Yeah I'm playing whack-a-mole with the attacker now, either I will run out of disk space of a blacklist, or the dipshit will run out of IPs. So the site may go off and on unfortunately while this is happening.
What results did you get from the attacker you played hack and mole with? Have a little discussion with us. Please let me know if your blocklist is out of dixie space or out of IP.

suchmoon, I am looking for your attention. BPIP has been showing wrong data about DT for the last week. It would be great if you take a look. theymos reshuffled the DT1 list on the first of January, but the BPIP website and the browser extension still show the previous month's data. Yesterday, I noticed that I am on the DT network for the first time, but I cannot see it myself which is not very good for me. I felt too excited when I noticed that. Even though this is just for one month What do you mean? I am seeing that the data was updated on 1/7/2024 12:51:40 PM, probably some time after Theymos announced the DT1 changes - https://bpip.org/TrustLog. As it stands, you are on DT2 and that's what the browser extension is showing right now

It's not only me who has found it out. I never knew I was in the DT network until yesterday when LoyceV mentioned my username on one of his threads. I have posted my confusion there and he responded too saying BPIP is wrong. Nice to see everything fixed now.

Thanks, I had noticed a locked job yesterday which was stopping the TrustLog check. I was unable to access my development machine yesterday to clear it myself, but had intended to clear it up this morning. All seems well at the moment though, so I'm guessing SM cleared it out. (thank you SM!)

I tried looking at the DT change log and received this error... probably a typo in your code. This site can’t be reached. Check if there is a typo in ip-172-31-10-229.us-west-2.compute.internal.

I tried looking at the DT change log and received this error... probably a typo in your code. I get it too, when visiting https://bpip.org/r/dt1changes.aspx. Visiting https://bpip.org/TrustLog works. Time to reduce the font of the page numbers 1 up to 403? It now fills half the screen

Ah, thank you both. I had no clue what that error was since it was referencing an internal IP. It makes a little more sense now that it has something to do with the redirect we are doing on the old link/address to the new /TrustLog page. The error might have to do with some of the changes suchmoon made with the redirects on the main page but I need to look closer into it. And yes, we definitely need to do something about the page numbers...!

Hello ibminer and suchmoon,
I think there is an error in displaying my DT2 status. If I look at my profile on bpip.org I see that it appears as not being in DT above under the avatar. I thought this was because I am not in DT now, as I am only intermittently in DT depending on the results of the DT1 lottery. But when I look at loyce.club I see that I should be in DT2, as 1miau is DT1 this month and he has me on his trust list.
Can you take a look or tell me where I'm wrong in my reasoning? Although from what I see in the thread it wouldn't be the first time this has happened.

But when I look at loyce.club I see that I should be in DT2, as 1miau is DT1 this month and he has me on his trust list. You're not on DT. The DT1-status on my Trust list viewer is wrong. I'll look into it.Okay, here's what happened: I fucked up Last week, there was a problem with my usernames scraper, which means I reset and restarted my Trust list update. The week before that, a name change messed up my update, after which I reset and restarted my Trust list update. And this is where I forgot to copy back the DefaultTrust changes. So, in short, the DT1-status on the last 2 updates of my Trust list viewer are outdated. I'll leave the previous week untouched, and I'm currently running an update for the last week. I won't change the time stamp on that week, since no data other than the DT1-status will be altered. Thanks for noticing this, even though you thought the error was with BPIP.

Maybe I'm interpreting it wrong, but I don't see 1miau in the DT1 selection. Not in DT1: https://bpip.org/Report?r=dtstrengthHe is in DT2: https://bpip.org/Report?r=dt2strengthThese two pages are also relevant to this check Check if any of these people who added you to distrust are in DT because it can equal/cancel 1miau inclusion.

The explanation is in LoyceV's comment. I recently looked at my profile on bpip.org and saw that I was not in DT, but shortly after we were talking about the trust system at my local board and when I looked on Loyce.club I saw that 1miau was listed as having DT1 status. As I didn't have any DT exclusion, and according to what I saw on loyce.club, I thought I must be in DT2 this month, so I wrote this post thinking wrongly that it was a bpip.org error (and more thinking that there had been a similar error with the DT status display as you can see a few posts above). However, the error was not on bpip.org, but on loyce.club.

So a redirect would be nice

So a redirect would be nice The links were changed here: ~ - We've begun the process of moving over to a newer infrastructure, this will mean saved links need to change for: the profile page (/Profile), index/main page (/Index), and DT change log (/TrustLog).
~ Redirects had been set back then, but I think the redirection issue currently is likely caused by some of the changes that got done during the DDoS. I thought it was only happening to the main page but I'll try to look at this today or, worst-case scenario, this weekend. EDIT: Give me a few more days on this one, I don't think I can fix this by myself. EDIT #2: Redirects should be back in place now.

@ibminer, it looks like the problem I discovered here a while ago is back again. Probably BPIP stopped updating a few days back. I don't know if I have not been so observant in the past but lately there seem to be so many profiles just woken up showing as "inactive" or "archived" several minutes or hours later after posting
Here is an example of a profile that woke up and posted, but it is still showing as inactive --- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=882254 ( https://bpip.org/Profile?id=882254)

I just visited that profile and clicked on "Refresh profile". The profile information was updated and it's no longer shown as inactive. If I am not wrong, the last parsed time for that profile before clicking on "Refresh button" was more than 40 days ago.

The refresh profile works, but it's the manual option which works only on one profile, while the other option was automatic. Lately more and more profiles that wake up and post are still showing as inactive which means the automatic parsing might have accidentally stopped which why I am trying to alert ibminer.

Thank you! It appears the recent posts job got locked about 5 days ago, it has been cleared, but there was a small gap in collecting of posts. "Refresh" any others you may see, or it should auto-update the profile on their next post.
