Can Ethereum reach the 1400$ mark this year?

I believe, like many, that this year will be very good for the crypto world. Assuming that the adoption of cryptocurrencies increases considerably this year, is it possible to see Ethereum surpass the $1400 mark?

Not rule out the possibility that ETH will be able to reach the price of $1400 this year, if a bullish trend occurs and can make ETH prices rise in the market, but I am personally don't expect that ETH will be able to reach the price of $1400 in the near future. Because the if expectations are too high but failing to be fulfilled will make you disappointed, even if ETH can reach the price of $700 or even $1000 of course it is something that is very worthy to our gratitude!!

Looking at the way charts are looking, the only way eth could ever reach back those days if they can manage to do their hard fork successfully without any bugs or problems in the code at all and people like it so much that they end up buying and storing a lot of ethereum without selling.

Moving something as huge as ethereum towards staking is advantageous for people who want the price to go up because when ethereum becomes PoS, many people will buy it and increase the price but instead of selling after price went up, just keep on holding it for the "interest" they are getting with staking. That is why with staking I think price will go up but all of that depends on when eth will have a successful hard fork that changes it to PoS and will people really love it like we imagine they will.

Its hard for Ethereum to reach above $1000 this year, You need to have at least 32 ETH in order to earn the staking rewards which is quite more compared to other staking coins. It might reach more than $500 but $1400 would be total exaggeration.

32 Ethereum, worth about $ 6,000. So it's not impossible for today. There will already be many opportunities for soft staking in the future. So those with less Ethereum will also be able to somehow be more in the staking process.

The DASH coin also brings in a stacking. It only takes a lot of money to buy a master coin. 32 ETH is $5408 (32X169) at the current rate, it's cheap. It's likely to pull the price up.

Anything can be possible in the crypto market, staking program for ETH is not released yet because maybe many people will start staking ETH and this makes the price of ETH coin will surely increase in the market. We don't the price, but everything depends upon the market conditions.

ETH is not so interesting without ICO. But with the overall growth of the market, there will be growth. Last year there was a trend of BNB growth.

Unfortunately, ETH is too much attached to ICO by a lot of people. Well, ETH is more than just ICOs. ICOs is not ETH. ICOs are initiative of new crypto projects, many of whom are deciding to use the Ethereum platform, because of so many reasons. It depends on the movement if bitcoin. If btc reach another ath then we can expect eth to follow since most alts are following the growth of btc (atleast the popular alts and not the shitcoins).

However lets be realistic I think $1400 is too much to expect the price will spike that high. Well $500 price is somehow close to reality and if that happens eth holders will rejoice because its been a long time since we last see eth to surge that high after its ath.

But the result will depend on how much annual yield will be offered by doing staking on ethereum platform. We know that if we become masternode in-dash and that will be much more valuable. When ether offers a very good rate for annual yield and so many people will be locking their ethereum to get the reward from the network.

Ethereum was touched 1400$ in 2017 even it was the last highest price, this is the previous historical graphic, i don't think it will repeated in this year 2020. Now price is 176$ we can expect it will up 500$ to 600$ end of the current year. If crypto market is not maintain by someone so prediction will not work here. A little bit possibility ETH an reach 1400$, many ETH platform update will come in a few months.

I don't think so. For the past few months, ethereum did not make it well. Even when the bitcoin pumping days, ethereum stayed calm. It is really stable and it reached only up to 200 dollars. It is a huge task to completely transform the entire network successfully and fork without any bugs and so is the reason they are planning to take these transformation as a step by step process as the team behind know about the huge risk they are undertaking and that means we will not see the complete fork as they planned.

It is a wet dream they have right now to think that there will be a huge investment in the coin to stake and make their investment idle. This is an impossible task to achieve as I feel Ethereum can reach a maximum of around $1000 if we have a bull run similar to 2017 that too not not guaranteed so anything over $1k for Ethereum does not sounds feasible to me.
