Note : due to the current issues with bitmain deliveries I am unlocking this thread. Maybe it will help people with the June 2020 delays.










I have permission to do the thread here vs service discussion.

Bitmain has created a complex set of rules for credit,coupons and refunds.

Many of us don't know or understand how to get proper refunds ,discounts ,credits.

so i will try to run a thread covering these issues.

i will self mod.

I bolded the prices which are
$ 798.91
$ 684.91

This is 114 usd in btc   now when I paid  BTC  was 11897  and BTC is Now 8633.    So I am not sure how they will refund my BTC  the important thing is that they are consistent with us all.

if I get 114/11897 = 0.0095822 btc or if I get 114/8633 = 0.013205 btc is not very important to me.  But that they apply this consistently does matter.

This is one of my orders due a refund it has shipoped and has been delivered so my refund is due now.

I urge anyone that place an order From july on to look at it and determine if they are due a refund or a coupon. If you do not know then ask here.

I went back and checked all orders in 2019

a feb order 0 issues
a july order 0 issues
the august 8 delivered on sept 20 is the one above and I am due $114 in btc
the oct order for a s17 I got a coupon I am squared away
the oct order for a s17 pro I got a coupon I am squared away

the nov order for a s17 pro not sure if I will get a future coupon they did drop price from 1999 to 1599 within 10 day period I may get a coupon.

The orders above have all been shipped.
the order below are not shipped
the nov order for a s17 pro made today not sure if I will get a coupon  due to ship in under 7 days
the oct order for t17+ ships in dec not sure of coupons or refunds.
the oct order for a t17 ships in dec not sure of coupons or refunds

the sept order for 2 t17e's I am due a paypal refund of 864   this gear should be here in NJ it is yet to ship I suspect they are not interested in shipping it asap as it is due a refund to paypal of 864.

So as you can see o  rders for 10 pieces of gear are causing  me a lot of paper work.

It looks like 114+ 865 = 979 in refunds are at stake and a 400 dollar coupon for the s17 pro that arrives today.
along with 2 possible coupons for the december gear.

Just some notes about these "Credit" as they call it in Bitmain:

In addition, now you have credit of 853USD, you can choose to use it in your new orders or refund. If you choose refund, you need to provide a valid BTC wallet address, thanks.

Same here. It's been over 36 hours since I requested refund. However, there have been 2 full working days in China since then and I expect them to answer during the next 12 hours or I will contact them again.

one from each batch so it is 850+ 800+ and 750+ USD on all three combined

At  prpz and favebook     you both should be able to access your shipped sales records please  screen shot them  for info.  they should show the difference between  what you paid and how you paid and what they say  it was worth when it arrived.

For the record I ordered another s17 pro  today.

I have  multiple  orders arriving from now until Jan 1.

At Biodom..  Go to the unshipped order  and screenshot it for your records.

I will post a screen shot of the s9k order in a few minutes.

A credit is not a  coupon  it is the full amount owed on an order

I been looking at that to, so apparently its after your order ships
I was told this and another member as well however we have one person who was told you don't have to wait for the order to ship
Credit is something you can't see on your account and apparently you order with PayPal and pay and let them know they refund you the credit amount via PayPal
How this works and if it actually works I cannot confirm we are still in early stages and there is no clear picture as of yet so we are all comparing what is said and who gets what actually

I will look for the chart  it applies to coupons  not credits/refunds

Coupons max at 30% of item price.

i.e. if you have a large 683 coupon

1000 dollar item uses 300 of the coupon and kills off the rest of the coupon.
1500 dollar item uses 450 of the coupon and kills off the rest of the coupon

this is the credit order  look at red boxes  I am owed 114.  I could apply it as cash to a future order.  I could get a refund in BTC
I asked for this a btc refund.

It is different then a coupon as it is fully applied to a future order or fully refunded  in this case btc.

So if this was for 20 s9k units not 2

I would get 20 x 57 = 1140    either as  a refund  in btc  or as a future credit off an order.

so a 1599 s17 pro  would be

1599-1140 = 459 + shipping and tax  much better then a coupon.

This is a mail I just got from Bitmain. However, even though I ordered one S17e (shipping between 1-10 November). I haven't got any coupons or credit on website, nor has it been shipped yet even though it is Friday (8th November).

I would imagine the exact amount of refund or credit will not be calculated until your order actually ships.  In the event of price fluctuation between now and ship date, I think they'd use the ship date as the cutoff point and determine actual sales price on that date.

So, I'm not expecting to do any hard set calculations until I see the item ship.

yep  this is why I am working on my sept 20th delivery

I had deliveries on

11-14    it may be able to get a coupon but not a credit (not sure) since it is currently the lowest price.
11-08    it also may be able to get a coupon but not a credit I think the coupon would be 400
10-08    it did get a coupon generated for 368
10-08    it did get a coupon generated for 683
08-08    it owes me a 114 btc refund.   ------- I am fighting for this.


I am waiting on a late order  the t17e  order would give me 865 credit-refund it should have shipped on the 10th.

I suspect  a lot were ordered and bitmain may be delaying them  or I am just paranoid.

i posted the s9k order as it is established that they owe me.

i redacted it somewhat.

i have t17e order and they say there is a 865 difference in price it is past due on shipping. i have screen shot and pdf of it for records.
