People are still afraid of putting money into crypto currencies. Look at the market, everything is falling apart without any sign of improvement. But there are still few investors that are going against the market trend and investing hard.
Investors who oppose market trends and invest heavily are those who have made a lot of profits in the past through crypto investments, so they dare to take risks at this time, if the new investors will certainly not dare to make investments at this time.

Actually, the most people are not really interested in cryptocurrency itself, they are interested in getting profit. In 2017 we saw a great altcoin season when all the coins were growing which attracted many people to the cryptocurrency market. As we are in the downtrend at the moment, people are trying to earn money in other ways.

It's only natural that people are still afraid to put their money into crypto because of the influence of the market that has not improved, because everyone wants to make a profit instead of a loss.

There should be lots of people who still believe into cryptos. It's an investment and not everyone is going to earn the profit, there are still going to be those that are going to lose their money that they have invested in the investment, cause that's part of the risk and since cryptocurrency is not like other investments like stock market ,it is highly volatile so there is a huge risk involved in it.
When someone is losing his or her money, someone else is out there making the money and that is how it works. But it still good for everyone to do research before investing and also take their decision and know whether they are investing for a long term or just a short term.

Obviously there are still many who invest in cryptocurrency, because the potential of these digital currencies is still huge and the actual market status won't last forever, the prices are going to increase highly again sooner or later. Of course, I am here talking about the most promising currencies, like Bitcoin, Ethereum and so.

as we know that in 2017 many ICO were successful (at least reached softcap) and of course the market cap was also very high at the time, so it proves that many people are interested to investing in cryptocurrency, but now where do these investors go? because now the market cap is down and many ICO or IEO are failing (not reaching softcap), are investors no longer interested to investing in cryptocurrency? if yes, where are they investing now? or is there a more profitable investment than investing in cryptocurrency for now?
The answer is no. Almost of them was cut loss and leave this market, and only a few "oldbie" remain in this market with an emty bag, that's why you can see the market cap can not grow up. As I see in my country, almost people are invested in real estate and USD, and we need a hype like 2017 to attract their money again.

Currently many ICO or IEO are going through and many of them find their investor, of course there isn’t such a stir like it was a couple of years ago, but still there are successful ICO/IEO, even today.

In the actual fact, many crypto investors have not really found it good for crypto this year because of the huge dump of coin price value. The rate of investment this year I think may not be as much as it was in 2017. Nonetheless, investors are still investing. I think investors just need to be encouraged to continue with their investment into crypto. The tide will soon turn for better in crypto. All we need is to be optimistic and not give up. There are still so many opportunities to enjoy in crypto if we do not loose hope. However, many investors are still emerging from crypto and those who have been there already should not give up but should keep their hope high and remain persistent.

That might be true a lot of ICO were still successful today but still compare to the past years of ICO in cryptocurrency or even in this forum, A lot of ICO's have failed in finding its investors in the project and a lot of them also just a scam ICO because the token is not going to maintain in the market and sometimes worst the token is not even listed in an exchanger because the developer of the token have not maintained the token in the development. I think a lot of investors already lost their trust in ICO's and only a small percentage of investors are only investing and risking their money in their kind of profit.

To be honest, I quit investing in other cryptocurrencies since few months because I didn't see any huge increase of any other altcoin except bitcoin. I didn't see a huge potential in other cryptos for the past few months. I've just invested in bitcoin for the whole months before even if bitcoin's price is mostly down this period but I have the faith on it to increase in the future.

Well, I think that even if there's a lot of scam projects before, crypto investors are still trying their best to find a worthy project to invest because they still believe that cryptocurrency investment is much better instead of traditional investment since it offers great rewards. Crypto investors now became smart and very skeptical that is why we only see a few projects that reach its softcap but they are ready to invest anytime as long as the project is good.

I think that cryptocurrency is still the most profitable investmens but investors now scared because hype is gone. Now all expected a new way of interest in crypto.

Of course! There have been really successful ICO/IEO that have gathered millions of dollars and now their marketcap is even higher. Mostly just invest in projects that have realistic goals and have a product to sell.

Taking into consideration, not all projects having realistic goals or plan would set their milestone in a legal manner. Or in simple explanation, not all projects that are looking good are good and not all projects that are looking bad is bad at all. If there is a criteria of choosing the best project that has a huge chances of getting success, then maybe we could post it in here so people could finally have their basis of decision to what project they should invest their money into rather than getting their investment lost because of being to eager to invest with lack of knowledge prior to investing.

like what I think, most people are more likely to think about investing in bitcoin than altcoin right now. it was proven when I saw the price of a dominant bitcoin is greater than the other altcoin prices. Most likely, investors are currently waiting for a potential IEO project. I quite believe that many people who aim to invest in projects that will make sales in popular markets for now.

I think it was a golden time for crypto investors who invested in 2017 and market was so high. But in 2018 it was a broken time for crypto so that maximum investors lose their money. So i think investors are observing market and when market will up they must come back here.

Investors learned from those previous years and now working out on how to take advantage. Those who bought and got lucky early 2017 are now sorting the market movement and trying to find the good position to take, while those who got stuck and still holding with their investment are also trying to observe and see if they can scalp or do the short term trade. It's investors preposition on how to find edge to earn and to avoid losing money.
