What will happen if crypto vanishes overnight or due to some or the other reason if crypto becomes inaccessible to public? I know this does not make sense as crypto will not vanish but still what if it happens? What about those huge chunk of investments made by whales and other investors?

if that really happens, it will surely cause an economic crisis. Because all this money is not just our principal, there are many people who borrow from banks to invest in this market and the amount has reached $ 190 billion. So if the crypto market collapses, the whole world will lose over $ 190 billion in fiat money and it will surely be a major influence and sharks will die. I don't expect this to happen, it will make millions of people poor.

Naturally calamity will hardly affect the blockchain of certain coin simply because it's decentralized even if there's only 1 miners left in this world it the difficulty will adjust except the whole earth is in the bring of destruction and it's the main purpose of decentralization which is to prevent any authority from raiding and shutting down the whole blockchain.

of course, there are no people in crypto who are not disappointed, there are no crypto holders who are not sad. and the bigger one is. many crypto exchanges will be demanded by their members. indeed, crypto does not have any guarantees. but when crypto suddenly disappears, I think people will take legal action to solve it.

A good example of this scenario is ICO scam exit. When they exit, all investors lose there money and rest are not affected.

Well there is a lot of things that will happen specially to those individuals who have invested big amount of money to crypto, they will lose everything they have in crypto and i don't think we can recover the cryptos anymore and if ever some groups plans to rebuild crypto people will be having a hard time trusting it again, crypto might not exist again and a new system will be establish.

it will cause chaos, and the FUD will spread the word about scams, fraud, greed, and others to make crypto look bad. actually I can't imagine what happened, because as far as I know, many important people have invested in crypto. but thinking about it vanishes in 1 night, it's very impossible.

If cryptocurrency vanishes, then it is quite alright for me because I have done diversification and I don't mind to lose an opportunity from cryptocurrencies because I have businesses right now and other sources of income that will become a supplement to my lose income. I compared that question to fiat because it can be turned around and sound equally dumb. It doesn't matter the main question was about cryptocurrencies. The chances of cryptocurrencies disappearing are the same as chances of fiat disappearing - very slim.
Did computers disappear? Did phones disappear? Yes we are using landlines less and less but 100 years later they are still here. Things don't disappear just like that.

Value doesn't vanish. If you buy a car and wreck it the value will decrease but not vanish. You can still sell it for parts or repair.

Yes it won't vanish at that random address. It will still be there and someone may have a private key to that address or even generate that key in a couple years by trying to make a new address. Value in fiat does not influence the existence of something.

Professional people prioritizing cryptocurrencies for the living is low compared to the passive income generators. In that way it might not affect a big community, but this won't happen now or then as the community keeps widening with the technology getting more and more advanced with different technologies.

Honestly, the only answer I can give is the internet should vanish first before Cryptocurrency vanishes, it should be the internet first before Cryptocurrency, and if there is still an internet, we can always recreate those cryptocurrencies because the majority of this Cryptocurrency is open source, can be clone can be imitated.

Their huge chunks of investments in cryptocurrency will be like the rest; they will become worthless. But again, as what you have stated, this will not happen and it makes no sense thinking about it because it is next to impossible to happen, especially overnight. Cryptocurrency might get weaker in the coming years but the whales will be making the advance steps before it will crash.

For those who say that cryptocurrency is a scam and that bitcoin is a scam, They are newbie in this market and they have not carefully studied the market. I have a lot of friends who don't participate in this market but every time I mention cryptocurrency they say, it's a scam, stay away from it. They obviously know nothing about this market. If this market suddenly disappears, I think whales in this market will lose their entire fortune, and a lot of people will become poor. And from there I believe that this will never be possible happen, unless the internet of the world disappears

This will certainly cause a great loss to the economy. because most of the money that many people bring into the crypto market is borrowed from banks. So if the crypto market disappears overnight, of course all the fiat money we send into the crypto market is gone. You won't be able to imagine the awesomeness of some big bitcoin investing countries losing $ 200 billion overnight. Banks take money and many will commit suicide.

Strange question. I think everything will be the same as it was before the advent of cryptocurrency. The same situation as it was before 2009. Cryptocurrencies are unlikely to disappear already. The blockchain technology underlying them is very promising. And in many ways it is inextricably linked to the cryptocurrencies themselves. This is a new industry that is booming.

Don't do wish or think like this, It's created already a massive platform where people have come from around the world, so it will be a massive loss for many people who have created their own platform so far, I am sure cryptocurrency will not disappear because of having a strong blockchain system so far, so it will sustain for a long time for sure, on the other hand, Some country's government still trying to do anything harmful to this Cryptocurrency forum but they haven't done anything negative towards this world.
