Ah Pornhub, one of the greatest innovators out there.    If Paypal don't make that money then that's their loss. I'm not sure how much of people that actually pay for Pornhub is familiar with cryptos, but they'd probably welcome this change. Paypal isn't exactly that secure since it can still be linked to your bank account. Imagine people finding out what your kinks are, better pray it's mostly vanilla.

That is a fun take on things, if the payment processors are not accepting or supporting porn then they are against women rights   The term sexist is thrown around a lot and if the porn industry is facing those kind of restrictions from payment processors then they can start accepting BTCitcoin and more over i am not comfortable purchasing any service with any of these processors and i would rather use BTCitcoin. Yesterday I had read that TRX seemed will be an alternative payment at pornhub, whether it was true or not, but if it did happen it would seem to be something good. imagine payment with TRX, fast transactions and low fees haha.

Like what i see on twitter when Justin talk about TRX can be payment for premium membership in Pornhub. I think that rumour will really happen especially if justin who said it by himself. I think more adoption no matter in what business, will be good for the coin itself. they already picked Verge but it won't hurt to have move crypto accepted on pornhub. its best if they just have the atomic swapping there for payment. some people who only have btc would seem to find it difficult instead. btc is the common coin we have, if they mean adoption they should accept most of the widely used coins. atomic swapping will help them more i don't know if it needs license for having it on their website though.

This goes show how more and more service providers are getting to realize that crypto is the easy way out. Also, if i were to be a customer for such websites and looking to get premium subscriptions, i would rather use crytpocurreincies than link such websites to my bank account

If I'm not mistaken, this type of porn site has millions of users around the world. Pornhub is very popular, especially in America.

Paypal's withdraw support can be seen as an advantage. Pornhub should evaluate cryptocurrencies. Especially privacy coins would be an excellent step for this. Zcoin and Monero are quite suitable cryptocurrencies for this.

I hope Pornhub will set an example for other competitors, and they will all begin to accept cryptocurrencies.

I was under the impression porn has always been against Paypal's terms but they hadn't enforced it in this case. Now they have.

Though crypto makes more sense, there's a possibility they'll be rebuffed by our very own quasi Paypals like Coinbase and Bitpay and pretty much any other crypto service that interacts with banks. American banking seems to like making pious calls and they'll be right in the firing line if they make themselves known.

Perhaps Pornhub will need to come up with some type of info sheet to make sure people can cash out without any trouble should they want to.

infact pornhub itself is late because many nsfw sites on the past were now the first to support cryptos as one of thier payment gateway and so far its been a succes because crypto is still booming and as of today  , many platforms including the nsfw one's are still adding and developing the crypto use but this cant guarantee an easy or safe payment method because anything online has a risk  , its only up to the handling and to preference of user if what payment medium he thinks he is more comfortable .

Logically right, bitcoin can be process between two wallets and there's no additional services that's needed, unlike Paypal that serves as mediator of those payment process. I think this move from Paypal will open a much wider opportunities for cryptocurrency. Use stablecoin such as Tether. It provides a stable value in relation to fiat currencies. Privacy is not so important since they are using Paypal beforehand, so tbh any crypto will do as cryptocurrencies would provides some sort of privacy, at least better than Paypal.

Are you deeply invested in this coin or something? I'm seriously asking as Ripple (the legal entity behind XRP) is essentially not much different from PayPal (they are in bed with bankers and don't hide it). Switching to using XRP could eventually turn out as disastrous as it now happened with PayPal. There's no knowing if their top-brass don't quite like porn in general or Pornhub specifically. They must go with truly decentralized, censorship-resistant coins, and that is Bitcoin, end of story

I have not used pornhub as there are other tube sites which better interface as i do not like their dark interface nor availed any service and since they accept models to perform they will be paying them through traditional methods and even if they start using crypto to payout you need to start teaching them the process but why you think they will be using XRP  . Low fees low value centralized current and is that the reason . The safest is always bitcoin and there are much better wallets to store or exchange your coins but that is not the case with XRP and when you talk about low fees dogecoin is much better than XRP.

Just pick fiat. Direct depositing into your bank means you can instantly spend it, and you don't need to jump around hoops to manage your crypto wallet, and then sell it to be able to spend it, so there's really no need for that.

There are viable workarounds and practical alternatives

For example, you can order a Bitcoin payment card, and then you will be able to do everything you habitually do with your regular fiat payments without dancing around all that presumably arcane stuff like setting up a "personal portal" and what not. For fuck’s sake (pun intended), this is what Pornhub may already have it in their package for its "models". And as I said before, PayPal does everything right, so more power to them. It will only spur up the development of easier ways to deal with crypto. Porn industry is way bigger and penetrating (another pun intended) than online gambling, and it could be a real game-changer for crypto

I think a crypto exchange could utilize its connections to make a better tamper-proof solution for payments. With the minimum friction possible, somebody could receive crypto payments and send them to his bank account. Then service providers like PHb could utilize this to send crypto payments, avoid the risk of being shut down, and also continue providing their service uninterrupted. Uphold tries to do this but to be honest I don't really like how they're lying about their fees, hiding them in exchange rates.
