What about maxcoin shitminer? Is it compatible? Is there ADL fix in your miner?

Dear Dev, please spend a couple of thousands from premine to buy a place on Mintpal and I swear, avoid shitty exchanges like xnigma and Co, simply don't list them on OP and delete every their announce from TT. Register new account and pretend you are lucky miner and sell a small part of premine in BUY/SELL thread, then just send 2-3 BTC to Mintpal. Ask them for 2-3 weeks listing, cuz coins don't last long anyway.

looks like a fair launch BUT

2 billion minting  2000 000 000 ?

block reward only 2000?

premine  1.5% with block reward that size is HUGE

Also

do you mean 1.5% of the premine for bounty?  or another 1.5% of the total?

i think the following command should work

I'm definitely missing something @ Keccak.

Been testing out the CGMiner 3.7.3 (version which says its specifically made for Keccak)

When I run the .bat with --keccak it says invalid conf file, partially loading. And spams me with Accepted Diff 0/16 and stale shares when solo mining. It does list everything in the panel as running, other than that.

When I run the .bat without the --keccak it says invalid url/credentials. And spams me with Accepted Diff 0.16 and stale shares when solo mining. It does list everything in the panel as running, other than that.

My .bat is:

I'm definitely missing something @ Keccak.

Been testing out the CGMiner 3.7.3 (version which says its specifically made for Keccak)

When I run the .bat with --keccak it says invalid conf file, partially loading. And spams me with Accepted Diff 0/16 and stale shares when solo mining. It does list everything in the panel as running, other than that.

When I run the .bat without the --keccak it says invalid url/credentials. And spams me with Accepted Diff 0.16 and stale shares when solo mining. It does list everything in the panel as running, other than that.

My .bat is:

setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

cgminer.exe -o --keccak 127.0.0.1:7087 -u user -p password --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-dyninterval 7 --intensity 19 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 8192 -g 1 --gpu-powertune -20 --gpu-engine 1000 --gpu-memclock 1200 --gpu-memdiff 0 --gpu-vddc 1.2 --temp-target 75 --temp-overheat 82 --temp-cutoff 88 --auto-fan --gpu-fan 30-85 --queue 0 --scan-time 0 --expiry 1

My .conf is :

with keccak i do better by going minimum and letting it figure out the best settings like try just this:

setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

cgminer.exe -o --keccak 127.0.0.1:7087 -u user -p password

use a bat file and make sure you have no extra spaces or whatever. go try it on a 365 pool for a few you'll figure it out.

you miss the -o option for server cred!!!

I'm not sure if you just need 3.7.3, or 3.7.3_keccak (at least that's what my linux cgminer says..  If you are unsure of your miner you can grab the one listed here as it will work with this too:  http://max.1gh.com/

1. set the same port.
rpcport is 22555 and you are trying to connect to 7087.
Type 22555 in place of 7087.

2. And have you tried to set
"-o http://"  before the 127.0.0.1:7087 ?

I am not sure, but it might be the second problem.

Another question:   The client is not on the hompage. I was able to find a download to a mega file called "galleon.zip". There was another zip file there earlier. It was called something else.

Anyway, do I have the correct zip file?

Finally, will the password to the zip file be announced here, in the OP or where?

Also, does anyone have any other nodes other than: 188.226.165.9 ?

Thanks again!

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks Wink

I got 3 immature blocks, and a few orphans also, was certainly smooth at launch time, nothing "funny" that I could tell.
KGW has kicked in though, and it's clear that there's a lot of hashing power being thrown at this.

Happy mining!

My .conf is :

listen=1
daemon=1
server=1
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=password
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=22555
addnode=80.112.144.84
addnode=82.139.127.205

Sorry to bother, but, been stuck on this for a couple days basically. Am I missing anything in the bat or conf? Thanks for any assistance.

try it like this:
cgminer.exe --keccak -o 127.0.0.1:22555  -u user -p password --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-dyninterval 7 --intensity 19 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 8192 -g 1 --gpu-powertune -20 --gpu-engine 1000 --gpu-memclock 1200 --gpu-memdiff 0 --gpu-vddc 1.2 --temp-target 75 --temp-overheat 82 --temp-cutoff 88 --auto-fan --gpu-fan 30-85 --queue 0 --scan-time 0 --expiry 1

Also, Make sure you have a version of cgminer which has Keccak support.

anyone have nodes for wallet?

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks Wink

strange that did not work with the conf.. now it works but i get only 362MH/s and 75WU/m... my R9 290 only 400MH/s. but no rejects and no WUs.

Don't think so... Admin did a real good job... Pools up in minutes, wallet released absolutly at time...

In my opinion a very smooth launch

Failed launch

Don't think so... Admin did a real good job... Pools up in minutes, wallet released absolutly at time...

