Sometimes I wonder how people spend time and resources to invent means of defrauding people. This is a red flag in entirety.
Please,  we should endeavour to control our emotions, it's the tool this fraudsters uses to get their victims.
Never you fall for them, let starvation make them engage in something meaningful.

Free cheese only in a mousetrap. Personally, if someone wrote this to me, I would not even continue to have a dialogue with him, no one would begin to give such information to a complete stranger, if that were true.

No one will ever give you money for free.

Some of the people in the telegram has a full of promise to those people that they are going to be a victim. They are promising a huge amount of money for them to believe this scammers and steal their money when the trust of the victim is already 100%. So, you better not trust other people easily because they might abuse your kindness and stab you sooner or later.

What's the main characteristic of telegram after all? It is decentralize, you can be anonymous and you could talk to anyone you like, but it doesn't mean we need to put our trust to someone we haven't really know in the first place. Telegram is quite better if we are both having a deal where no parties need to take money out of their fund for transfer, but to consider, working as a team to be considered as a better option why telegram should be use. Because if they continue to use telegram to scam people. Eventually, we'll just waste the opportunities that could be provided by telegram.

Telegram is originated from russia and it has characteristic of being decentralized where the government cannot control it and anyone can use it. But there are disadvantages in telegram because there are now many people got scammed through it. We cannot blame the telegram itself, if we been scammed then we should blame ourselves because we let ourselves to fall to their tricks.

Scammers are all over the social media platform, victims in telegram is also keep rising and it is the reason why we should be smart. Do not trust anyone, there are a lot of people who becoming hype after they got a message from strangers that they can earn big amount of money by just investing to them. We should have knowledge that we can use to protect our funds from scammers.

The point does not ever believe in someone you do not know, suddenly send DM and invite to invest, it is entirely fraudulent.
Especially if you are required to pay a sum of funds for withdrawals, that's withdrawals. And for newbies, please pay attention to this, don't just be influenced by the lure of big profits in an instant way, you need to be more realistic. Understand that everything requires a process.
And to prevent these scammers from having another chance to cheat, it helps you report the account, then block and leave, that's what I always do Cheesy

And thank you to the OP for sharing this experience, hopefully, we can all take lessons from here.

Scammers will come to us in a different way, there is no safe place to stay all especially to social media. And it was clear enough that this person is hiding his true identity. That is a common trick for the scammer but so sorry coz they will never succeed about their bad intentions. That is why it very important for newcomers to keep reading and be aware of how these scammers will trick people in order to become their prey.
And also, we don't need to be blind enough to see their actions as these attractive offering will cost a lot.

Attractive rewards, high ROI, passive income usually are the warning signals to look at.
Many can deceive users because they are offering great promotions that most of them forgot to dig deeper about the project.
People should not be greedy when it comes to investment because it will be their loss at the end.

I noticed most scammers nowadays use Telegram as a medium to scam more people who are into cryptocurrency.
I just don't know why though there are people who do not recognize which one is a scam or not as most of the offers in Telegram aren't true at all in my opinion.
Most greedy people are often the victim of these incidents.

I'll just ignore if someone message me through telegram or other social networks. I'm now aware that scams are all over the internet. Why would I believe to what they keep saying? There is no proof that I can make money from their investments. They are just using attractive words in order for them to brainwashed their investors. Newbies are vulnerable to losses and it is the reason why they should not trust strangers.

This is actually not new. There was a similar trend of these types of websites showing up in the gambling section. They basically had many tricks like giving you a huge faucet and letting you win big, like 1 BTC but to make any withdraws you would need to deposit at least >$100 or so.

Many people actually fell for this and I think the reason why is the psychology. Basically seeing you win 1 BTC which is $8335 today, looks tempting. So you feel connected to that money and basically think that "Its only $100" but you eventually fall for it and get scammed.

These are happening everywhere now, especially on Twitter, Discords and Slack groups.

right, we must be good at choosing investments. if we are in doubt, I think investing in bitcoin is an option. investing in new projects is very risky if we don't have good analytical skills, because fraud is spread everywhere, and sometimes their content is very interesting

The rate of desperation in the cryptocurrency industry is really hitting the roof.

I decided to take this medium to enlighten users to protect themselves and their assets against a new scam in town.

A guy by name "Allen Stanley" messaged me on telegram.
He said he wants us to make money together.
I told him to go on, he said he works with Betxloot.com,a crypto betting site.

He said he could make anyone he likes to win the bet, that he can proof it if I want, but I had to create an account on the above site and bet with at least $70.

He said he would have done it himself, but the team already knew him and his wallet address, so he wanted to make another person win and share in the winning 50/50.

I told him I didn't have such money, so he insulted me, after which I told him to bring the $70 for the betting, then he will take 60% if he makes me win.

He told me to give him my username on the site, which I did, immediately he sent $70 to my dashboard.
He told me to place a bet, which I did, when the bet which lasts about 2mins was up, he made me a winner.

I won $4998, he dropped his btc address and told me to withdraw and then send his 50%, to me it was too good to be true.

So I attempted to withdraw to my btc wallet, and a message popped up, it read "because it's a new account, your assets are frozen, you will have to deposit about $100 - $170 to unfreeze your account.

When I showed him a screenshot, he pretended as though it was random, he started persuading me to deposit $100 to unfreeze the account,so I could withdraw the huge sum I had won.

I believe by now you too have come to understand that it is a scam site, Allen Stanley is working to get people deposit $100 to get a winning that is not real.

Even other members of the platform were chatting of a game that doesn't exist, making it seem like a normal activity, which we already know they are all part of this scam group.

Please do not fall for this new scam betxloot.com, they might want to entice you with huge winnings, but a they want us your btc, don't give in.

Scammers are getting smarter day by day, While reading the content of your topic I also thought that it was a genuine requirement until this line.

Quote

That is a clear indication of something is fishy here. Of course, someone new to Bitcoin will not understand and will deposit the amount.

Thanks for sharing..

what i see here?OP is also a GREED person because he does make a full conversation from a random person that only message him from telegram.

imagine he seems very interesting about the offers ,if he did not replied on that message and just ignore or blocked also report that random message so this will not end like this?

sometimes it is our own judgement that makes us vulnerable from scammers, that is why on my part?i never spend time dealing with this damn people because they don't worth my time.

I just hope the pattern of scammers never change so people could be used and identify it quickly.

As long as people that we don't know force us to do something like this, think twice. I am not saying that all of the people who offered you like this is a scam, but most of them is. Thank you for sharing though, this guy might not stop and use other names to scam other people, atleast we all know his ploy.

I very much hope that the time will come when the cryptocurrency will be legalized worldwide and any fraudulent actions will be prosecuted.  In general, in order to achieve this goal and to obtain a good result in the search for justice, each cryptocurrency user will need to identify himself and his cryptocurrency state.  But there are always pros and cons in our lives and we must set priorities ourselves.

He owns the website, they are scammers who want to rip off newbies and the greedy. In crypto, Money are usually not free, you have got to work for it, when you see sweet offers, it's time to be greedy with your money.

Thats is reason why trusting someone is too risky because you dont actually know if that person have a good intention for you and really wanna help you because sometimes people are taking advantage of your goodness. Do not trust people that is really offering good stuffs maybe that is real but you have the responsibility to gain more information by yourself if that stuff they offering are legit and if not, you can ignore them or report that they are trying to scam you. We are in a digital world and we are holding or making money that is also digital so we should be aware everytime.
