I found this new service[1] on Binance's pay merchants page. I'd like to hear your thoughts before listing them if anyone has used them before and for those who didn't, if you can't see any items listed, it's probably because of your adblocker. [1] https://www.card-wow.com/

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's
computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be
reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Always the same shops from one site to another.
Thinking about it, there isn't much innovation in this niche. They provide the same cards with the same shops compared to 'traditionnals' websites where you pay in fiats.
You can say the innovation is you can pay with cryptos... humm, it costs cheaper to pay with a local currency, so if the innovation is to pay higher it's not really interesting... unless you like to pay higher... Bitrefill stands out from the crowd with its cashback system, but still.
The industry seems saturated nowadays and there's not much new to provide to users.
I'm going to sound like a hypocrite because I use Bitrefill but I'm just making an observation

Update: It looks like Bitrefill announced the release of their eSIM service yesterday[1][2]. Unfortunately, and as mentioned by @_act_ these eSims don't have a phone number, meaning you can't use them to receive calls or texts (which IMO should've been their first priority here).
It's strange that I am getting 404 Not Found error on first link you posted, but I can find them and open on their main page I think I saw other services offering e-sim cards for Bitcoin and other crypto (for example silent.link), so this is nothing special for Bitrefill.

They must've removed the page. The link was working just fine when I posted it. Some competition is always good, I guess. Have you tried Silent.link before? There's also eSimWay which I made a thread about a couple of days ago if you want to look into it: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5464321.0;topicseen

Hi,
I will be in the US soon and I would love to use some Bitrefill gift cards for my trip. Two questions:
1. You guys got some ideas for gift cards that either work directly in the store and don't need an US app on your phone? Especially restaurants or food. I would like to print the qr code, walk in the store and get my food. 2. Did you try the Groupon gift card? Does it work?
And maybe one more off-topic question: are there any kyc-free bitcoin atms with low fees? Are there kyc-free atms at all?
Thanks.

1. If you use bitrefill, you can see it mentioned on the top whether the cards work on physical stores or just online. 2. I couldn't answer that. I haven't. For the BTMs, I know there are some kyc free ones, just not sure if they are in the U.S. but you can check that information, along with the fees on: https://coinatmradar.com/country/226/bitcoin-atm-united-states/

It depends on the restaurant. A Ruth Chris opened near where I live and they took the printout no problem: https://www.bitrefill.com/us/en/gift-cards/ruths-chris-steakhouse-usa/As does California Pizza Kitchen: https://www.bitrefill.com/us/en/gift-cards/california-pizza-kitchen-usa/With Fast Food it depends on the person behind the counter. But.... Famous Daves: https://www.bitrefill.com/us/en/gift-cards/famous-daves-usa/ had to call a manager and someone else over for us to use it. I told them it's OK, I'm Dave but they didn't care.... As for the ATMs there are separate posts around here to discuss, a lot depends on where you are. (i.e. Las Vegas, has more BATMs that have very light KYC vs BATMs in Florida) -Dave

At the moment Bitrefill has 5% BTC back on prepaid virtual visa cards. US only. There is a 1% fee to buy the card so I don't know why they just didn't get rid of that on give 4% back but nobody asked me :-) https://www.bitrefill.com/us/en/gift-cards/virtual-prepaid-visa-usa/Did some testing, like their prepaid MasterCard: If you try to buy it with an IP out of the US or with a known VPN IP it will fail. If you try to activate it with an IP out of the US or with a known VPN IP it will fail. Once you get past that it does seem to work wherever I tested it. It is better then nothing, but still not great. -Dave

It is better then nothing, but still not great. If it interest you, " Coinsbee" have reintegrated (My prepaid center) wich provide Global MasterCards !!

It's from a company called perfectgift.com The card number itself is issued through Sutton Bank. It's also good since if there are more options that are out there, services like Bitrefill & Coinsbee & others will be forced to keep their prices reasonable and perhaps come up with better options for cards. -Dave

Thank you I was thinking about the Master Card It is the VISA that you have used outside the United States ? Neither card bitrefill sells is *supposed* to work out of the US. With that being said there has been some discussion on reddit that they do work in limited instances in other countries, but I have not been able to get them to work. A few months ago when I got some and gave them to other forum members to test they did not work for them. -Dave

It is possible to use them in some cases if you change IP address to US using VPN, but there is no guarantees this will work. I think they have different gift cards available in different countries, at least that was the case last time I purchased gift cards from them. Thebitcoincompany.com works in similar way.

Bitrefill? I don't believe so. It's the case for Netflix, Nike, etc. but if you're referring to their VCC then no. Coinsbee does have worldwide cards but unlike Bitrefill, you'd have to verify your identity (as mentioned at the bottom of the page): https://www.coinsbee.com/en/My%2BPrepaid%2BCenter%2BMastercard-bitcoin

Maybe they changed something recently. I am 100% sure they had Google Play gift cards that worked in different countries (Germany for example), but I am checking now and they currently have only US based cards. Not sure if this was the case with other cards they are offering, or only for Google Play cards.

I guess you misunderstood me. I'm referring to the VCCs (virtual credit cards) and not to the gift cards like Google play and Netflix etc. I know that those are available in different regions, and I believe that's the case for pretty much every provider on the list.

Coinsbee is a scam. Just lost 7 USDT there trying to buy a Global Mastercard $5 value. This is how they work. Purchased on: https://www.coinsbee.comPost purchase got redirected to: https://myprepaidcenter.comCreated an account there, they ask for personal details. Upon trying to redeem the "code" they sent on mail, this got displayed: We apologize. We have identified an error on our side. Please contact customer service at 866-815-3034. Then the account created on myprepaidcenter.com became unable to login. This site only displays phone numbers with toll charges for support, so 90% of the people will not even bother calling in as it would cost more to make the call than the value of the stolen funds most of the time. Upon sending an email to the coinsbee.com support email help@coinsbee.com you get weird answers which basically point to "go to myprepaidcenter.com and cry there" TOTAL SCAM. Which makes me wonder how many shills there are in this thread who all merited and vouched for this Coinsbee.com scam. Here is the "code" they showed in the fake card on the site. It's blank. https://i.imgur.com/2zcxPrU.jpg

Nope, it's something on your side. Bitrefill and many other places use myprepaidcenter.com for their mastercard prepaid cards. Try a different browser. Also, they are US (possibly North America) only for some services. And they do block VPNs https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5208530.msg61853963#msg61853963Log out, log back in, try using a private browser window. Heck, even a MC I got from a class action lawsuit was run through the myprepaidcenter.com site. I also don't see that 866 number you gave on their site: https://myprepaidcenter.com/contactus-Dave
