To be fair with ALA promotions, they are good promoters as well, but I think the extend is just only in Asia. They have developed a lot of champions in the past, but I think MP takes it to the next level because of Manny. Many advantages of having MP as your promoters, connections to other world renown boxing promoters, US main card, good pay check, so it makes sense of fighters like Casimero to switch.
ALA promotion seems like promoting their boxer by choosing a fighter that they think has a big chance of winning. I've seem some fighters of the ALA promotion in the fight that they hype until they have an international fight like a fight in the US, but most of them failed. one example is Rey Bautista, which has been winning in the PH, but when he fought in the US, he failed, and this boxer has already retired now. here's the video I search in YT. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pqp9RTKKoUgI think with Bautista's case though, it was too early for him to be put in the ring with the likes of Ponce de Leon that time. He as too green , inexperience. Yes, he was winning fights in the Philippines and knocking people out but Boom boom was rushed I believed in that fight. And after that lost he wasn't able to recover, the mental trauma for the kid was too much and we haven't heard from him after the devastating lost. Too much hype and he didn't live it up. But with MP's experienced I think we may see another Filipino being a champion under MP's promotion in the future and be able to sustained it, not just like one hit wonder Pinoy fighters.

I like the confidence. A boxer characteristic that's hungry for the win. But proved it on the judgment day instead, not by throwing words. If I'm not mistaken that's not the first time he throw words on Inoue? Not a usual behavior of any PH boxer. Still, the eagerness of making his "kababayan" proud is on high-level.

Bautista became popular (at least in the local boxing scene) because he is knocking out opponents early in his career and people fail to recognized the level of competition Bautista is having on that stage of his career. ALA was grooming him that time and i might say, they were cherry picking opponents for him thus he became a one-punch boy wonder . Bautista is lacking skill as a boxer, he is flat footed and doesn't move his head often during fights. For me, Z Gorres was the best boxer ALA stable has ever produced but people almost does not appreciate his skills because they want a knock-out puncher type like Manny Pacquaio.

Yup, this is not the first time he threw some words on Inoue but seems he is promoting the fight just like what Mayweather, Thurman did, by trash talking , but i know he can back it up with his punch come fight night.

Yes, or probably the level of competition that time was really that bad that Bautista was just knocking down opponents ALA is throwing on him. I can't recall, I think Bautista has brittle hands or got injured after or before the fight with Ponce De Leon. That's why he wasn't the same fighter anymore. He should at least have a good pay check bad then. Z Gorres is also good, but I don't know, but just like any other 'good' boxers, they seems to lack that 'It' factor to go to the next elite level like Manny Pacquiao. Love Casimero's attitude, Lol, trash talking his way in promoting his fight.

Like Mayweather, he is good in trash talking, and that he can sell fight although he wasn't really entertaining in the ring, casimero are both good in trash talk and his performance in the ring, problem is, he can't speak English fluently.

We can also consider that it's part of publicities to attract more fans to support the fight once the schedule was resume. And like what you have said this kind of style is not usual from fellow kababayan, Filipino boxers was known to be quiet but have a deadly finishing punch. Keep safe for now to this two fighters and settle everything inside the ring.

Some boxers do really have that kind of behavior or characteristic towards into their opponent and it isnt bad to express up words just because you are confident to beat up your opponent but we can somewhat able to tell if its already exaggerated and for this one i dont see any problem with this. So casimero do talks about Zolani Tete's jaw, well he do have point but wont still be an enough thing for you to be confident because even your opponent is younger but doesnt mean that he cant withstand heavy blows.

Yes, it is part of the game to hype the fight but most of the time its like a 'fake trash talk though', or at least boxing fans are not used to seeing them insulting their opponents. Manny Pacquaio is one good example, he would rather let his fight do the talking inside the ring. Maybe Inoue is trying to change that picture, but I doubt that the next generation of fighters will follow that path. Just look at Duno, he was a upcoming and then started to act before the Ryan Garcia fight. And we have see what happen to him, destroyed in one round. I would rather see Filipino fighter being humble as Pacquaio but a different animal in the ring. IMHO.

