what happens  ? hmm  i think people will panic and was like omg omg the price is now so verry high , i need to act fast selling while some are still buying .  it sounds insane but yes its true that there are buyers when the coins are on thier peak . but for the person that does not have a btc and money the moment that happen , well that would be the worst experience of thier life because they could miss a verry big oppurtunity and on a blink of an eye anything can dissapear  .

If btc rallies to $100k I think alts will catch up too as all alt coins is valued in satoshi mainly. And as btc values increase altcoins btc price to usd will catch up

For sure high probability if altcoin will increased too, but maybe only big altcoin which can follow bitcoin price because logicly or what is on my mind is when bitcoin reach $100k, it means bitcoin already accepted worldwide, adopted and a lot of people demands it. But only in case that thing happen, because $100k actually too high for me.

Have you see the movement price when bitcoin had touched its all time high at 2017 ago?  What was happening with altcoin price, it's pretty much the same in every cycle my friend. Altcoin prices were following the bitcoin price and their price was also touched all time high. I'm still waiting for the bitcoin price to pump rapidly to the new all time highs or maybe even 100 thousand as you mentioned. Then I will be waiting for an altcoin pump as well

if BTC goes to 100k almost all the altcoins will go up too in USD price, and many of them will be squeezed and value less against BTC
what happens after that, no one knows but can be the same effect as in 2017

Of course, Altcoin will follow the price of Bitcoin, we can see the experience in 2017 where when the price of Bitcoin increased dramatically, the price of Altcoin also went up. But I don't think the price of 100k can happen in the near future, because it requires 12x the current price.

It would take a lot of market cap to hit the value of $100,000 and i think it might happen but it would take a lot of years to happen. And it will also depend on the investors if they will still bought even thou the price is really that high.

And as of now, there is a possibility that the value of BTC could reach more than the ATH and hopefully it will go much higher and no more DUMPS to happen but that's the flow of the market, we cannot stop it.

If that happens, of course everyone who holds bitcoin will feel a great deal of sadness and loss, but of course this will not happen in the near future because today many people are using bitcoin as their investment asset and the growing number of bitcoin lovers will surely increasingly makes the price continues to be maintained and so too if the fewer bitcoins in number will certainly make the price of bitcoin more expensive later. That is really doubtful there is a lot more ethereum than bitcoin and if it reached a price of 10k when bitcoin reached 100k then that will mean that the market cap of ethereum will be half of the one bitcoin had at that moment.

And that does not seem realistic to me when the the difference between the market caps of bitcoin and ethereum is above 8x in favour of bitcoin and it seems that distance is increasing as the price of bitcoin become higher.

no, i dont think so dude.  When bitcoin increased to $ 100k, the mood of the crowd changed dramatically and hundreds of thousands of new investors entered the crypto market.  When bitcoin reaches $ 100k, that's when people trust and nickname bitcoin as digital gold.  then the volume became bigger and the whales became less and less powerful.  The market will gradually return to balance and the alts will have the advantage to demonstrate their technological prowess.  The alts will soon have the foundation to grow stronger and the pricing may be higher 100 times now.

If bitcoin touches 100k per one then altcoins will skyrocket, even shitcoins will bring profits, coins that are presently at 0.003$ will easily hit 500$ per one, I think its still very impossible for bitcoin to grow this high, I wonder what would make bitcoin grow that much

A huge profit will come to those who are hoping and holding bitcoin for a long time, besides, altcoin follows the foot of the man and raises the price unbelievably but this good thing is there are so many errors in the calculation and analysis because I believe that people can be greedy but they still know they shouldn't let greed go too far, they will not wait for a record price, they will sell bitcoin when it is $20k or maybe a bit more. Altcoins may suffer against btc of it goes that high but in usd value they will also become expensive by that time and personally i think that the next peak value of btc will be much bigger than 100k if the market just follows the historic price cycle then btc will be way more than 100k.

I do believe with time it is possible to see that price and I also want to see alt coins doing well, but this to happen btc price also needs to increase because without btc price surge alts hardly move, so it is important to see btc moving up, for now price is hanging around $9200+ price.

BTC will reached that  high when the time that this Halving take effect again.

There are some years when bitcoin pumping continue like last Halving in 2017 when the whole market brings profit to everyone aside from those Greed that wanted to earn more and become trapped when the price fall in  2018.
