Personally, I think that investing in altcoin is a very profitable investment. And now there is a high probability of getting a good income. Since altcoins are in sleep mode and after an indefinite time you can get a good result. The risk in investing is always there and the one who does not take risks does not get success.

Personally I think the risk involved in investing into some altcoins is very high , thats why majority of people prefer to invest into Bitcoin. Because alot of the altcoins  are dead without any developments or progress , so any upward or downward movement in the market it will take them to their grave which they might not be able to ressurrect again.

Of course Bitcoin is everyone favorite investment, but the profit will not be much because the price of Bitcoin usually only increases from 5% to 10% if all goes well. I think investing altcoin will bring more profits but the risk will also be much higher than Bitcoin investment, so before buying please consider carefully. Personally, I always hold half of my assets in Bitcoin and the remaining 50% I will invest in some top coins like Ethereum, Binance or Ripple.

Maybe I will lose money if the bear market returns but altcoin season will definitely return again before things get worse.

High risk high reward though as most of altcoins in the market dont have usecase and not good for long term. People lost money mostly on altcoins thinking that altcoin will moon in months but most of them failed or turned out to be scam.I would suggest to hold on bitcoin, slowly getting profit over time.

It all depends on what period of time you bought altcoins. For example, ether could be well bought in December 2018 and January 2019 ... You could even get a solid profit

You are talking about shit coins that gets pumped and dumped. Only coins that are considered scam coins rise more than 100% within few hours before it gets dumped and dies. The creator of the coins hold the majority of the coins and can easily manipulate the market. This is what they actually keep on doing. Once they hold of good buying volume amount, the dump their coins causing the price to crash and die eventually.
Yeah, it becomes more profitable if you can take advantage of this pumping, but the risk associated is very high thus making investment on it not worthy at all.

it can only happen if you invest in quality altcoins. for the past 8 months, we have never seen any altcoins that move form 1usd to over 100usd. quite very hard to believe to see any altcoin that can make such moves again. it shows cryptocurrency market is declining. ether sold from 0.1 and rose to whatever price it is today.

Altcoins is really in a cheaper price but it doesn't mean that it is more profitable than bitcoin in a long term because not all altcoins are very valuable that it could increase it's price like bitcoin, that is why 98% of altcoins don't really have any good value that they always called it shitcoins.

Investing in altcoins for long term will definitely give us huge profit but it also depends on which altcoins we invested. May be some altcoins are more risky platform, because of low marketcap altcoins. Normally huge investor buy some low scale altcoins surely it will rise more than 100% and drop simultaneously at anytime. My suggestion top 50 altcoins are have huge marketcap so it is hard rise more than 10% at anytime. Nowadays good growing altcoins are available in the market so better invest right project, we make enough profit on altcoins.

Investing is not easy because you are depositing your money in a project that is long term before you can earn.
