It is not the IEO you should be afraid of, it should be the exchange. If it is a new exchange that has not proven itself yet then why are they doing an IEO, they should focus on getting better themselves instead trying to make money for someone else project.
If a place is collecting money on behalf of someone else it should be big enough to not need your money anyway and should be making a ton of money on trading fees. So, I wouldn't trust an exchange that is doing an IEO while they are new, god knows what type of coin they picked to make their IEO, it could be something horrible and that means I would stay away from it no matter what. Could there be a possibility of profit there? Sure why not but does it really worth the risk of losing all of your money?

If the project is good then no issues in investing into it post doing the research and verifications about the development team if it's in a reputed exchange but don't go for it if they are listing in a new exchange as they don't have volume and it will just kill the project as well as your investment. It's better to go for a expensive token with reputed exchange rather than going for cheap token under new and low volume exchange.

I have the same doubt as you do, but recently I found there is an exchange named Hydax, it looks not bad and is going to host some events. From previous comments they say we should trust those already trusted, but I think we should do more research and give these new exchanges a try because they have their advantages and offers for their users, correct?

IEO on the new exchange? I think it's very risky and even if there really is it can't be successful. New exchanges always have problems with trading volume, so how can a small volume make a project successful. who will buy their tokens? so it's better to avoid risky things like this. Right ,, this is very risky because the new exchanges are always faking the volume to attract traders, sometimes the new exchanges for the IEO list are free, I am afraid that the free list of sales of IEO will not sell, so it is better at Binance with its confidence and much to there. |

to be honest, its just a stupid think. listen, even if it just a 0.001 cent/each, its doesn't mean your money safe,its doesn't mean your investement have a chance to grow. because we dont know exactly what a kind of that exchange and their IEO. i prefer play some casino's game on fortunejack rather than put my money into such type of investment. |

I do not think that IEO on the new exchange can be successful. You forget about the competition, which is already in full swing between exchanges. Which new exchange you are talking about it i don’t know, because you have to mention it. Otherwise it’s very difficult to recommend your desired exchange. New exchange is too much risky for the IEO investment. A lot of reliable exchanges are failed in IEO launchpad. Exchanges is really a big deal in IEO projects so you will never expect good thing from new exchanges project. There are no chances to success. |

why would a new exchange want to venture into IEO? They should at the least try to engage large user but sadly everyone wants to have the share of the cake on big fund in cryptocurrency, they dont care and are ready to deceive everyone. I never had experiencing new IEO listed in a new exchange made a threefold gains in its price during the sale. It return to loss the money that you invested for because of a trading volume that mostly dump into the lowest price until it can not easily recover it anymore.

Yes you can trust. But this may differ from exchange to exchange. For example, Binance and Latoken are not equal. You can get a much more profitable return on your investment in the Binance IEO. But I can't promise you anything about your investment in LAToken.
