Why Consider All Altcoins Bad

Altcoins produced without a particular technology should definitely disappear. However, generalization, like all altcoins, will be an error. There are coins with great technologies in terms of processing speed and security features. For example, HOX Coin has attracted a lot of attention since it is a smart contract project recently. In addition, binance exchange issued very good altcoins on the ieos.

It's an individual opinion so to say. Some people from their loss or scam experience tend to hate on similar experiences. If I bought any altcoin in 2018 and held to date I will tag all altcoin as bad because I have lost money from my purchase. Just yesterday alone, money has been made by people. Classification comes from bitter experience people have here.

Altcoins are not bad but a good number of then are and it scares a lot of people aware from them. Many have ended in exit scams, price manipulation and so on.

There has to be some project out there under good intentions. Not all projects could be a scam. I admit I only have a top 4 i consider when it comes to best coins. But yet many should be decent at least honest projects out there. Afterall we do need more projects. more quality projects out there in order for crypto to succeed.

To be honest, I only hear about those projects that the community is making noise about.If you don't talk about an altcoin,then of course I don't know about it.

Well for me altcoin is considered bad because some of them is having a hard time to recover when their price has dump. Some of the top altcoin has the ability to recover fast because of the investors that is continuously supporting those top altcoins unlike those altcoin that is below. They are having a hard time to rise up because of the lack of support of investors.

Not all altcoins are bad. Maybe that's the dialogue of someone who lost so much on trading  and investment. There are still some alts that has potential and still ongoing development.

I'm personally not of the opinion that all altcoin are bad. It's an obvious fact that majority of altcoin we have in the space are scam projects whose promoters are only interested in enriching themselves and cashing out once they have their target. I still believe that there are few great altcoin projects that are worth investing. My risk appetite is far low at the moment and that's why I'll stick with ethereum as my major altcoin holding.

This is mostly based on assumptions of the rumors around or what some of them have experienced in their early investment in altcoins, because the top nine altcoin on coinmarketcap are not bad for investment both long and short investors. Although the main reason behind the capitalization of altcoin being bad is because most of them doesn't have a good working product which brings about the drastic fall in price.

It is not that all altcoins are bad but how will you define when you have 90% of them being trash. People will literarily regard them as being bad. About analyzing a project, I discovered that many of them are just repetition of an already existing project with little or no addition of new features and this is exactly where the problem comes from and I begin to wonder what exactly they all intend to achieve. There were sometimes that I do believe some dev always look for a project that has history of raising good money from ICO and they will also launch similar project.

I'm not a total bitcoin maximalist but a very close to being one so I see maybe 1 of every 100 altcoins as important to the economy and able to achieve something. The other 99/100 are just not needed and they copy and repeat the ideas from other projects with a small twist like a different mining algorithm. This is only done to make more money from people who weren't able to mine the original and think they can succeed with the newest clone.

It is just a perception and the major factor is long downtrend that has put most of the altcoin holders in despair and they feel guilty that they should have stayed in only btc or eth but i think it is part of the game that market plays and personally i am very confident that all good coins will be back sooner or later so it is like the test of temprament for coin investors and hodlers that will ultimately be fruitful it is just about patience for now.

People are saying most of the alts are bad, but I think it is not the fault of altcoin, actually it is their own fault, they are too much lazy for doing proper analysis before investing.
As an investor, if you want to make profit, you'll have to have the minimum analyzing skills of when where and in which coin to invest in.

It is not required to create more crypto for it to become successful, having those legit coins out there is enough to say that crypto was booming. The problem is that there are a lot of projects created that doesn't give a real value that is why a lot of them fails. Also, if it has no supporters or there are no people patronizing it, it will probably fail because it lacks on the adoption. Maybe if the coin or alts are good enough and it generates a lot of users it will surely become successful.

I guess you have answered your question in a way. Generalization does not mean definitely that every entity fits that description but my little knowledge of statistics we can make a conclusion by just studying a sample of the population. That does not mean every entity fits our description but it's likely that most of them are. hence most altcions turn out to be worthless after raising of funds.

Only one reason that crossed my mind: Because people who think that have ever suffered a loss or bad experience with altcoin chosen. In fact, there are a lot of potential altcoins that are very profitable, assuming the top ten coinmarketcaps deserve that title. So it is not fair if it is generalized and equated with new coins or tokens which have not been proven to be of quality that are even made with just playing without a clear purpose.

Some altcoins already gained their reputation when it comes to the market so meaning to say not ALL altcoins are bad, maybe some people will say it, it is because they are fed up with scam projects or maybe dead projects who didn't deliver their platform in a given timeframe but there are some that are still hidden that is about to be discovered once they made a difference.

Bad and unproven are too different things, people just stop caring about new coins because they dont have time to examine the details.   There is nothing wrong with innovation and efforts to improve protocols, the original BTC wasnt monetized is maybe why so many are skeptical.

Crypto has so much given loads of people loads of things to look at and so much analysis to look into when the talk of crypto and altcoins in particular comes up, you first consider the money involved and how its going to be invested before or after returns. Altcoins are always not seen as great investment project assets just because the ideas behind the projects are not properly communicated. It will make things look like altcoins aren’t actually good but in reality, I do not consider altcoins as bad.

The majority of bad words of altcoin comes from those who were choosing the wrong project. This is a common thing when those who are getting profit will give a good review about altcoin while at the same time those are suffering the lost will give a bad review. This is something that can't be argued as totally depends on the personal experience.

If you can take time going deeper and properly investigate with projects that you are eyeing to invest both your money and your time, the chance of
getting good outcome still possible. Alts are bad to those who thinks that this industry is the quick passage to gain easy money, the realities behind
this business always needs to have great educational background, learning the principles and wisely playing with every market movements are very
important to become successful and see the benefits and not just the bad things or the risky part of this business.