I agree on you here mate, because Filipino Boxer mostly the one who is being Bullied like Manny Pacquiao on who's for so many times being thrown by bad words from His opponent but in the end?they are all Knowdown or if not is lose. I hope that Casimero's side will stop This bad attitude but on the other hand this boost the Fans because at least for once we have a fighter that breaking the silence before the fight starts.

Pacman is exceptional, no filipino has ever come close to his achievement, so let's just take him out int he picture. I hope that Casimero's side will stop This bad attitude but on the other hand this boost the Fans because at least for once we have a fighter that breaking the silence before the fight starts.
That wasn't a bad attitude I guess, we really don't know him in personal, there are things going on inside and outside the court and as a fighter, their job is to promote the fight, when he calls for Inoue, he needs to challenge him hard by telling he is the real beast so he would be able to touch Inoue's pride and it did happen, and thanks to his attitude, we will now see the fight.

Yes, but we all know that Floyd is on a different level, he hasn't lost so obviously, he can do all the trash talking and people hate him for that. And that what makes people buy his fight, boxing fans wanted to see him lose, Lol. Probably a translator will do, Manny in the beginning needs a translator as well. But there could be some 'lost in translation' as far as trash talking though.

Z Gorres was good, I watched his fight and he did well, in fact he won, but he got injured int he head and after that, he wasn't able to fight anymore. I think the highlight of Z's career is when fought for the Super flyweight championship against the then lethal Fernando Montiel of Mexico. He almost won that fight, if only he didn't gassed out the outcome might be different. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svxEKnn5Tb8

I'm one of those people wanting Money to lose against anybody lol. Sadly it didn't happen though. Mayweather is too smart even outside the boxing ring. For me Casimero is just showing his confidence that he can tame the monster. He has been through many wars and won through it and for him this fight is no different, only this time a lot of media coverage and the expectation for him to win amongst his kababayan is high. I think he needed to shake off the monkey on his back .

He is too smart in paying the judges too, lol. I've watch some of his fights especially those controversial ones, i think he lose against Zab Judah, Jose Luis Castillo and Marcos Maidana, but the judges all favors mayweather to win here.. only way to beat him is to knock him down, but he is good in running, so no one can knock him out. For me Casimero is just showing his confidence that he can tame the monster. He has been through many wars and won through it and for him this fight is no different, only this time a lot of media coverage and the expectation for him to win amongst his kababayan is high. I can feel you 'kabayan' hahaha we all wanted to see him lose specially against Pacquaio back then, but he is too slick and can't be hit by Manny's left. Yeah, Casimero is really very confident at this point, maybe he really feel good and can 'upset' the monster with his power and experience and with the support of Filipinos around the world.

What I am expecting is that this fight will be move to another schedule but what I read here is that its off for now, so there is no assurance when they will fight and even if the pandemic is over, Arum still cannot assume this will push through.

That's also what I'm thinking because they don't have a choice. The covid-19 is still pushing through for most countries and that's why rescheduling for this match is expected. But if Arum decides to postpone this match and tells that it won't happen anymore, many fans will be disappointed.

Damn, this is indeed a very bad news for us boxing fans. This fight if push through should have been the turning point of Casimero's career if he turn victorious. Anyways, i am also confident that Sean Gibbons will do it's best to make the fight happen on a later time. It is also possible that Arum realizes that Casimero is really a dangerous opponent for Inoue that might derail his plan for the kid . It is with a heavy heart that i am going to lock this thread in maybe 24 hours as this match may no longer happen for now. Damn COVID-19.

^^ But it doesn't mean that they are not going to face in the future though. I agree that it is very sad to read this news as everyone was really hype about this fight. But then again this invisible enemy (virus) was the spoiler. I'm sure that this reunification will happen in the future, when everything has settled down.
