Good points the above mentioned when evaluating an IEO. The fact that when it's listed in the big exchange has an addition consideration to the investors. However, we still have to be selective when joining a project since a lot of scam surrounds the entire crypto industry.

I check if whitepaper is plagiarized or not. Scammers simply copy from various whitepaper and use this in their whitepaper. You can do it with various free resource of plagiarism

Experienced investors know that they must carefully consider this things before investig. However, there are still investors who just invest in projects just because they see it profitable and in the end they end up losing money. Also take note that an IEO in a known exchange doesn't guarantee that the project is good and will grow, it still depends on how coordinated and well managed the project is. I've been in some ICOs that had a successful crowdfunding and yet they failed to execute and develop the project due to mismanagement.

I dont like the idea that every exchange doing IEO even though their exchange has now legitimate volume. I noticed on some IEO on latoken, probit that their project opening are not that good so beware using these exchanges. I heard that CurioInvest a project in probit has allegedly selling their team token on the exchange. Sound very awful and knowing this could give negative view on IEO.

The successful of IEO projects starts from the exchange conducting the fundraising, forget latoken, probit and idax, they are very worse and can't be trusted, no matter how good the project they offer on these exchanges are i personally will never invest any penny on them

For me, it's not that I don't pay attention to others, but a truly quality project will definitely be selective in choosing exchange to work together. And the following big exchanges provide a great opportunity for success. So we don't need to spend too much energy and time.

Most likely that other investors that have the same mindset as yours would do the same thing. So, those exchanges that were not preferred of most if they run an IEO.
The chance of being successful is pretty low. Success in a way that it's going to be a legit project and continuous in progress not just during the sale.

I am sure this kind of problem will not be able to do a large exchange IEO like you mentioned. I am sure, if the project is fake with a team that is not real, whitepaper copy. Surely they will carry out IEO in exchange of not well known or low. Because they are aware, they cannot enter into large exchanges.

Larger exchange who offers IEO's also paying attentions with the project that they will allow to be added to their exchange, not just because the developers can pay the listing fees but also they are checking if the project will not harm their reputations.

The chance of having a good rate of success still being considered by investors who place their money with big exchange. Support will continue as the market demands for IEO's do eyeing inside big and reputable exchangers.

I dont know why exchanges can be one of the reason for the project to be promising, well just because those exchanges has a good reputation? Those exchanges does not list a coin because of the purpose,they list a coin because of payment made by team AFAIK. Meaning those project that has no capability but had the good vision for their project wont take place because they cant afford to pay for listing in a good exchange.

Investors are looking for profit and they will always do that but it's really sad to see so many short term traders. These traders are hurting IEO. Almost of all projects listed on the chart traded above the ico price at the early time of trade. But they are all not even traded below the ico price and that looks so terrible. IEO is a short term game whatever you even got a quality project and it doesn't matter a lot.
It caused by those are winning the game has already gone from the market. The majority of IEO investors are short term investors that used hit and run trick to trade.

I still prefer to invest in an ico with real product rather than betting and throwing my money for short term traders of IEO. So many IEO traders are doing swing trade.

How do you check your whitepaper plagiarism and fake team pictures? I think I may start investing bad projects in other to expose them and prevent people from investing in scamming projects. Thanks

It is obvious that IEO is one of the ways for the exchange to increase its profit, due to new people and due to turnover during the sale. And what's wrong with that?
Those who manage to take part in sales can almost guaranteed to earn money, is that bad?
After all, it attracts new funds to the market. No new money - no growth. We must be grateful that IEO has become possible and so successful.
