I think that time-constricted 10% coupons that I got are mostly useless, especially since there is not much to use them on considering just 5 mo (and with laate jan shipping more like 4 mo) until halving.

 and trying to use the 275  along with an 81 dollar coupon on a t17

mine were straight $150 coupons - only restrictions are that order had to be over $500 to use them.

The 10% coupons are for the T17 and T17E purchases that have been shipped at end December.

They have face values of either $67 or $140 of the ones I have seen. And they expire 31st Jan

all expire in 26 days.

I also have a 275  credit

which they say I have and are yet to post it.

My goal is to buy a t17  using the 140 coupon and the 275 credit

If they do it and ship it I will be square with them.

Assuming my s17 pro ships  between jan 11-20

With luck  by the end of the month  I will have  2 units a t17 and a s17 pro.

making me squared up with them.

Might as well use the $41 one as you'll only end up with being able to use 10%  of the value of the final price of the T17 after you take the credit off, which will be about $543 so $54.30 credit on any of the 10% vouchers. Sell the others.

the 10% "of order" sucks - I miss the days where the coupon was good as long as it was not more than 50% of cost.

Yeah, my best coupon back in the days was a 400 USD coupon for the Antminer S2,
which was my second gear after a S1 unit.

S1 + S2 combo was a perfect kit for home mining..

my best were 3 x 420 coupons good for up to 50% got them around March 2018, used them on S9i's

I got an email follow up about the 275 credit I thought I had due.

I was told I had been given  a 1139 credit and a 114 refund which is true.
I was told this was all I was entitled to.

That the 275 credit I wanted for my newest purchase had been included in my 1139 credit.

I said I would check  my records.

I reviewed every purchase I made from August to Dec.

I added subtracted and  I have come to the conclusion.  That the 1139 credit did include my  275 adjustment I still thought was due to me.

So at this time bitmain  fully  credited me all due to me

and fully refunded all due to me..

They  owe me 1 s17 pro due to ship jan 11- 20.

all in all

all s9k      have been good gear.                 4
every t17  has been good gear.                 2 or 3
every t17+ has been better then good.      only  1
every s17 has been good gear.                  about 3  purchased
every s17 pro has been better then good.  about 16 purchased by me and partners

the 2 17e's suck they use a lot of power. and were late.

As much as I don't like what bitmain does in general if they send my the final s17 pro in a week or 2  I would give them a  9 of 10 rating for the feb 2019 to feb 2020 time period.

The day I asked for an update they said it was approved and pushed to finance team and to still wait patiently. The credit's been removed from my account balance and still waiting. They must be waiting for a bigger run still.

on the 6ht of Jan, I have my reminder pop-up that it has been 1 month exactly since I have been promised that I will have my refund of overpayment done by this date.

I have emailed to enquire about the refund as it has been 1 month and got this:

and now waiting patiently to see as already I have been delayed 11 days (9 workings days) above the initial 1 month.
guess they are hoping BTC will rally more.

this is the 1st refund, waiting for the 2nd refund reminder to pop-up to email them again to see how long they will delay that one.

You can sell them, but they don't worth much unfortunately, the average price for these coupons in China is about 15-20% of their face value, so each of these coupons are worth about a $100-$140.

Also there is a problem with these large value coupons, they only make sense for large orders due to the 10% rule, for example see below

Here is an attempt to buy 1*Antminer T17e - 53TH/s

1-Using a 140$ coupon



2-Using a 175$ coupon



Basically the same discount regardless of the coupon value, so a 689$ coupon is only worth it for an order that is above $3060, because for anything less than that, buying a 306$ coupon for 45-60$ would give you the same discount.

I wish that they would send my final unit the s17 pro  I would then be fully caught up and squared away with them.

I would consider buying a t17+ 58th due in feb if they would only square me up on the s17 pro.

Update s17 pro on its way from, malaysia due the 17 of jan.

this will have me fully settled with bitmain.

The diff will be under 8%  Some time this evening.

So things are looking better for mining.

yeah she is stable.  antibiotics seem to be helping her.

I am also sick just not as bad as her.

Kind of puts all this into prospective.  It is nice to play with the asics and the other gear, but your health of yourself and your family is pretty much priceless. It is far more important then this is.
  
I just woke up to cough and hack and etc. So I went to website as no-one is home and I can not sleep. I will visit the wife in hospital tomorrow.

My local hospital has 215 beds out of 284 filled with people with respiration infections. Nurses were telling me it is the worst they have ever been. In terms of flu/pneunomia etc.
