June is what Sean Gibbons (MP Promotions president) might be the new date of this match but i think you are right, this might be pushed to August or September. He just might be too optimistic that this corona virus crisis will be over soon, that's why he promised an earlier date.

Initially people did not take this virus seriously and most of the people thought that this will be over by Mid April. This is now looking impossible as the corona-virus cases are increasing every day and we cannot be sure what is the Estimated resolution time for this virus to stop spreading.

That's a good estimate, the virus is messing the place and without the cure, all they can do is to disinfect the area but what about people carrying the virus, maybe there are some advance technology like a camera that would detect if a person is having covid or not, but still that's is not safe considering the big number of people in the venue, they can't put the lives of the people at risk by opening it soon without the vaccine.

Still boils down as how US are going to handle the COVID-19 pandemic, so for now I wouldn't expect a definite date for this fight. Again many sport events schedule are pretty messed up, so unless a vaccine is discovered, many boxing events are going to be extended. Yes, let's say that in the next 6 months or so, we might not see any boxing match.

That's very unfortunate for Casimero but we already have a ban from all coming from the US soil, so he might not allow coming home even if he wants to because he is coming from a country with the most number of Covid infection, this is a really bad situation for him, he needs to isolate himself until the curve flattens in the US, I hope he is going to be ok until the virus is out of the US.

yeah we can't blame the man but the problem is he will surely face a bit of complication as the Filipinos are facing  discrimination about those possible Virus carrier and since he was now from US he might be one of those to suffer such.

Maybe he already got bored there in the US that's why he is contemplating on going back to the Philippines. The best thing for him to do now is to stay put in the US, if he fear to get contaminated with the virus then he should stay indoors. If things gets worst in the US and he contacted the disease i think he can shrugged it off just like another punch that hit his body. He is young and a very healthy individual, he won't die from this virus.

No way. Everyone must follow the protocol no matter who's the person involved. Anyhow, there's a current PH travel restriction. It's for everyone's safety so set aside self purposes.

Honestly, he is lucky that he can stay at his hotel, unlike seafarers that need to go home mandatory. They are the ones who will put on a hassle way before going back home since mandatory quarantine is required plus the worries that they don't want their family to be infected once they got home.

I understand Casimero, who else doesn't want to be alongside with our family in the current situation, but if he truly loved his family, stay at the hotel until everything is controlled. We want to go back to our family not worrying we carry the virus. I don't understand what you do you mean by discrimination. No one is immune to the virus, so you can't put the discrimination card in the table here. Everyone should be tested, not by the colour of one's skin. Haven't you seen that US tops the world in virus cases?

But he risk everything if he try to attempt to go back in the Philippines. Worst case scenario is that he could be carrier for all we know and then transmit it to his families back home.

I cannot watch this game live but I'll sure get a PPV if there is one so I can enjoy it, but since it's been postponed, then let's get ourselves with other things. Probably, because the fight is obviously cancelled that's why he is contemplating on staying with his family on this time. However, US won't just simply allow him because of a travel ban. And I guess he is not the only athlete to be caught in this scenario. He is a warrior after all and I think he can survived. Yes, he can just stay in touch with his family in the Philippines and he should be the one calming them, not the other way around. Besides he is a healthy body and if ever he can get infected, chances are he is going to through to it. Consider this as a big mental test and he can pass it.

He is really on a dilemma right now. But I would agree that he can't just go home today. No way that US will allow him to go home because he just wanted to be his family. I'm sure his management will take care of his family in the Philippines, specially his boss, Manny Pacquiao. So he has nothing to worry about, he just need to still prepare because this is his biggest fight. He needs to be safe while waiting for the resume of this fight, no need to go out but keep conditioning himself inside his house wherever he's residing
right now, the virus don't choose anyone so better to stay from where he is and keep every vitamins and supplements that he needed.

Maybe because most of the Filipino boxing fans are very supportive of their compatriot, me included and the fact that most of those who voted in the poll are Filipinos, no doubt that Casimero won via landslide  .

The fight will push through, it's not cancelled just postponed. Both boxers just need to survive this pandemic and not succumbed to it.
