Hello everyone,

It's been a while since I see videos of people who turn coins of 20 Cts ( Euros ) to ring. So, I thought, "Why not me ?".

Basically I had just the idea of making a ring, then I thought about it, and I thought, "Why do not make a bitcoin ring ?".

Finally, after many hours, I tried to engrave the Bitcoin logo, but it's really too complicated ( I do not have the material to do better than that ).

So finally, this ring is a failure half, but I still share because that's it !

I pressed fit an angled stand (made from scrap chunk of 2x4)  into a recess milled into the of the back of the coin plaque, then dowel pinned it (the coin plaque and stand assembly)
to the engraved walnut base plate.The plaque/stand assembly swivels on the dowel pin.
All ingredients are pressed and/or pinned together. No adhesives or fasteners used.
This makes for easy break down/assembly and possible future mods.
I'll seal/varnish it this weekend, then I think it will be done....finally.
This is the most fun I've had on CNC in awhile.

This Bitcoin Rocket Ticker has been built from ground zero as a collaborative project and is custom made from scratch - including, but not limited to: stripping, sanding, powder coating, circuit board design/production & assembly, code, soldering, tacos, and custom CAD files to get this fully functional to the point of where it's at now. Each one is individually hand made and takes 1-2 weeks per rocket to assemble.




As this was announced at this years Litecoin Summit with a full on display, I haven't quite gotten around to sharing it more; but there are variations of it available in multiple colors such as a prismatic orange, blue, black, chrome, red, and whatever else I currently have on hand.




This display is a rocket lamp which makes uses of old tubes from the 60's that are now repurposed into a live Bitcoin Ticker.



I've also included a secret, hidden feature for those with Nano hardware wallets. If one were to open the display and look at the case that its mounted to, they will find that a hardware ledger fits inside. So not only is this Rocket a piece I wanted for people to display in their nooks, but it also has dual functionality as a home to place ones hardware wallet.
