To be sincere. No positive news will switch the trend of the crypto market to surge momentum because the market is currently is a stage of downtrend which always happened when halving is coming and if you check closely we're in holiday season when some people may use their holding to things for the family.

Nothing wrong is happening with ethereum and there are many signs that point towards the right direction, but investors so far have only cared about bitcoin and what its price is doing, once bitcoin shows some months of inactivity and remains stable I am sure many investors will decide to give ethereum a chance and this will increase its price in a quick way, you just have to be ready when that occurs and take advantage of it when it finally happens.

Each year the market will have different ways of increasing prices so I think Christmas will not have any big surprise happening in this coin. I have analyzed a lot of these coins but ETH will only range from $150 to $200 until the end of this year. It is unlikely that the coin will appreciate as much as in 2017 and it may take some time before another adjustment. My prediction ETH will reach $250 in early 2020 and will increase slowly until it reaches $500 by the end of next year.

yes you are right that there is a price reduction not only on Ethereum, even at all alt.  what is happening now I believe this is part of the beginning of a rise in the future.  the easiest example is if we read the long-term RSI scale if it's already above 90% it's likely to drop to RSI below 20%. and now on the weekly TF the RSI is still at 46% if it returns to the RSI 90% I am sure the price of Ethereum can reach $300 or even more.
