I don't think it guarantees investing in the top 30 coins because it could go down and so bad, look at the market now that there are still only some of the green in that market but the dominant one is high up now Ethereum so prices are still not stable and you can be sure choose the right coins to invest.

Still these 2 is the best to hold until the market brings back it's good performance. There is no guarantee in investing in any ways what we all need is to set our goal whether to long term or short term holding and trading. You did not specify what altcoins are not increasing, I guess these are new coins in the market, people are still investing and still believe in Cryptocurrency but they only invest on coins that will have an impact in the future, and not on coins that just come in the market offering a lot of promise, which turn out to be false, if you are a new investors old coins are highly recommended and let new coins prove themselves first.

I don’t understand why everyone thinks that they are safe if they invest in the top 30 altcoins. I have already seen so many times how coins appeared in the top 30 and disappeared from there very fast. there is no guarantee that you will save your money better if you invest in the top 30 but not in the top 200. if you are not sure about the coin you choose, it is better not to invest in it at all. best just buy bitcoin

Investing in Altcoins nowadays is so much risk, as you can see even the top Altcoins out there is bleeding. look what happened to XRP and the others, Also ETH has been this low for how many months now. The only thing you can rely on your investment is to invest in BTC when its price becomes low. like for example what happen this month, the price has fallen to $6000+ that's the right time to buy Bitcoin. Because as you can see right now the price will always recover as usual. So if ever the price will fall again, grab that opportunity to recover your loses from investing in Altcoins.

What did you expect if bitcoin is in the dumped price? Of course, altcoins price is also affected when the Bitcoin price will drop. Top 30 is already too deep, I will only risk on the top 10 altcoins. I believe the less diversified portfolio I have the better I can manage it.

I dont say it safe but more secured investment compared to the altcoin thats not part of the top 30 list. In terms of volume and daily trade top coins have more demand than others and chances that it will be dead is lower if you look at the altcoins.
