Southampton just about a draw with Ings right infront of the box but the Crystal Palace's goalkeeper had a game saving deflection at the 6 minute mark into injury time.
They deserved the 3 pts this day.
Wilfred Zaha scored the only goal and almost put it away with 15 mins left to play but it was ruled offside.
There goes my saintly offer bet on Southampton to draw.

The leaderboard is up early this week, i think ralle14 has the best overall ranking after the first 9 games (from those who made their picks here in this thread), he has 6 correct, everyone else is with 5 or less, i too have 5. There are three guys just one short 8/9, which is pretty impressive. Is there a way to tell how many people are playing? Obviously, for SB they want 3k people playing to cover the weekly costs, to I always assumed we were getting that number.

I know for sure I appeared in the leaderboard in the first ones but never since.

I had just 6 correct this time around. I prefer to have a bad multimaster rather then another one where I am one hit away from money.

I also noticed that it has gotten much harder to get close to the money. We have more players participating or everybody just started predicting so much better. At least now the games are from known leagues and i don't have to waste time researching them.

You and me both I guess. I actually seemed to be doing really well until yesterday, as I mentioned, same points as JanpriX until it all went to hell starting with La Liga haha.

Always prefer to do really badly, law of mean and average means I should then keep my "good luck" for the big wins;)

But I don't know, I actually won it last round so maybe I'm getting better hahahaha...

We are in early rounds of soccer leagues so its could be not easy to have winners right now but after 2 or 3 rounds then surely we can predict some better results right now wait and watch is very good or going to with home teams is also not bad at all as mostly home teams doing good in early stages of new season.

That is where the trick lies and it is extremely rare that someone hit a win with all the strong teams to win but who knows.As you say it,it will bring you closer but even if you win the price will be shared with other persons as that is what most other people do.I like adding a few draws in my picks to spice things up a little bit and hoping to not share the prize if I win.

Heh, you said it my friend. Happy endings aren't always on the menu though, but yeah Lyon was a shitty bet to make I knew it, don't know why I still went for them, must be all that Champions League euphoria getting to their heads.
