Guys we are talking a lot of times about "this project is scam" or "this project is amazing and soon moon" but sometimes scam project making a lot of x but amazing project making -90%. So what is for you good project? Which team and project is fake but making xx or team and project real but price making -90% and we should hold?

There are projects that failed to meet their goals but not all of them are scam. I only personally consider a project to be a scam if at the first glance, you can see that their goals are very unrealistic. Those sort of projects are created to fail. They are nothing but a way for the dev team accumulate and stole money from investors.

But not all scam projects have unrealistic goals, scammers are smart people and always have ideas to be able to attract investors to invest in the project, some projects are difficult to judge or arguably some projects that are made sometimes have realistic and difficult goals for us to assess whether this project will really run according to what has been determined. So, I personally better invest now in the top coins than in new projects.

A scam and a good project is a like, that is why it is difficult for us to determined a legitimate project nowadays that even we check the whitepapers and their website, we still ended up getting scammed that the team members didn't response when you try dm them. In my own opinion, to determine if it is a scam projects if they make promises that are too good to be true.

A fraudulent project a priori will not be able to do x. This is absurd.The market is very unpredictable due to its age.Therefore, it is difficult to predict anything. A lot of uncertainties.

Almost or let us just say that all projects do really looks promising so determining a scam project from good projects is really difficult for me. Scam projects just like the good ones do really look promising at first glance which proves the phrase "looks can be deceiving". But for me, I do have some points to check out for determining a scam project from the good ones. For me, a scam project is that really attractive because it do offer a really large reward or pay back that seems to be impossible to achieve given a span of time. Good project for me maybe short or long run but the plan or the flow of work is relevant and well managed and the reward as well as the goal is suitable or appropriate to take place. In short the plan is realistic and timely to be useful for the mankind in which it will surely attract investors because the project is well executed meaning it will surely get into the path of success. That is what I am just up into checking if a project is a scam project or a good one.

That's why I always treat crypto project as a games of chance since actually it's hard to tell which is legit and which of them is not since especially by now there are so many supposed to be good turn shit. But before on year 2017 we can merely point out the project is good since almost all follow their roadmap and get listed on the exchange they projected.

at the moment it is very difficult for us to get good projects because there are so many projects that are of poor quality. so it is difficult for us to distinguish projects that have quality and scam projects. but the best responses and arguments will continue to be shown by one of those who participated in the project even though the project eventually became a project scam.

I don't necessarily think that just because the demand for a coin goes down it should be rendered as a scam project.

What should be rendered as a scam is if there was a promise by the team in their whitepaper or roadmap that doesn't get fulfilled as time goes on, but instead the developers either deserting or abandoning the project after a period of time.

That should be what constitutes a scam, not just because you didn't make a profit off trading it.

You are talking about one of the most insidious problems in the market, for many investors as long as they get profits then the project is not a scam and if they lose money then the project is indeed a scam but that is not my point of view.

To me a project is a scam when the developers have no intention of fulfilling their promises to their investors regardless of whether or not you gain money, and to me a project is legitimate when the developers do everything they can to reach the goals they set for themselves even when they fail.

that doesn't make sense and i can't even understand if what you have been saying is correlating with the context. It's so simple to define what is the scam project and what is a good project right now.
Anything related to the non sense offering just like daily return, project that runs away with the money and something else should be defined as scam project.
The project with good utility usage can be defined as trusted project or good project.
The definition for both have very large definition depends on the situation.

Anyway, for years that I've been here, most of the scam that I encountered were those who hype in the community and the price becomes 'pump and dump' scheme, they will dump for many time and once they have too much investors that thinking they can still raise the price more they will dump and will never buy back and will never get back the price to normal and run away!

Scam projects is when the team are have no any idea when the investors candidate asking about the projects related questions.
If the projects is well prepared and don't have any intention for scamming they must be capable to answer any question realted to projects. So i think this thing is a core thing of choosing which project to involve

Still remember with scam project investing during ICOs is TOKENOMY or TEN, I bought on ICOs time with higher price about $0.2 and now price have drop lower under $0.02. I can't trust why price very cheap with success reached hard cap with TEN ICO and now never serious for listing coin with bigger market and burning coin supply to make TEN have higher price above ICOs.

Sorry for your loss, its really not a loss until you sell for 0.02$ when you bought at 0.2$, the best trick of buying new coins in bear market is never to buy at ICO price and wait till coin get listed on exchange, it will surely drop in price because of bear market

I don't remember the scam project that I joined, but I'm sure many of them scam projects in the past than a legit project. Some legit projects were listed in exchanges, but too bad some of the coins will slowly dying, maybe because of condition of the market or maybe lack of marketing. It is risky if you hold a new coin.

the reason why so many scam project is rising its because they can easily scam using crypto investment. They will create a website then they use profile of other people to attract investors, fake team, plagriaze whitepaper and so on.

A project that are only making halfway and then will leave you behind, which is in my stand point a scam project which is pretty obvious. While, on the other hand a successful project is the one who completely achieve the objective plus the coin or the token itself has its own value and definitely can be sold in the market.

These are my basis if a project is a scam project

• The team isn't transparent enough especially in their token sale
• They are not answering the question of their investors in their channel/s
• Fake whitepaper, bad reputation etc.

These are just some of the basis because I know that some users here have other basis whether a project is a scam or not. My basis if a project is good is just the opposite of what I shared on the top. I'm not investing on new projects right now so I don't have enough basis to share but these are just basic basis.

We can't detect scam/ good project easily, need long journey and fail until have perfect description how to take good project and avoid the scam. I join many project and I believe 60% is scam but I never give up to keep trying and asking into senior member about how to detect scam project. As user we must find the real information about the project, second thing is if they never up date information or bad respond in social media I think you should leave it, they will gonna after get your money.

Currently there are saying that; good projects have gone into extinction but the beautiful thing is that; there are good proportion of projects out there. A project without public team members is technically a scam project, so, avoid such. A project with a workable product will likely make a good project for its investors.
