In terms of market status of different altcoins in the market, it is quite normal for us to see an altcoin to change its market price up and down for various times. We call it, the innate characteristic of altcoin and crypto which is the volatility. But to consider, Ethereum is showing a long bearish market status for the last 2 years, but as of now, we can see its potential from market analysis that it could go back to 200 dollar anytime soon as bitcoin halving approaches. Opening up huge potential for more projects to be created to ethereum blockchain and to somehow, make our marker more alive like before.

Why only eth? I think all coins are stuck with the 2 years bear market. Bitcoin is steadily recovering and I think it will also be the same case for ethereum. They have a huge plan for this year that could change the pacing of their development for a really brand new environment which people expect to be a good one. Eth 2.0 is near the timeline and having POS blockchain as mechanism is not bad for investors who wanted to bag many while still cheap. Validators are already confirm and that will increase more in a latter time.

for 2 years all coins have suffered because the bear market is still not over and not only Ethereum wants to get out but all coins want to try to get out of the bear market. but at the moment I am sure Ethereum will rise again and there is no reason not to buy this coin now because if Eth v2 has been launched then I am sure the price will soar high.

The decrease of the ico trend gives a very huge impact on the ethereum. Through this update and the core developer of ethereum can bring back again the demand that has already lost caused by so many scam ico in the past. Ethereum 2.0 has already planned with so many improvements especially to create a new system that makes the users able to earn the passive income from the network.
There will be no another bottom again as the price looks grow steadily. The pressure from the bearish market has already ended.

no one can say this .. All we know is that ethereum will follow the BTC. these predictions are useless i had seen many articles as well which claimed the same thing. we should wait for the whales to do their move. there will always someone who will suffer loss for the whales to make money don't be that guy who will suffer the loss.

The huge potential of ethereum still remain despite of the 2 year bearish market condition that affecting much of its price, but i'm impress despite of all those hurdles, eth was steadily hold its price until now, ranging average $130- $160 against the US dollar that's quite good comparing to other coins in the market, other possible reasons was due to the slow down on ico trends or partly due to delayed implementation of the Ethereum 2.0 upgrade will that's only my opinion and i'm not an expert about it.

I think Ethereum already break downtrend with double bottom on D1 chart. The potential to grow is high right now, the only chance that ETH keep downtrend is the price break 100$ support with high sell volume. I believe we are in great time to start buying for longterm.

I always have the belief that all alts follow Bitcoin's price fluctuations. Whether it is ETH or EOS or other good alts, it will fluctuate in price with bitcoin. But now the market is adjusting again and we can wait for some time to buy ETH at a better price. I know that ETH has just broken out of the important resistance zone, but it will still have a back test, you should be more patient and buy it at the best price. I predict that in 2-3 days the price will drop to $ 158.

The problem with ETH is that its dumps are higher than its pumps. At a short term trade it might be very profitable but there is no sustainability to it in the longer term. ETH got good developments and updates this year and might start a breakout soon. With that we may see a good alt season.

I'd say that the recovery has already started.

We've already seen ETH rally from the start of the year significantly against BTC, reclaiming the 0.018 BTC support. I think that this is definitely a sign for things to come due to the fact that ETH is one of the more established coins in the cryptospace, which will definitely see a lot more interest in this mature market environment compared to smaller cap coins.

But as others said, don't expect this to be an isolated event on ETH. Other coins like IOTA, EOS, LTC etc. all have very good prospects overall this year.

Ethereum for the last 2 years has indeed become very bad because the price has dropped very large, but entering 2020 it has been seen rising slowly although not too high at least Ethereum has shown that it is still moving and still ranks second in CoinMarketCap. Personally, I believe that there will be another rally in the crypto market and of course on it ETH will show what it is capable of. I will say more, I also believe that we are just at the very beginning of a new stage in the development of the crypto market and I am sure that all events for the development and improvement of ETH are not in vain planned in the near future. All this is done specifically just for the new start of the rally in the market.
