Hi everyone!

I'm writing from official account representing Revain project

We don’t understand the reason for scam warning in our official thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2064640.0

Two accounts (the topic starter ‘bicork’ and ‘RevainSupport’) received negative trust and after that the scam warning has appeared. We have our official account since ICO, Aug’17. We don’t ask users to invest in us and we don’t do trading with anybody. Revain account exist simply for posting news about the project.

We also don’t understand the accusation of user Lauda as we never ‘hired fraudulent marketing group and spam inviting everyone’. The event this user referring to is the contest we had last May in which users had to invite their friends to Revain Telegram group and discuss crypto topics there. Overall, pretty standart and common contest to boost user activity in our Telegram group. Here is the link to the rules: https://t.me/revainorg/420.

Why this scam warning was added? Thank you.

The warning is shown as you have a red tag from a DT here, by looking at it, it seems to be for using shady marketing techniques to bump your projects exposure.

Anyways, just a tip, it's hard convincing a kitten to remove it's tag.

Thank you for your answer. Well, people can't just throw out unsubstantiated accusations here or can they? We provided the proof (rules of this contest)

You're using a spam/bumping service to promote your (very) dubious project - that's against forum rules.

Edit: Tag added.

PIA went evil: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5203968.msg53160131#msg53160131 Unofficial & Uncensored SYSCOIN thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4748031.0    Do not trust Yobit/HitBTC/BiteBTC/coinsbit/p2pb2b/Mercatox/C-cex/Poloniex/WEX/KuCoin/LiveCoin/TheRockTrading/Bitfinex/ADAB/Okex/TradeSatoshi/Gate.io/Changelly/Freewallet.org/crex24 scam exchanges or ICO's by known scammers like HashCoins/Ambisafe/Bountyhive - they WILL scam you! The problem is you hired a professional spammer service to bump your thread that is largely associated with scam projects. While I wouldn't leave you a negative rating over that, Lauda felt it was necessary, so you'll have to take your gripe up with them. I did leave you a neutral for it I see after Lauda. I also explained to you the problem back in June:

Hello, thank you for your feedback!

We are really concerned about what you said. Can you please give us more details in PM? Why do you think this are bots and they are connected to this bumping service? Because they all have the same time?

I'll just give you the details here so everybody understands what I'm talking about.

These accounts:

and now (after I left my comment warning what was happening)

all post in the same threads as they are part of a thread bumping service for hire. They are all run by the same person. Threads they post in (have been hired by) include:

CryptoMania Slots
AZBIT - Blockchain Investment Banking
Verasity - Attention-Based Platform for Video Rewards
AMANPURI – Ultimate exchange
YPTOSpace 🔥🔥🔥 A global ecosystem around Cryptocurrency!
TeleCoin - annonymous p2p cryptocurrency]

Take a look at each thread. You will see the same accounts in all 5 projects mindlessly talking to each other with one or two lines replies, asking meaningless questions and then answering themselves.

Look at this last example. You can see when they stopped paying for spammers (excuse me, I mean "thread bumpers") around June 1st and the project manager just starts bumping the thread by themselves.

Maybe nobody informed you but somebody within your project hired a service to bump your thread. This kind of behavior not only encourages spam on the forum but is indicative of a less-than-honest project that has to resort to creating artificial buzz to boost its visibility.

To be honest with you, its a tactic primarily used by scammers. Which is why I warn people from investing in projects that hire them. It's a telltale sign that something is wrong with a project.

Just for fun, here's one account that forgot what thread he was in and started asking questions about a media hosting project when he was in an exchange project thread:

hi guys, tell me, what are the main advantages of AMANPURI? How can you compete with such a giant as YouTube?

I guess running 40-50 different accounts can be confusing sometimes.

Why would you resort to such a stupid measure? We don't really care if that's the standard for Telegram. We're not Telegram.

Hello

Lauda gave our account this rating in May, a month before this. His judgment is not related to your complaint.

It's just very weird we suddenly got this 'scam warning' for making a fair contest for our users in Telegram group months ago. Heck, we don't even use Bitcointalk much, but somehow got this. It's very sad.

What are the ways to remove this?

Thank you.

The only way that the red trust rating can be removed is if the user who gave it to you removes it. There are NO other options.

The likelihood of Lauda removing a negative trust has historically been very very VERY small. Your options at this point are to "politely" PM then *ONCE*, presenting your case and then wait. If you hear nothing or they say NO, then you are basically shit out of luck Undecided

Admins will NOT remove the rating.

As for the "scam warning" on your thread(s)... that will show as long as someone on DT1 or DT2 (Default Trust) has left you a negative rating. It only shows for users who are not logged in (and possibly newbies). For instance, I don't see that warning unless I use a browser window where I'm not logged into the forum.

So, theoretically, if Lauda were no longer on DT... the warning would not show, regardless of whether or not they had left your negative trust. A lot of people have been trying for a long time to make this happen... The result: http://IsLaudaStillOnDT.tk/
