Hey there!

I noticed a bug on the mobile version of the site (on Android). I am not sure if the website is supposed to be optimized on mobile, but I see that the website has a mobile view, therefore I considered that mentioning this bug is worthy.

The bug is an overlap between the descriptions of the Most Merited, Most Activity, Most Trusted and Most Recognized. In order to reach it, you have to perform the following actions:

- launch the site on mobile: on mobile view, the lists of Most Merited, Most Activity, Most Trusted and Most Recognized members are placed one below the other (unlike the desktop view, where these lists are placed one next to the other)
- click on the "?" symbol placed next to each section's title (for example, the "?" placed next to Most Activity): at this point the description of the list will be displayed and this description will remain displayed on the screen when you scroll down the list
- scroll down until reaching the next section (in this case, Most Trusted)
- click on the "?" symbol placed next to Most Trusted: at this point, both description will be displayed on the screen (please see the picture https://i.imgur.com/pTFuXtl.jpg)
- keep scrolling down a bit

Result: the descriptions of the two lists will be overlapped (please see the picture https://i.imgur.com/nxKGwsU.jpg).

Suggestion: in order to have bug fixed, I think that if an user clicks on the "?" symbol placed next to a list's title, this action should dismiss an eventual previous click on another "?" symbol placed next to other list's title. Thus, only one description will be displayed on the screen.

This concerns Bans and unbans.

As an example pirate hunter was banned then later unbanned. But when you look at the Bpip Profile information. It becomes hard to tell whether he was banned, Unbanned then banned again since the autoban warning is still reflecting on the profile.



Suggestion.
1. If the account is unbanned, the Autoban warning should be removed.
2. If the account is banned, maybe we can have information about the ban such as time and date of ban being displayed under the Meta Log area just like the unban information.

It's not possible to see temporary bans, as they're not shown in the modlog.

For sig-bans, a message would be displayed in the user's signature space (only visible when viewing the profile):

You can see your sent rank on left side merit information in BPIP website.
For example, I think your rank for sent merits is 58, and same thing can be done for earned merits.
I am not sure badges are needed for this.

We still waiting for a spam reporter badge, but there is no progress yet. Even if this badge can be more useful because they can motivate members to report spam. Less spam more quality on the forum.
When we talking about report badge, I guess there is not possible this to be added in BPIP statistics, while theymos does not allow it by the forum permission?

Quite the contrary - I've been quite active out and about.  Check my posts over the last week, I've barely checked in to post a half dozen times.

Update: We've released an update to the live site. There is more under development that we were hopeful to have ready for this update (mainly BPIP Cards, new themes on the extension, and a few other features) but, well... time, priorities, covid, life, etc...  there are just a few more things to work out before some of these can be released, hopefully not too much longer).

As for this release, there are some notable front-end modifications, but a lot of the work in this release was done on the back-end with moving towards a new development infrastructure and porting over pages.. which will hopefully benefit the overall performance, flexibility, cost, and security of the site.

Notable release notes:

• Hamburger menu in the upper-right corner of site for easier access to the main menu.
• Informational text on reports to give a basic explanation on what the report represents. (forgive any typos or misunderstandings, but please let us know about them!)
• Modified/added verbiage to differentiate “most merit” and "earned merit".
• Added “most earned merit” badge on Profile pages, using a slightly different style badge. (“most posts” also now uses this badge style).
• We've begun the process of moving over to a newer infrastructure, this will mean saved links need to change for: the profile page (/Profile), index/main page (/Index), and DT change log (/TrustLog).
• Various minor bug fixes/design adjustments

Important: Redirects are setup for the old links/pages mentioned above, but you should update any profile links to use /Profile?p=username or /Profile?id=00000 (instead of profile.aspx?p= or profile.aspx?id=... while also updating links for default.aspx (now /Index), or dt1changes.aspx (now /TrustLog) ). Other pages on the site will continue to operate under the old infrastructure, until they are converted in the future.

This should be fixed now but in the process I think I broke something ibminer was working on. So it might briefly glitch out again until we sync up our commits.

There was a small issue here which I caused about an hour before publishing .. Anyhow, should be good now. Regardless, because of the additional badge, some mid-sized screens may drop the last badge onto the next line in a responsive fashion. If we keep adding badges, we may need to make them smaller but I think it is OK for now.

My screen is big enough, and all badges are now on the same row.

Nice to see some of the issues have been updated. I would have swapped the shields with Laurel Wreaths and the solid shields around so that the three values that contribute to the Most Recognised scores are more prominent, but that's just me.

Now that the update has occurred, what do you need to have the values opened out to the first ten thousand as opposed to the first thousand as it is now, and, how can I help to make that happen?  I'll be back at my desk in around 36 hours time, so we can discuss it then.
