It is sad to say that IEO meant not really great as what we are expected to be. Though some of them are successful but most of them still aren't getting that much market appreciation unlike it happens to BNB IEO. If we consider in buying IEO projects, I suggest to decide it after listing but also to consider the buying and selling market for it be sure that there is transactions happen not that it sucks only.

If there's real usage that the project will provide the value will increase along the way, though it's true that most of them have a same patterned after being listed inside exchange, they all fall due to the large pressures of investors selling activities. Seeing that there's opportunities to get the rewards that they intentionally wanted to have from IEO's that they participated with.

In my own personal opinion, you better check it first before you invest in any IEO projects because maybe you could also get scam like other investors and bounty hunters who participated in ICO projects. A lot of people do really have doubts in IEO projects too because some think that it might be profitable and some says it does not.

But be sure you are investing in a legitimate project or youll end up having coins that are of no use when these does not reach exchanges. Investing after it hit exchanges is a secure process as you have idea how the coin will hold in the market. At early listing period, normally these coins are cheap so its worth investing during that time.

I think it usually depends. If the IEO you've joined is a good one, waiting to the exchanges of the token would deifinitely bring you more money. If ever the IEO you've participated in gives constant and promising profit, then you should stick on it.
