Damn, I often get a pm from telegrams about cooperation offers and others, I just ignore that, because I know it's a scam. no free or instant money.
although I once got a scammer in a telegram and lost 3 eth, lol. of course it is a lesson for me.

I don't want to connect anybody in Telegram because I know already that it is full of scammers.

I encountered some unknown users too in telegram but I don't entertain them. I don't want to spend my precious time to these scammers. I hope that there are no other people are getting scammed in telegram.
Thanks for sharing your experience anyway.

I got the similar messages few times and usually from unpopular betting sites with poor UI. Well, I always enjoy how they are trying to scam but I knew they obviously just want to scam so I don't follow their orders. They can do it themselves, if it's not a scam. Why bother to message unknown people, that's nonsense!

Similar to me. I have received offers and sudden winning of something which I did not remember I participated in. Sometimes through emails. I managed to reply some of their emails but as soon as they are asking for a payment or bringing in your btc address and other important information I automatically put them on ignore list. It's easy to spot scammers as long as you're greed level isn't very high.

Scammers are totally a good story teller. I am just fascinated how he made you interested in winning though, he even had this game that is halfway persuading. Anyway, thanks for sharing your story, I bet he deceived lots of person there though it was quite obvious from the start but once you get in touch into the site everything might went fine as you feel the excitement as well. Tables will change once they urge you to pay for a certain amount. Good job spotting such aim.

Scammers and those people that are greedy to earn money as well as bitcoin are those who will do anything just to earn profit easily that can result them to cheat other people in order to get what they want. Those scammers can make story and really good on persuading people to trust them and because of their greediness they make some bad activities that result to negative feedbacks from the society. The story above was very clear that the people want your money and they will do anything just to get it so lets wake up and be careful to those people that makes us dump just to get our money in line. Do not fall on those people who have a bad intent in your earnings.

BIG WINNER!

This had happened to me before but in a different scenario.  There was someone who sent me a message in telegram asking me to create an account in a certain trading site where his ethereum is. He said due to country restriction he could not withdraw his ethereum around 20 ETH to be exact in exchange he'll give me 2 ETH. When I tried withdrawing it a messaged popped asking me to deposit 100$ to unfreeze the account.

I am just like you, but they are trying to scam me through email. I received hundreds of fake Binance, Kucoin, Okex emails ... The email content is that someone sent to my account 0.1 BTC or even 1 BTC, then they attached a link and told me to confirm for the transaction to be completed. I wonder how they got my email and sent me hundreds of spam emails like that, scammer is always around us and they hide in this market. We must always be careful with it

We all know that that telegram has always been used for scamming people especially in the crypto industry, that's why I increase my telegram's account privacy, stranger always send me dm, some of them also added me into some random ICO's or crypto-related group which I was not interested in. To prevent this issue you may increase the privacy in your account's setting. I did it, now no one can add me to the group and see my phone number except my contact.

You escape the scam because you where tempted at first to fall into this obvious scam and later advice yourself against the man behind GREED. That's the forces of greed that pushes many to fall for what is obvious to be called true. Obvious scam of this type shouldn't have been an issue at the first place; if greed is to be control.

Thank you for sharing stories about your experiences, nowadays scammers are getting more creative in how to trap their victims.
We must always be vigilant, lest we also become victims of scammers. Actually I also often get offers interesting from people I know
by telegram, but I also realize the offer is likely a scam. Because of me realize don't trust people too easily, it's better to avoid it than
I am be a victim of scam.

It mostly starts with a question are we aware of mining? Most of the time they use mining facilities even if they don't own one to strike and tell people to invest to them that will surely return ROI. Though, the best move for this action is to ask them basically some technical terms and try to test their knowledge about the matter even if we will not really taking their bait. Just to lure them out, in short, to avoid scams, we, ourselves should first understand the basic concepts that we could actually use to avoid being scammed.

The rate of desperation in the cryptocurrency industry is really hitting the roof.

I decided to take this medium to enlighten users to protect themselves and their assets against a new scam in town.

