I would've taken more underdogs if some of these teams don't have injured players. Also good to see Sheffield back in the mix after their first win.

Here are my picks and chose 3 draws including the Aston Villa match which I was waiting to see at the last minute if they would of removed it from the multimaster's schedule. As everybody has mentioned about it being postponed on the main thread when this week's was first released.




That's a whopping 1mln odd ticket & 1.56mln odds boosted.

Until rdbase showed up, we had two consensus picks, but now it's only one and that is Ajax. Other highly trusted teams are Watford, Leeds, Chelsea, Napoli, Tottenham and Liverpool (to my surprise) this week. Apart from Feyenoord losing being super likely^^, we have these uncovered outcomes: Benfica, Fulham, Gala all to win and the draw at Sheffield. 19% draws picked is quite high. Inter vs Juve will be fun, because it's the last game this week and just like us, people will have picked all outcomes, so the then leaders in the SB leaderboard will be super nervous I guess. I hope I am already out by then....or lead by 2

Welcome to the MM family Any order is fine basically, but.....

And I copied from tyK, so I guess this is the order he preferred.

....yes, I do have a preferred order and that is the one you can also see in the public table, because it's just the easiest to put the picks in. I normally add the games to the public table as soon as they have been published, so if in doubt, one can just copy them from there and then add the individual picks.

My first try here on this thread and sportsbet.io hopefully too many draws helps me for some better result.

Great, started slow but glad that they are punishing for the 2-0 defeat Hornets faced in Huddersfield home game just some 2-3 weeks ago. I still recall I had Watford win in MM round but Huddersfield messed up. It was the same game after which Hornets previous manager was sacked and they appointed Xisco as manager the next day.

8/15 games finished and with Aston Villa being postponed, 6 games remain and Turquinito is leading the pack with 6 correct picks, followed by Avirunes with 5:



There is probably one guy leading with 7 correct and some other guys in the hunt with 6, but it's looking good for Turquinito (and Avirunes) as of now, keeping my fingers crossed  

With buwaytress' late picks, for the first time since week 40 last year, we have no full consensus pick and only the second time ever.

My performance has been poor, but I wouldn't want to win a MM without Flamengo anyway, thats no real win for me then

I was surprised to see it end that way as I thought Mgladbach was going to win because right after Stuttgart scored their equalizer I turn around for a minute and see they are leading again soon there after.

As for the results on the leaderboard, there is a sole person with 6 wins (dia***) but as we all know one of ours Turquinito also has 6 correct selections but on the leaderboard it shows him with the same username with 5. So it did not update fully yet.

For the remaining matches I have them at all home wins, so we will see how that ends up at around this time tomorrow.
I don't have much high expectations on getting more than 8 correct in all.
Which won't be enough to reach the top of the leaderboard as we all know by now.

Awesome analysis as usual, my friend, and you're right. I wouldn't want to win MM without picking a Flamengo upset, so I think I can pooh pooh at this one, but good luck to Avi and Turquinito! Be nice to have another winner for 2021 from this thread!

Ikr it sucks when it happens but for those that picked Draw would be happy because of the penalty. No matter how good you are, things might not be the same as you predicted it to be. I dont even look statistics anymore for the MM, I selected mine with only pure intuition hence the reason I only get 2 correct picks lol

Ajax and Besiktas won so Turquinito should have 10 by now , lets just hope the person that have 9 dont end up having 11 right now. We only have two defenders on the pitch, who are arguably the worst defensive players in the league haha and they're not exactly giving good crosses in right now.

In my opinion, Thiago had a much better game compared to Trent. Man was basically everywhere on the pitch and handled the midfield well enough. Our biggest pitfall in that game is that our front three were not effective against Man Utd defenders. For Hendo and Fabinho, I'm not surprised with their performance. These guys are not natural central backs so they fact that they kept Man Utd attacks at bay is a plus for me.

I had Liverpool to win on this one. It was a bias pick because I'm a fan. Haha.

There were some users with a pretty good run in the middle of things (notblox1, Indymoney, Thibaw). Our very strong consensus games (18+) all held The average is ok-ish with 7.38, although this was quite an easy MM with how it unfolded, if that makes any sense.

The 2021 stats table:



Turquinito takes the lead here and is in pole position to take the 5BTC extra prize at the end of March, jk.

Trofo has found some form again, while a lot of veterans find themselves only to the very right of the table, including myself


See you next week with Flamengo back in action. They will play Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday next week, so I will go against them for sure, lol.
My guess is, that we will start the next MM with M'Gladbach vs Dortmund on Friday
