I sent them the difference in price as soon as order shipped according to the chart they sent me to figure out how much I am owed for my own reference as I asked for reference so I can keep track of all my orders
Then they said you are owed according to chart in credit or refund if you want refund we need bitcoin addrss
Then I sent my bitcoin address and asked to refund the amount politely and to confirm once it’s processed
It’s been crickets since then 2.5 days to be exact

Basically I been in contact since nov 7th this is the summary of the convos

I emailed and asked about status of my order and inquiried about coupon /refund /credit
Replied to me with a chart and saying when the order ships I can get refund or credit according to chart
Emailed them back said it shipped in the meantime before they answered and asked how can I get credit or refund
Replied credit can be applied towards new purchase with PayPal or if I choose refund to provide bitcoin address
Emailed them back saying I choose refund and I’ll combine it with my coupons and other funds to place another order
Waited two days emailed them again saying please refund order # according to chart provided by them I am owed 853$ and if they could please refund as offered and gave my bitcoin address and asked for a follow up or confirmation once processed
Been 2.5 days without any communication
Will probably follow up tomorrow just gotta figure out how to get a reply and move the ball forward
Have 2 more s17e due to ship out with credits of 800 and 750 usd

Good follow up every third day or so. As always be polite and professional.  Refer  to this thread as I think if they see multiple people here it is a good incentive for them to fix issues.

They updated my invoice to show price from November 8 price update email. No coupon still. Seems they are ignoring original information that stated coupons would be based on price within 10 days after shipping as pricing has already changed again since their November 8 email.

This is why I am advising everyone to screen shot all orders not yet shipped and keep for a reference,

Somewhere someplace  I read a we ( bitmain) reserve the right to change terms of any and all coupons.  I am looking for it.

BTW my 2x t17e are now 5 days past shipping date.

Either 11th or 12th point whatever the last one is I believe maybe wrong but I think I seen it there

The invoice they give you also has new and old price so there is a track record at least mine did once it shipped

One tip (I got burned on this-mostly my fault to trust too much):

Ignore the total number of $ savings possible that Bitmain put on each miner's page, it is inaccurate (at the moment).
Instead, simply amplify the current listed price by 0.3-this is the max $ number of coupons that you can use.
I believed the posted max coupon value, so chose a wrong coupon (got dinged by $20-40, not a biggie).
Getting the exact coupon $$ right would allow you to do the optimal "combo of coupons" to use.
Also, always start with large coupons where they are applicable.

PS i hope everyone knows that you can use multiple coupons now as long as they are of the same category (like "order" coupons).

not sure but why not sell the coupon for 132 you could get 132 easy.

368+132 = 500 you are 20 bucks better off. i think   🤔 you can get 132 for that coupon.

as for me getting a credit i don’t expect to see it for a few more days.  i will ask them on tues for info if they have not paid it.

Selling your coupons should be done in the marketplace here using an escrow.

As of today no movement on my t17e's   they are now 7 days past  the 1-10 dates.

100th x 7 = 700th x .00001915 = 0.013405 loss of btc  for me and my partners.

And this order is due for a 865 usd refund.

Have you actually tried that and got it to work ? i am not sure about the new coupons but I have used a dozen of coupons, i was never able to use 2 coupons on a single item, i highly doubt it's possible now, but i will take your words for it.

He is a scammer, I did some cleaning and digging in the digital good board today, rest assure that 99% of them are scammers and will never use escrow, the easiest way to know a scammer is if their topic is locked/self-moderated , unless they are very highly trusted members, if philipma1957 for example has a locked topic then he will be an exception.

Have you actually tried that and got it to work ?

Yes, I got $480 off of $1599 S17pro (using $368+$150 coupons combo, "lost" $38 from the max benefit). I should have used 150+150+172 instead, though.

Once you are presented with an order window where you can also see your coupons, click (or mouse over) a small question mark by the word "Coupons", a secondary window (in yellow) would pop up.
The detailed explanation is there, but basically, you can use multiple coupons (up to max, which is 30% of the listed miner price) AS LONG as coupons are of the same type ("order" OR "sale" or "rebate").
The type of coupon is written on the body of coupon itself.

as to purchase of a coupon
i self mod my sales threads 🧵.

i never lock them unless the items are sold or no longer for sales.

If you lock a thread and are looking to sell not allowing conversations in public in many cases you are a risky seller.

during spring in 2018 i escrowed the sale of 300 coupons. many for the same guy.

i would never send btc first to buy a coupon. i would tell people i want an escrow.

this thread is more about dealing with bitmain and getting proper refunds. credits , coupon discount etc.
it is also about using your coupon correctly.

altough i guess one could argue that selling one of your multiple coupons does belong in this thread.

Phill, if you bought any gear after the price difference has been  credited to you then it should have been deducted from that gear price, this is what happened to me when i bought T17e dec batch, i had to pay less than the total amount , there was some btc balance in my account and it could have only come from those S9ks.

As for the coupons, i wish we could trade them here, i am looking to buy coupons but it's impossible to do business in the market place now, 99% of those sellers are scammers.
