Greed, because there are a lot of promise by the campaign and the developer we easily believe that its true
investing a lot of money in the project that is garbage.
No knowledge also is the second reason because of the trend they just go and invest without any knowledge of the said project
Trust because they trust the people in the project which sometimes pretends that the person is a member of the project
they can easily decieved that once they invest , they will soon find out that the person is just impersonating , and not really

An additional reason is the need and want of more income and most people are trapped in it with little consideration. Yes and especially they have no experience in this market. I used to be a victim and cheated on over $ 2,000 on a damn project. I believed in the shit project and invested in it. The CEO has promised to list WPP on major exchanges. But after the fomo was completed, he received enough money and from there out of the community and the project. From then on, I was very careful in project and team analysis. It gave me a great lesson.

One of the common reasons that they're scammed so easily is because of believing in the hype of these shitty projects. We are not doing proper research such as looking at the whitepaper, social media activities, reverse image search of each team member and advisors or checking if they actively attending conferences or AMAs, full transparency in showing us the product that they've developed, strategic partnerships and the list goes on.

I don't believe in the ratings of ICOBench of these projects, even if they are KYC-verified. Anybody can create fake LinkedIn accounts anyway. It's getting hard nowadays to determine if the projects are legitimate or not, because there are so many stuff that we need to deeply look on before saying that they're genuine and reliable.

One should be more practical then going on those just massive numbers which seems to be lucrative but in the end many of them gets scammed and ends up losing all the hard-earned money. Also, it is high risk and if one has good amount of money then can look into such new projects so that even if they lose they would be fine. Or else better to stay with the known coins or the ones which is even supported by the best of the people here.

Mostly because they don't think anything twice before doing it. And people now have became so hurried that they don't want to research a bit on where they are investing. Many things crypto to be a failsafe earning place which it is not. Though we can also safely say that scams have decreased over time as people are learning from their experience.

All these points are valid which have also been proven to be right over the years. Greed is a very bad thing which one should try as much as possible to remove from either his trading or investing aspects. Another that I think should be taken seriously is emotions, it should also be removed so that one can do whatever he wants with a clear mind without being biased. Also, i think it is wrong going into investing without knowing what the project is all about, knowledge of the project is also a very important factor to consider first.
