Why Consider All Altcoins Bad

Many altcoins are useless and their use case are not good enough, this is not the only problem affecting altcoins, team members have a big role to play in the life of a coin and if they aren't pro enough it will fail

The question is why do some people generalize all Altcoins as bad? considering there are over 3000 of them out there. One would not have the time to go through each project one by one. to analyze the project. team etc everything behind each crypto project.
There has to be some project out there under good intentions. Not all projects could be a scam. I admit I only have a top 4 i consider when it comes to best coins. But yet many should be decent at least honest projects out there. Afterall we do need more projects. more quality projects out there in order for crypto to succeed.

There are reasons, both rational and irrational, to why people think that alts are bad in general.

Obviously it doesn't help to generalise anything, and the alt market is no exception. However ICOs have always had a bad reputation given the sheer amount of unregulated ones out there, and ICOs have injected the most variety of coins into the market during the 2017-2018 period than any other founding method.

There are certain projects that are legitimate and have long term aspirations, but it's not wrong to assume most are simply short term money making tools for their founders.

Many people think that altcoin is a scam because they have lost money investing in altcoin that doesn't have a good developer. Investing in cryptocurrency has a high risk and that risk will increase if investing in altcoin but we can minimize that risk if we invest in altcoin that already has a product or altcoin that has a large market cap value and large daily transactions

Of course there are a lot of promising altcoins.For myself, when choosing an investment, I choose projects according to certain criteria.If I see that the project really solves some specific problems, or will be very interesting for a wide range of people-it is a clear sign to make an investment.So there is no time to be discouraged at all)

Maybe we are dealing with a low qualification of investors, or lack thereof at all, as a result we make premature conclusions that all altcoins lead to losses, it’s not so, who worked in the stock market knows that a bearish trend can last for years, leading to the ruin of even experienced investors , and in order to save money in such conditions two things are needed - risk management and investment strategy.

Indeed. lot's of project in 2018 are totally trash but we can't tell all of them are not good. we can see there are project until now still updating and running. why? because of interested investors that fully agree on what they are aiming. @Jocuserious you are right that cmc top 20 list of altcoins are great and good to invest until now and the next years. A lot of projects now are coming and we are hoping that we will see more in upcoming years especially in 2020.

that can't be a strong reasone to determine all altcoins are bad coins. have you realized the fact if we are on the volatile market and that makes the price is not stable. I think you must think again about that because that doesn't make sense to call volatility as the main reason why altcoins are bad.

THe price of altcoin will never be stable because people are buying altcoins for trades. And ofcourse if an altcoins moreover with low volume, the price would be so agile because many people are buying it just for sell it with higher price. So i think it's almost impossbile for altcoin to having a stable price except USDT and other similiar coins based on fiat currency

Good concepts are sometimes not in accordance with the roadmap that has been well planned, but by looking at the team working on the project I think it will be more thorough, with their experience and good name there will certainly be more investors who trust, and also with synchronization between developers and investors, of course, will make the project run long

price movements are always changing in the market and also the level of rapid movement makes people sometimes trapped in losses. but keep in mind that not all altcoins are bad because there are still some of altcoins that can benefit and also help in terms of existing technology

We cannot blame them actually, honestly sometimes I saw most of altcoins are bad but I do see some projects are good and worth to spend my time and effort. Probably altcoins and other projects cannot excel because of the bearish market perhaps we can see its potential as the bullish market comes.

Not all altcoin is bad and undeveloped and we can see a list of the 10 best altcoins and can still give good returns and it all depends on you how to analyze and choose it.
and even though many new altcoins end up with Trash or fraudulent coins, that doesn't mean you judge that all Altcoin is bad, and altcoin is good and bad depends on your intelligence in assessing and doing research about the coins you choose.

I think the majority don't like Altcoins because they don't bring something to the table significant that Bitcoin can't do. altcoins were just invented so people could mine them and try to get rich following in Bitcoin's steps. actually altcoins bring nothing to the table except an experimental testing ground for changes to be merged into Bitcoin. further, we are having trouble as is trying to get 1 digital currency to be understood and accepted by the mainstream. adding the dozens of altcoins into that would make them dismiss bitcoin and all digital currency altogether.

I haven't seen any people here say that all the altcoins are bad. But one thing is similar which is they are saying that most of the altcoins are bad. And it's primarily because of how they run their projects and just a copy of another project that didn't even work. When it comes to investing, sticking in to the top 50 is the best choice.

Not all altcoins are bad but a disproportionate number of them are and that is the problem, years ago people really believed that altcoins were going to help the market of cryptocurrencies to gain the adoption that we were looking for, but now we understand that the adoption that we want will come from bitcoin and bitcoin alone.

So most of the projects that we see in the market are not really going to have any affect in the long term and are only going to affect you if you decide to invest in them, this will not be that bad but we know that the majority of those projects are scams so people have lost any reason to think positively about most altcoins.

While we are finding growth in bitcoin and se top cryptocurrency at the same time we are not seeing growth on the complete altcoins market. If the growth applies to all coins then we can invest on most of the coins and make profit out of it buddy.

We cannot blame them actually, honestly sometimes I saw most of altcoins are bad but I do see some projects are good and worth to spend my time and effort. Probably altcoins and other projects cannot excel because of the bearish market perhaps we can see its potential as the bullish market comes.

You guys both said well but crypto a huge enterprises and having more project won't be any reason for crypto market not to succeed. Meanwhile, the reason some people believe altcoin market to be back is because 80% of the altcoin project offer exact the same product while some altcoin team are incompetent in what they are doing but they are in it to steal from investors and run away.