In my opinion a very smooth launch

Yes and no leaking of the source 30 minutes before launch! haha

I also don't read about orphans so thats good. I wanted to put up a pool at hardcoreminers but i'm just checking how this launch goes. Too many coins lately.

Wallet works fine. First block i see is 58. So premine maybe 1-5x. Block 1 may has amount of millions, premine  Undecided

Pool up too quick, very hard to solo mine. That is not good for small rigs.

Hha yeah right, the owner or someone else was solo mining this before it even launched... Total fail. Pools up in minutes but none of them worked until DIF is way up.

yes unless premine is 100% crystal clear about what and how its used for it usually does not end well.

ummm. do you have your conf set as galleoncoin or just galleon

it should be galleon.conf needs to be in the Roaming folder for windows.

after that load the wallet AND WAIT A FEW MINUTES.

i had no problem with this and it synced up just fine. took about 4 or 5 min to start syncing though

DDoS attacked our pool.

We show the right stats, right speed, right shares.

Galleon Mining Pool Hub

http://galleoncoin.miningpoolhub.com

- 1% fee (0% fee for two days)
- US / Asia servers
- DDoS protected.

We will change DDoS protection service soon. I'm not satisfied it.

You can register and mine coins by trying to refresh time to time since DDoS attack is up.
Mining is just clean and safe.

We are surving about 77GH/s just 26.5% of net hash.
Also you can mine other coins by just single sign up.

Fuck you, wallet won;t sync even with nodes from config

same here.

and here ....

ummm. do you have your conf set as galleoncoin or just galleon

it should be galleon.conf needs to be in the Roaming folder for windows.

after that load the wallet AND WAIT A FEW MINUTES.

i had no problem with this and it synced up just fine. took about 4 or 5 min to start syncing though

Thanks a mill for you help, I changed the name and now its working - love when things run..

Only kidding of course. Don't send me your wallet file. However, you can try to take the backed up wallet file (wherever you saved it) and move it back into your \%app data&\Galleon folder (assuming windows) exactly as "wallet.dat" - copy the other wallet files into a temporary folder and remove them from your app data folder. Then reload the wallet.

How the hell are people mining at 3TH/s?Huh O_o

That's not in the terahash realm. You're looking at a stupidly powerful system, but it's certainly not in TH/s.

Assuming a botnet with 9-11MH per physical CPU, that's a network of approximately 300,000 systems.

Left for work after launch of coin with no working wallet.

Come home 11 hours later and redo conf file in appdata folder. Still no working wallet.

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks Wink

Wallet is working fine for me.
I used the galleon.conf on page 1. After starting the wallet it took a minute to start the sync, but then kicked in & fine since.

What I would try is this....
1. delete everything in the appdata/galleon/ folder.
2. copy & save the galleon.conf file from pg1 to the appdata/galleon/ folder.
3. restart your pc
4. start galleon-qt and wait a couple of minutes.
5. if it fails to start sync, close the wallet & check the debug.log file to see if there is any useful info to help debug.

yes i do all that, just reinstalled windows,

just do it again in fresh install system, and same happened with backuped wallet.dat files, with all of them, so i wont throw my time at this shit again and mine to loose coins, same happened with new backup and new mined coins

Yes this isn't a balanced offer. Offers are up to users, this isn't a price decided by the depth like on stock-markets.

Why not make yours ? GLN need to be spread Smiley

Well, sometime exchange = death Cheesy

You can already trade on Cryptokk we starting to have some offers Wink

Thats true!

We prepare few things about Galleon : shops, games, gambling games, exchange (coming soon with qoinex), first update and few more! Only exchange is not the solution for successful coin.

At least, try to get NXTE, atomic trade etc.. They are not great or as known as poloniex/cryptorush, mintpal or cryptsy, but they work fine, but MYR, hiro, fugue began on nxt-e and i trade them without problems. Sloth is on atomic trade and it's fine too.

Hi guys,

there was an attack on dwarfpool at night, the balancing and payments were automatically stopped till manually check. That's why you did not get any payment for some hours.
But now fixed!

During attack the connection between servers is not stable, I don't get any info about shares. I'll think about better optimization in such issue!

Thank you!!

Why the hell you are wasting our timw with these shitty exchanges? Vole for CR.

While you're donating your BTC to CR maybe you can put in a request for them to code a proper trade engine that executes orders properly?

They can also get their withdrawals working if you donate just enough BTC to them.

Your chance to shine

I wanted to remind everyone that in ONE HOUR we will have our third drawing, this means we will be adding two more coins to our exchange!
Galleon has only 14 votes right now, the good news is that you don't need to be at the top of the list for a chance to win, all you need is a minium of 100 votes (more is better, of course  Cheesy) and you will be entered into the random drawing which will be streamed live.

owner of this pool is a known scammer who ripped off many people on GNS coin by running off with 5 million prize fund.  He keeps making new accounts with new names to try and promote this lame pool constantly, be warned, use at your own risk.
