Please edit the title we have no boxer named Garica it should be Garcia, this is the second crack of Garcia in that weight category but he is putting too much on what he can, he is not Pacquiao with good speed and hard punch, he is a technically a good boxer, but with a very experienced Vargas, I don't think he has a chance of beating him, he will overwhelm by Vargas on this fight.

Now, let's discuss about Garcia's capabilities in comparison to Vargas, and just like what happened with pacman during his fights with so many top boxers. He was prejudiced with several analyst that he won't able to make it, but fortunately it was a reversal scenario Manny Pacquiao did it to winning by knock out.
Same with Garcia and Vargas fight, we don't know yet what's the future game so let's see what they've got in the middle of their fight on the ring.

It's good to see another fellow kababayan will have a good exposure fighting a much well known boxer, experienced wise Vargas have that edge
while with aggressiveness to prove something Garcia might bring something good within this fight, not bad to spare small money to show support

Vargas could only score a majority decision draw over the likes of Thomas Dulorme and Adrien Broner—two distinctly B+ class fighters. There's no way he's going to be able to handle Mikey Garcia, a guy who only lost once to the much bigger Errol Spence Jr by UD.

Let's be realistic here, Vargas is going to get whomped. I don't care if he's 5 inches taller, that's not going to matter much when Mikey is breaking down his body.

With that said, I'm not expecting a knockout. Vargas has been in there with some big punchers in the past and has stayed standing. Mikey isn't the hugest puncher, but he can definitely bang.

I predict this will go to UD in favor of Mikey, with around a 25% chance for a late knockout.

That's a good prediction, some are predicting Vargas others, Garcia, both fighters are capable to beat any fighter, I go for Garcia here reminds me of Mosley small but a very technical fighter with speed and has a good counter, this has the making of a good fight and I don't think it will be lopsided just like what we've seen in some of the past fights.

As you can see, from Mikey Garcia's record, it is a big factor to look on because of the number of fights he won. That's an strong evidence that he can beat anyone who he fought. Vargas is not enough to beat a 4 times champion. I also watched some fights of Garcia and his opponent really suffer from strong punches after the game. The height is also a factor, although Vargas is taller, Garcia is shorter, we all know that the smaller the quicker.

Overall, Vargas has a great advantage against his opponent Garcia, IMO. I will go with Vargas no matter what happened not just because he is a good fighter also he has the strength to defend his belt. But this fight is unpredictable and there is a high chance also Vargas were defeat by Garcia.

In all aspects that we compare, it seems Garcia's is the best among these two fighters and I will go and place my bet with Garcia. Prior to what had happened in the world of boxing, I will like to predict in favor if Mikey G because he has out performed in many fight compared to Jessie V. Practically speaking, experience if consider will give a double edge to Mikey G, but the ring is a place where anything can happen to anyone on the ring. Though Vargas is the bigger fighter here but i would favor Garcia in this fight for his speed. Experience wise, Vargas has the edge, having fought Manny and Bradley is a feather on his cap though he was on the wrong end. Vargas lack the speed which for me is the vital factor for winning a fight.

Not sure if Garcia can carry his speed here. But he has fought Spence, probably he already knows the power in this division and he can take it. Vargas lacks speed which Mikey can take advantage of. So it's possible that this fight will be similar to Bradley fight in which Vargas lost.

This fight is going to be explosive, but I will be favouring Jessie Vargas here. Jessie Vargas has fought Manny Pacquiao And Tim Bradley so he has the experience and the tools to beat Garcia. And this is the second fight that 'Mikey' at 147 lbs, he hasn't tested this weight class. So Vargas by UD. We will just have to wait what the odds are going to be.

If this fight happens in 2019 this has a good potential to become a fight of the year, both fighters are proven Mexican all-out fighter, I'm betting on Garcia he is a very technical fighter with good timing on his punch, I see him winning by a split decision here, but I have doubt that he will be good in the welterweight division, that division is loaded with talented boxers, like Spence and Pacquiao.

What do you mean? Boxing is a business so obviously, every fighter dreams of being a champion and soon money will come. And I doubt that they do it just for their country, they fight because it's a job, and they are paid thousands or even millions of dollar. We can't really say if Mikey is the harder puncher here because this is not his best weight class. He was outclassed by Spence when he first came to the 147 division. I remember Spence saying that he wanted to show his boxing skills when he fought Garcia so perhaps that's is the reason why he can't/didn't knock out Mikey.

Mikey Garcia wants to conquer new territories, like what other great champions have done, but welterweight is talent-laden he knows that when he was beaten by Spence, on his one of interviews he mentioned he is targetting Pacquiao, because of the three welterweight champions, he think he has a good chance with Pacquiao, and Vargas will be his stepping stone to call out Pacquiao, this is my theory.
