when it really happens some altcoin will not survive but not all altcoin will die.
so, in my opinion, it is not really a good thing to buy some altcoin today
buying altcoin today can give you a lot of profit someday but you also have a higher chance to lose all your money

But you have a point buddy, it's either two things for the altcoins if btc surge that high.

I'm not sure if BTC goes to 100k USD the price of ALTS will be 0, it's still very far to do that,
altcoin so far is also needed to be an alternative if someone does not use BTC to become a payment.
some people will also choose altcoin to be an investment if they don't want BTC, and as long as these two reasons are still present, ALTS will continue to exist and prices will rise over time.

Maybe yes, some altcoins that don't have great projects, developments is expected to be worthless and end up to be one of those shitcoins release. But the price of Bitcoin is impossible to reach the lowest price, or reach the resistance.

Well if bitcoin touched in 2021 100k$ then for sure good altcoins will follow the price jump and they will make a new ATH too and I'm talking about good altcoins not those who don't have a team, a working product and a solid roadmap that have been completed more than 70%. The rest of the altcoins will go abolish with almost zero chances to recover so your statement its kinda incorrect on altcoins going to zero.

If this happens because of massive adoption and not because of certain organization behind it like the big whales and exchanges then there is a big chance that the alts will grow also.

There will be no dump to alt as the market will be crowded because of massive investors around the globe. Most of the investors are very picky and they don't like to stick to 1 only therefore not only btc will grow but also the other coins or alts.

If bitcoin touches $ 100k, surely this will make the crypto world more uproar and crowded people flock to buy it. On the other hand, those who are Hodl are enjoying a luxurious vacation with their families. Or have already bought other assets in the real world such as land, houses, cars and others. In my own personal opinion, if bitcoin reaches it's price to $100k there possibilities that only few coins will survive because bitcoin will be dominant. Top altcoins like ETH, BCH, LTC, XRP, BNB and etc will also increased it's price because investors will not only focus in bitcoin that they will split their funds to earned more income.

That's a sweet event if ever btc hits $100k. I'm prettt sure many will wanted to buy btc again due to hype since last ATH many people become interested in btc cause the news have got it everywhere. Altcoin price will soar too if the btc increase though some will probably died out too those projects that arent good and no market cap.

This is nothing new with the crypto market and if you look at history, altcoins tend to be correlated to Bitcoin's pricing. so i predict that history may repeat itself. high Bitcoin prices will generate interest in cryptocurrency as a whole. Some of the new investors will discover altcoins, and choose to invest. As a result, a Bitcoin bull run should have a positive effect on all altcoins with strong fundamentals, due to increased awareness. so In my opinion the prices of altcoin will rise too. this could be wrong, but value of other altcoins such as TRON, Vechain, Cosmos and Chainlink have already seen increases in value along with the increases on the value of BTC.

In my opinion, I think when bitcoin reaches 100K altcoin will follow it, or you could say every time bitcoin increases the price of altcoin also increases so I don't think that altcoin will become zero. And when bitcoin reaches that point, I think many people will feel happy and will decide to sell it and maybe use it to buy altcoin which is expected to increase.

This depends on how bitcoin is in people's eyes, if bitcoin can be used to make transactions and become a legal currency that is used to make purchases and sales then it is certain that bitcoin will be bought even though the price has reached more than $100K because bitcoin is one of the most payment important and safest, but I believe the fee that will be charged when making a transaction will be very expensive.

Altcoins will not die, there’s a limited supply of bitcoin so for sure bitcoin can’t supply the world and people might start looking for a better and cheaper currency so even if bitcoin reach $100k, altcoins will follow the up trend. You might be talking about the shitcoins right now, of course they have no room for growth and they wont grow because the developer are not serious about that. Always invest on top coins/tokens, the whole cryptomarket will go up again.

no, I'm sure altcoin will survive. because it is impossible bitcoin forever rali and go up to 100k. there must have been a pump before, and this pump will be a momentum for altcoin to rise.

They will survive, but I don't think that all altcoins can get along with the momentum of increase in price of bitcoin. There are altcoins that still remain low even bull run have come already.

Most people will be happy if bitcoin reach 100k, mostly of also altcoins keep value for bitcoin so they get some from alrcoins, if altcoins price will drop when bitcoin reach 100k will not be ok at all for most people who hold altcoins.

That's for sure, every crypto users will be happy since we are really hoping for that to happen. Just expect that altcoins will increase too the same as how bitcoin will increase its price.