A guy by name "Allen Stanley" messaged me on telegram.
He said he wants us to make money together.
I told him to go on, he said he works with Betxloot.com,a crypto betting site.

He said he could make anyone he likes to win the bet, that he can proof it if I want, but I had to create an account on the above site and bet with at least $70.

He said he would have done it himself, but the team already knew him and his wallet address, so he wanted to make another person win and share in the winning 50/50.

I told him I didn't have such money, so he insulted me, after which I told him to bring the $70 for the betting, then he will take 60% if he makes me win.

He told me to give him my username on the site, which I did, immediately he sent $70 to my dashboard.
He told me to place a bet, which I did, when the bet which lasts about 2mins was up, he made me a winner.

I won $4998, he dropped his btc address and told me to withdraw and then send his 50%, to me it was too good to be true.

So I attempted to withdraw to my btc wallet, and a message popped up, it read "because it's a new account, your assets are frozen, you will have to deposit about $100 - $170 to unfreeze your account.

When I showed him a screenshot, he pretended as though it was random, he started persuading me to deposit $100 to unfreeze the account,so I could withdraw the huge sum I had won.

I believe by now you too have come to understand that it is a scam site, Allen Stanley is working to get people deposit $100 to get a winning that is not real.

Even other members of the platform were chatting of a game that doesn't exist, making it seem like a normal activity, which we already know they are all part of this scam group.

Please do not fall for this new scam betxloot.com, they might want to entice you with huge winnings, but a they want us your btc, don't give in.

A lot of people in this crypto space are just looking for ignorant individuals to scam them. Once they realize that you don't really have enough knowledge and understanding on how the entire crypto space operates, they take advantage of you to scam you off the little bitcoin you have in your wallet.  And greediness of people make them vulnerable to such scams...

Wow. That is pretty clever. Making it look like he made you win. He did make you win since the site belongs to him.  Grin Then you "trust" him since he made you win. He pressurizes you into depositing the $100 to open your account to with the $5k and then you never hear from him again and the money is never withdrawn. I wonder how many people would fall for this.

As soon as a gambling site starts "freezing" your account after a big win. Then something is wrong. A legit casino will let you withdraw. A legit casino may want to manually do it and it might take up to say 48 hours but anything other than that is a scam.

Honestly, all the explanation said by the OP i dont think this is an act of scamming ignorant individuals because the scenario was pretty cool and even the most smart person in the wirld may fall for it before understanding the whole scenarios.
@OP, it good you share this situation but i think the forum still need you to provide the screen shot of you conversation with the scammer for proper evidence.

Unm.. do you think random people who asks you to deposit $100 to give you easy money is a genuine person?

Imagine you are the gamble site mod, you want to have 50-50 by making someone win the gamble in your site without any first deposit from him ($100 deposit is because the account get frozen). If you have this kind of chance, would you ask random people in the world to help you out? Or would you ask your real life friend or even do it yourself?

Think!

Scammers are aware to the potential of the bitcoin so it is the reason why they keep creating fake projects in order to get our bitcoins. They are skillful and smart and that is why they keep victimizing others in order to steal their funds. We should not trust strangers, here in the cryptocurrency market that only thing that we need to trust is ourselves in order for us to make better decisions.

now it's very common in telegram. Telegram became a heaven for the scammer. When you message in some crypto group some unknown telegram account send a message about profitable investment with proof. I already got a lot of messages like that. I think most of them are a scam. So guys careful if someone tells you about any investment site always do some research about that company before putting your money into that site.

This tricks are very common since early 2017 and it still works on crypto newbies, this will obviously work on any greedy people, why can't him fix this himself? Why finding people online to do this? Obviously it's a big fat SCAM
He'll never be a victim to this, he actually helps others to give awareness and it is the OP's intent. He solves it by himself.
The most online offering is really enticing seeing huge offer of returns in just a few days, it surely attracts greedy people and noobs. But the situation had changed already, scammers are smart and have already a different style which it certainly can't obviously look like scams. Well, this is hard when you have only a limited market knowledge and that is why noobs most often are the victims.
