But again, as what you have stated, this will not happen and it makes no sense thinking about it because it is next to impossible to happen, especially overnight. Cryptocurrency might get weaker in the coming years but the whales will be making the advance steps before it will crash.

Only with the advent of a higher technology that can replace cryptocurrency, the use of cryptocurrency can decrease, but it will not disappear in any way.  Perhaps its use will be significantly less, because the user’s interest will be directed to something else.  In addition, we do not know how things will work with using a quantum computer.  Will there be a way to protect and secure the cryptocurrency in front of the capabilities of a quantum computer?

Strange question. I think everything will be the same as it was before the advent of cryptocurrency. The same situation as it was before 2009. Cryptocurrencies are unlikely to disappear already. The blockchain technology underlying them is very promising. And in many ways it is inextricably linked to the cryptocurrencies themselves. This is a new industry that is booming.

Well, that's a remarkable reminder but I believe here very few people rely on crypto when almost all have a stable job and a good source of income from reality before they learn about this investment, and even if they rely on crypto, it's just proof that they have made a lot of money from crypto, and when crypto disappears, they still don't fall into a difficult situation. To be honest, it is not possible to crypto vanishes, but if it really happens it is caused by a dead internet network connection or
the death of the electricity network. If indeed such an event, certainly does not need to worry about. Just waiting for repairs to

This type of question in OP doesn't need a verification, if it would happen because we all know that it might take a global chaos to make it happen. And the other thing is the if the internet wouldn't work globally anymore then that would be the best reason that everyone can't trade their cryptocurrency all over the world. It is possible if you are investing in alt coins which are not decentralized and it can be true when you talk about Ripple, USDT and other similar crypto currencies but that is not the case with BTCitcoin and you can simply understand it by just looking at the hash rate BTCitcoin has and it is impossible to think that all the miners will shut down one day thereby making the network vulnerable, so always think about the risk before investing or holding your assets in centralized currency.

So what's the point of discussing it other than for personal amusement (whatever would be left in such dire circumstances)? bitcoin can only be banned if internet is banned , even if it was declared illegal , there will be people using it

If the government will really ban crypto then for sure that it will be too risky for all of us because it's hard to disobey the government as of course we don't want to suffer from the consequence. If that happened people will really have a hard time in transacting crypto currency and that will reduce the demand for it.

Well, we don't know what might happen all we know is that it is still too far for crypto currencies to dissapear. A lot of them died since the market has only one rule in being alive, the survival of the fittest. Many investors support a lot of crypto currencies so I don't think it will just poof out of the existence that quickly.

The difference is that what the OP is suggesting there will be no winners, if cryptocurrencies were to vanish then we will lose our money but there will be no scammer laughing at us for deceiving us, every single person will lose his money in the market and while the market of cryptocurrencies is small it will be interesting to see if some economic problems emerge from all of this, and in my case it will be a terrible loss since a significant portion of my money is invested in this market.

Cryptocurrency is a dream. Bitcoin made people living in their homes rich. Now these people need to use the money they earn for the expansion of this ecosystem. This market will not disappear. It will be a natural transformation. Robust projects will survive.
