Ethereum for the last 2 years has indeed become very bad because the price has dropped very large, but entering 2020 it has been seen rising slowly although not too high at least Ethereum has shown that it is still moving and still ranks second in CoinMarketCap. So for that I am still very sure Ethereum will come out of the bear market and will recover by 2020, maybe it only takes a few months to see it recover and become stable.
that is because there may be no development of ethereum that can trigger investors to buy ethereum again, because investors can come back again to buy coins and support to raise the price of coins when there is a good development and can be useful for many people. |

If bitcoin goes up this year, it is likely that the price of ETH will rise a bit from now. To be honest, the current price of ETH is right for its value, no one needs to use ETH like before. In the last 2 years, the price of ETH has risen sharply because of investors' need to participate in the ICO, but now the ICO is dead and people have stopped using ETH. ETH is a safe altcoin to invest in this market, but it certainly will not bring profit as much as other altcoins.

Ethereum, like all other altcoins, for 2 years in a row, we can say that they didn’t increase in price but only fell in price, this year the price of Ethereum increased slightly due to the fact that Bitcoin began to grow and all other altcoins started to follow Bitcoin as usual, but I think that after two years of waiting this year there should be some Ethereum growth.

Yes, I think so and it should happening soon-ish. The timing couldn't be better as it coincides with Bitcoin's halving which in history always leads to a massive bull run few months after. To think that ETH current price is just 90% of its ATH makes it even more attractive. To make new highs, Bitcoin would only need to 2-3x multiple its current price while ETH must go 9-10x. Seems impossible but we know alts have been far way more volatile than Bitcoin so I would put some of by bets on alts. |

Maybe. because for too long I think this bear market for 2 years on ETH. but I see the development is not very significant. and my belief ETH will be bull run due to Bitcoin halving, because every incident will have an impact on altseason, especially ETH. and the good news is that the ETH road map will release the PoS consensus algorithm. I'm sure Staking will attract many investors to try it and there will be big changes, especially in market movements.

I would love to believe that you're right, but I simply can't. Market has no strict rules/laws so we can say it would be nice for Ethereum to grow finally, but we can't say that it will for sure. I believe that chances for it to grow are high this year, because eth 2.0 with PoS will come out so it definitely will pump price, but we can't know if the pump will be big enough to revive half-dead currency. |

Ethereum is usually one of the highest gainers during each short run but it tends to drop a lot when the market is in falling.
This is because the market is connected with each other. If btc increase, major coins such as xrp and eth tend to follow the surge. But knowing ethereum plan for 2020 there is a path now where ethereum coud somehow break free as many are interested with staking eh or being validator. I'm just curious what happened in the miners who are mining eth. Investor versus miners I can say that eth can gain new investors within POS blockhain. |

In my opinion, maybe Ethereum will withdraw from the bear market. but in the near future I find it difficult if Ethereum withdraws from the market. because the Ethereum concept is very good so many people want to invest.

Ethereum is a very good option of coins to invest on and hold, its movement of lately seem very different unlike what we seen in 2019, i don't know if this has something to do with upcoming 2.0 upgrade or just the bitcoin halving but im very bullish on ETH because of its upcoming staking feature

It will but not this time. Bitcoin had not reached the peak of its rally so it is not yet time for the 2-year Bear market break for ETH. Aside from that, many are disappointed on the POS updated of ETH especially the POW miners that hinders the possible break out of that bear market and this sentiment will take time. |

Not only for Ethereum but mainly Bitcoin and all the other top coins in the market, we have high hopes this year, 2020 this is going to be the best year for us after two years and it's happening right now, we are moving slow but sure, but we will eventually get there, I'm glad that I'm accumulated and still accumulating Ethreum besides Bitcoin. |

I think that at this moment Ethereum is most likely to reverse the downward trend. Ethrereum has been falling for about 2 years already and it has to start the new bullish phase, but it is likely to happen along with the other altcoins. I think ETH is one of the best investments as it has a good development potential for the next few years.

I believe in the capability of Ethereum so I strongly believe that this year is the best year for it to recover. It has been through a lot this year so I think it will boom this year. There's a season for everything and I know that the time has come for Eth. Ethereum will have time to increase, and it will happen soon. But ethereum needs to wait for bitcoin moves to the higher price so ethereum and the other coins will follow to increase. If we are looking at the market, ethereum has a big chance to rise again after 2 years of the bear market, and ethereum still has big support from many people who like the ethereum project. I think not just ethereum that was down, but all of the coins, including bitcoin, were down too, and in the next bull run, we will see which coin that can increase higher and back to the high price.

I really do hope so as I have been hodling my ethereum since the last bullish period 2 years ago. I think with the latest development of ethereum that allows proof of staking to supporters, eth would likely pump this year. Its price has stabilized right now and the only way to go is to go up. |

Why only eth? I think all coins are stuck with the 2 years bear market. Bitcoin is steadily recovering and I think it will also be the same case for ethereum. They have a huge plan for this year that could change the pacing of their development for a really brand new environment which people expect to be a good one. Eth 2.0 is near the timeline and having POS blockchain as mechanism is not bad for investors who wanted to bag many while still cheap. Validators are already confirm and that will increase more in a latter time. The confidence is good but i highly doubt that there will be any major change in the price, the prediction of investors flooding in ETH to hold it as a dead investment is quite laughable as no one in the right mind will be doing that, the direction in which they are going is a disaster in my opinion but the developers have the final decision and they really do not care about the investors before making these huge decisions and so is the reason i am expecting it to get humbled in the coming years in terms of valuation. |

We have halving for bitcoin and we have hard fork for eth and we have many things for all other altcoins as well, this year has been great even from the first day.
This year should be break out of 2 year bear market for all coins, sure bitcoin wasn't in a bear market since it increased last year but its still low compared to ATH, so I feel like this year will be amazing for ALL good coins. If there is a horrible shitty coin that may stay down or even go down, yet all other good decent coins will have an amazing year this year. Hopefully I am not wrong, I am not an expert and I am not responsible if anyone of you just buy and get upset from the down since its altcoins and anything could happen yet I really hope we all have an amazing year in 2020.
