But they say that PayPal blocked payments to over 100,000 performers. I don't know how correct this number is (read, they might be somewhat exaggerating things in this department), but even if it is close to reality, it is highly unlikely that these performers will start to use Bitcoin as a payment option all at once

Considering paypal has always been doing bad things for their customers and why people are looking a way out, there is no surprise that they stopped working with pornhub and I am 99% sure they will go bankrupt soon. Honestly just bitcoin would be fine for pornhub if they want to add in crypto currency (I remember they had it, did they remove it?) so there is really no way they could actually not help us get more known. Pornhub is literally the biggest porn website in the whole world and the amount of help they will get from adding crypto is not as big as crypto getting help from pornhub the biggest porn website.

Since paypal, pornhub's payment processor pulled their services off to pornhub paying their performers there should be an alternative which in this case Tether is the best fit. Tether pegged 1 for 1 in USD dollar that makes it just a bit different from a real dollar produced by paypal. What I think pornhub did wrong is they use Verge coin for alternative rather than having the most famous of all,widely known and accessible coin, Bitcoin, I'm not sure what they have seen on Verge.
