Right! Scammers are often very smart. Especially to deceive cryptocurrencies is very smart must have knowledge and thorough understanding. 2019 will be disciplined for fraudulent money. Surely anyone who cares will know about the famous incident. The biggest scam ever recorded is the Plus Token. The e-wallet project on this smartphone is said to be a variant of the multi-level (Ponzi). Before the heads of the Plus Token suddenly disappeared in early July, they had promptly collected $ 2.9 billion from investors.
Well for a fraudulent activity to be successful, they must make their presentation looks legit. With that they thought of it thoroughly and how to mimic legit company. They think in advance and often prepare answers to possible hard question from these suspecting possible client. I don't even think they need to do that? They just need to promise a large return and for some reason people stop getting oxygen to their brain. You can see some things are scams yet people invest. They deserve what they get and I feel nothing for their loss. People who invest in scams are destroying crypto. That money could be put to far better use bit people are not interested since legit projects don't promise high returns and people want to hear lies. They want to hear thy will get high returns.

you need to be careful with old projects, the crisis drags on and they begin to deceive investors, such as paycent.

Yes some scammers are smart but if people join crypto world they should do research and this will really make the scam precent to be lowered, i never get scammed by this scams and i not trust this platforms who promise huge profit.
What is a huge profit? In the classic investment market, 10 percent per month is already a huge profit, but in the cryptocurrency market, 10 percent a month is not enough. I think everyone has their own understanding of this concept. scammers need to be determined not by what percentage they offer, but how they relate to the details of creating their project and to technology.

I don't think the problem has to do with being old or new. I guess it's human nature. Fraud,Scam , steal and try to fool you. Unfortunately, we have to deal with them all the time.

Well it is true these scammers are around us and they have restrategized but I think investors also should not give room to them. We should be very careful before dishing out our hard earned money. Do research on any project you want to invest on so you know if it is worth it or not

I find it to be a rule that scammers promise more than the average project. Also most scammers start from small scams.
If you dox the coin team and find they've been involved in some petty thefts or failed projects you shouldn't trust them. It's the same with bounty scams and not paying their employees. If they are able to scam you for a few dollars they will scam you for big money.
Bought accounts, fake reviews, fake pictures, fake social media traffic all such things point to a scam.

The scammers are not stupid or smart, these guys are really experienced in social engineering. They have the minimum requirements for tricking the other users in various ways and take their money out of their pocket. That is why educated investors are a threat to the scammers.

Sure, they are pretty smarter than many investors. They always come up with different style of tricking investors into investing to their ponzi scheme called project, but thoroughly research into the project will reveal their hidden agendas which can be averted. We can help ourselves to be more smarter than them but, greediness will be a major problem to investors.

Scammers don't have to give huge promises anymore, believe me they are among us and they know how smart investors have become too, they always reshape their tactics, now projects don't have to give too good offers because they know people are aware that too good to be real offers are scam, honestly scammers are not idiots
People keep saying good projects always have good team and brilliant ideas to solve crypto issues, who tell you that scammers can't deliver all this?
Yes they are smart too and you said it was among us that's true, If we look at the telegram channel they are pretending to be one of us but the truth is they are a part of the project. Actually we can know them if we are read some of the comment it have been suspicious. Must better to be careful and we need to be smart too, We dont need to become a bait on what offers they wan for us.

That's right. On a smart developer there is a smarter scammer. We can say that scammers are also talented people, they just send their knowledge in a bad direction.

Indeed. There's even a movie called "Who Am I" that talks about social engineering and how well can it be used to make other people do what you want then too. This method of manipulation is quite advance and difficult to master and implement. But with enough resources and story to cover, anyone can masquerade and fool the people in this industry.

There are several scam projects that are quite detailed in designing the scam. The current scam is sophisticated enough to fool people who are experienced in crypto and I think we need to be vigilant. With in-depth research and I think it would be better to invest in coins that are already listed on large exchangers because it will make it calmer

More so they come as self funded projects to eliminate investors fears and make them buy tokens from exchange. Scammers will always be a step ahead of investors because they're smarter than investors.

Exactly. You got it spot on. You can't really be a successful scammer without having the requisite knowledge or being smart. Naturally scammer are smart and like you said, they only choose to use their skill sets wrong. Reminds me of the movie by Leonardo Dicaprio - Catch me is you Can.

Some of the fraudsters' behavior is a shame. You're already collecting a lot of money. At least evaluate the investment. Because the money they raise is enough to start a business.
Not all collapsed projects can be called scams. Some fail. However, some have no intention of advancing the project. They disappear quietly after IEO or ICO.

The exit scams are a famous method among the scam projects, the easiest way is to take the money with some acceptable excuse. The scammers are wiser than the majority of the investors, they know how to handle the main problems related to the project's future. Upon reaching their intention, they run away with other people's money.

What you are talking about has already happened in 2017. The largest scams were indistinguishable from real cool projects, and that is why they managed to collect a huge amount of investor money. As a result, it was a huge surprise for everyone when such projects turned out to be a scam. Now this has become more widespread due to the difficulty of luring investors into traps of this kind.

Unfortunately, it's easy to trick people. I think people always feel the need to believe something. And there's another situation. People want to make easy money. Scams exploit these feelings. Everyone needs to improve.
