Any investment in this market will have its own risks and whether short-term or long-term will make you lose money without a proper investment strategy. I think the best way to make a good profit is by carefully researching and evaluating every project activity because a good project requires a lot of different factors. In my opinion this market is not a place where you can easily make money because a lot of people have poor mentality and they tend to sell when there is bad news.

I personally have lost a lot of money in the short term and this year I will consider long-term investment in some good projects.

I would not go with one option when I know that I can have both, both comes with different benefits and rewards at various times, there are time that short term investment would pay and there are times it would not pay, so sometimes when one does not really benefit, at least one can substitute for the other, although all still depends on the capital that the investors has to use.

For people who feel that they don’t have all the money to actually pour into the market, I think that short term investment would actually be the best, but for short term investment, they have to still apply normal strategies like the way they trade, unlike long term trading where you could just leave your investment for a very long time without much anticipation since it is tied to a very long time.

I think that long-term investments take 5 years or more. Not every crypto investor will be able to keep their investments for so long. I'm for short-term investing.

Long-term investment doesn't have any fixed definition. It could be for 5 years or it could be like 1-2 years or maybe 10 years+, all depends upon the market conception of investors. Considering any investment to be long-term or short-term is subjective matter. I may consider day-trading to be short term and holding for 1 year to be long-term.

I am personally studying short-term investments. I mean trading on large exchanges like Binance, I started trading with some of the top altcoins there and I started making profits even though it wasn't big. on the other hand I also still keep a few coins for the long term.

Big profit is not a fact when you learning, the fact is you are making a profit. But if you lose then don't give up on trade! Short term trade is the best way to make money in crypto. To be an expert in the trade, you have to keep studying for a long time with practical trading! Win and loss are very common in the trade, you have to be prepared for both. As you are a learner, keep playing with few bucks, try to understand the price chart, spend time on the trading view, keep updated yourself about the latest news. Because in crypto trade, every news talks!

I have already invested a number of long-term coins but not profits or even losses, but I decided that some of my money will invest long-term but in 2 coins namely BTC and ETH these two coins do not need to research anymore because it is certain to be long-term continue to increase.

But I also invest in short-term trading on a daily basis even though a small profit remains profitable for me, searching for coin analysis and graphics is very important in choosing coins.

do u prefer short or long term investing in crypto i prefer short term only
i just buying a coin for ex at 20 and sold at 21 or buy at 60 sold 61 in the same
day i don't like long term investing because it take too long and finally that
coin can fall even peoples who bought ETH at 0.03 or more they are in big lost
now and even BNB some peoples bought at 0.003 or even 0.004 i know
that some coins can raise in the future but i don't think we have to hold
coins for yeras when u can make in this periode thousands of dollars
in short term investments i remember when i make 1700$ in hours
with NLC2 its a shit coin true with price of 20 sat now but i don't care
because i didn't hold it i just checked its chart and i found it falling
to 800 sat and raising to 900 in seconds so i bought it many times
at 800 and i sold it 900 and i make 1700$ i less then two hours  
what i want to say is why u holding coins for a year when u can
make at least 25 - 50$ in a day with only 0.15 - 0.20 BTC this
means 50*365=18250$

I prefer short term investment. Am not a patient investor, so I always prefer short term investment then I cash out and invest again.

the most important thing is that using short-term trading is best if you live on this money. if you have other sources of money income then look at cryptocurrency as a long-term investment

If you bought bitcoin in 2012 and hold until now you would be rich. Its same with most of the coins that could be bought for cents and they are traded over 50 dollars, little investment in that time is now a fortune. You can't beat that profit with buying at 20 and selling at 21, calculate how many trades you need to make some decent amount, but dont forget to calculate transaction and trading fees, or you plan to hold your coins on exchange and to risk your coins like that, or you hold them in you safe walle.

I'm always in for the long term. This doesn't always get me profit like the altcoins that I bought in 2018 are now worth less than 20%. I sold a lot in the bull run like LTC and it was a good choice but I also kept coins like ADA believing they might be worth  more in future but we can all see how that worked out.
I'm still in for the long run especially with Bitcoin and ETH.

I like you prefer to make short-term investments. because we don't need to wait too long to make a profit. even though the profits derived from short-term investments are small. but if collected continuously will be a lot. I usually use altcoin for short-term investments. for bitcoin I prefer to use long-term investment. because the increase in bitcoin usually takes a long time.
