Right well Im not sure what to do now? I had a positive response to setting up our own more open bigger game, that is happening in the background now.

But I did have it in mind for Sunday late afternoon as the known day we can make, that has been "hijacked" sounds drama, not really because it the same thing continuing for you guys. But a bit scuppers my idea if its a clash.

So when shall we do this game? if it was gonna be weekly?

Friday or Saturday early evening UK = afternoon USA

I love to play poker with you guys but it is highly unlikely I will be able to find time to play more than once a week. It would actually be best for me if it was played at the same time as series on Betnomi but I guess that is sort of overkill. Whatever you decide, I will try to make appearance.

I sort of feel like there is not enough poker players here on the forum to have 2 separate series going on. How about you and yahoo find each other on some chat and sort of merge all those ideas into one thing?

Weekend Series.  

Saturday* in whatever you organize, Sunday in betnomi.

Now it is not clear to me if you go on your own organizing this in the sense of sponsorship or receives support from SwC.

If the two series were to be carried out, I think there should be an agreement on the buy-in between the two series, one of the two should allow an intermediate buy-in.

The original series is still alive then! (?) here there is a great effort on the part of the organizers and the players for 4 seasons, I am a newcomer, but I think that the idea of the original series should continue.

I agree with you Trofo, there's not enough players on this forum for two separate series, even for this one we have troubles to gather more than 20 active players! Yahoo is trying to gather some players for this free rolls and it's hard! Many people from here are missing, I hope on Wednesday there will be more people (Yahoo made an announcement in one his last comments in betnomi poker topic - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5284992.msg55499505#msg55499505).
It would be nice to see more participants, and looks like it would be possible only with cooperation of few or more people! I think Yahoo said in his first post that he would use all the help, so Trofo is right when he said that two of you (Globb0 and Yahoo) should chat a bit and maybe combine some ideas into something amazing!

My personal game will be set up soon. I am just needing to think about the day and time.

I do think realistically it will be Sat or Sunday (less likely Friday night?) and it will be open to more players than just the forum (both on platform players and followers of various streams for example, also there is some facebook promotion )

Perhaps 50 - 100 is likely and it will be regular.

Ill have some giveaways and prizes in the stream and that's likely to be chips orientated or entry to the tourney that kind of thing.

and perhaps 1 rebuy and 1 top up? early on this will help me get enough entries to get to the prize guarantee. Perhaps later it can go to pure.

I did not even know that game is on, otherwise I would have probably joined it. I am mainly using watchlist to keep track of what is going on in the forum and if you make new topic and don't post the link in the old one chances are high I am gonna miss it

Believe it or not - I finally heard back from SwC regarding those hats that some of you had won and they told me they are now able to send them out right away, which is why I should ask the winners for names/addresses.

We are currently using the Betnomi platform (with the interface and withdrawal of funds, everything is in order). I thought I can follow, but it's too late for me! I even registered once, and I couldn't wait... When a job or kid wakes you up early in the morning, it's hard to stay awake in the evening... especially if you spice it up with a few drinks and cigars! In one moment my brain is just "off"...

Well I have two hats from SwC!

SwC, Betnomi... I am trying to not forget how everything started, as a game for people from this forum who like to play poker! And we had amazing time! We played good poker, we discussed poker (some people learned a lot from all that... we have good examples)... all in all the atmosphere was great!

Even with higher prize pool the last two series can't gather enough people! Something is missing, apparently! I don't feel that passion like before, instead of progress I feel like we are a few steps back! Looks like money is not everything (imagine that )!

I guess we all need to sit down and have a drink (or two)... some cigars to go around... we need to check some facts together! You are awesome, all of you! It's poker, you need to learn how to read other people, and their cards... and I think after a year of playing and talking with many of the participants I have a good picture about your characters!

Can we get back to basics?! Good people, nice discussions, great poker! It's what brought us together in the first place!

I know exactly that feeling after about 3 tourneys.

The best news of all is my game is moving earlier from 10pm UK to 7PM 3 hour earlier. Its gonna be great!

It is circumstantial, temporary, the fact that at certain times we do not coincide an acceptable field of players, those who were, those who arrived and those who will surely arrive, this is not about the prize, seriously !!  in my case I played the poker series for the poker  in the forum and the "prize"(!?) it is important of course that if ... we want to win, but if it were for that reason I can make the buyin of each tournament profitable in another place; casinos or tournaments whichever suits me best.

As Iv4n says, poker is to read the cards and the people, yes, but in their game intentions when you are at the table, there they want to kill you ... but outside the tables these guys are great people...at least in 2020 and so far in 2021 

Anyway, maybe one day the first paid and well-organized poker series "officially" on bitcoin in the offline world will come out of this community. This comment is not a bluff, it is a dream, dreaming is free ... playing the poker series "anywhere" is a reality and it doesn't matter who or what casino organizes it.

On the other hand, the poker community is not only gestated in a single type of tournament and that is demonstrated in the work that Globb0 has been doing, for example, and obviously the managers of the past series and the current one.

There is actually a long way to go for the crypto poker community on the forum to continue to grow on the balance of community and casino together.

If someday such a tournament happens, I will definitely take part (and I hope it will be held in Europe). As far as the venue is concerned, I know one hospitable Italian who would gladly receive us.

Quick update regarding those hats: You are of course more than welcome to PM them directly so you don`t have to share your personal details with me. SwC know and will make sure to ship the hats as soon as they have your information.

Regarding series: Still in talks about that with SwC - will of course update all of you as soon as there is anything worth updating.
