Greed, because there are a lot of promise by the campaign and the developer we easily believe that its true
investing a lot of money in the project that is garbage.

A lot of people and newbies are getting scam everyday thinking about it, Sometimes even if we already know that the offer was just a big scam sometimes we just want or hope that it was not because we want the money. Most of the time newbies are getting scam not because they have no knowledge or lack of knowledge about the cryptocurrency but sometimes it was all greed they are just letting someone to scam them because they think it might be true to get or multiply their funds ending up getting scam. I think greed and ignorance are two major factors that make people fall victim of scam.  Some people want to get rich quickly even if they get to the crypto last month, such people will jump easily at any offer that looks buoyant but with traces of scams.  Secondly, some do not even bother to seek for knowledge about what they want to do, they just accept anything hook line and sinker.

Anyone that falls in this classification will always get scam because everything that's too good to be truth is definitely scam but chasing after despite the clarification is greedy and someone who's is greedy is dangerous to himself and people around him.

You might be right but 95% of all newbies which are scammed happen to lack the knowledge and i think the reason you thought of newbie to be greedy is because they most believe crypto to be an easy to get rich scheme.

You have said it all. The two major reason why people get scammed in the cryptocurrency market are greed and lack of knowledge about the market. The greedy people are the ones looking for quick ways to get rich and want to double their money quickly or go affect offers that are too good to be true. And the ones that lack knowledge are the newbies.

They are aiming for quicker ways then find themselves losing their investment, after that they will cry out loud and  blame this industry.

every human is greedy but to different extents. newbies are usually easily tricked and fall for scam because they cant really say if its true or not. they are majorly moved by the offers and great profits. these also move greedy people when they see offers that are too good to be true. they dont even want to know or research about the project, they just give in.this is simply mental laziness.

The greed makes new investors always stuck with scam projects. They need to go through some scam projects and then they will have experience in this market. I have a few new friends who are new to this market, they didn't listen to my advice and until now they have lost most of their money investing in IEO projects at bullshit exchanges. Well said! I was most often times a victim of scam not because of greed, but lack of knowledge in my early years and also trust in purchase of hardware assets on otc groups as well as cryptos. I however efficiently gotten better down the years. But with that been said, greed and desire to get rich quickly remains a major contributing factor on why people easily get scammed

I can't think greedy can be a point to got we scam. We invest for profits, I have some demand and Target point this can't be a greedy even I want to hold how long I wanna hold. Main point should be knowledge about the project. By this you will know that offering product really possible with this team members. You can see every year we can trust few projects, you have to just for it.

Every day I see a lot of IEO fail at small exchanges. If you go to Chainx, P2PB2P, Latoken .. I believe you will see huge junk, and most of those projects have failed IEO or become scam after the end of IEO. IEO is only good when you enter the top exchanges in this market
