Why do you have to compare? Instead of acting on Bestchange's request, you act without thinking, you does not know whether it is right or wrong   If you have read the request of Bestchange, merit is not required. It could be you, could be the other two guys, whoever it is, doesn't matter to you personally, just to say you are doing it wrong

Don't forget, I am not alone here. There are other members who also did the same way. Even they wrote more than what I did. And I just followed them.

Rule number one of joining a campaign.
Follow the manager rules and dont play smart.
No hard feelngs mate but i think you should be mature enough to make your own decision not by following others. Are you sayng if they did something against the forum rules you'll either.

Also, there is no rule "don't post your earned merit count". 
I don't see anything wrong if member mention number of earned merits in application post. It will be easier for the manager to pay attention, why not? especially where it is not obvious number of earned merits.
as far as I noticed BestChange manager trying to select the best participants, they will check the post history of applicants for sure, a number of earned merits can help in his selection. Though this is BestChange-manager's first campaign which they manage and he does his job very well.

The manager still has been doing his work to choose 2 new participants. I am sure he checks lots of things, not only what we applied and what we described.

For the above posts, I don't break any rule of the campaign with my application post. Everyone can make a description, like what we always do with CVs when going to job interviews.
If I break rule, you should feel happy with it. Because when I break rule, I throw my opportunity away and manager does not spend much time on my application.

I don't know what will be the coming results but I will keep smiling.
