It's still recommended to buy not yet late but the biggest opportunity was last year when Bitcoin was trading at $6000 to $7000 level, but like what I said it's not yet late as long as you are buying before halving you are in a good profit after the halving, that is if you can hodl your portfolio and sell it at the right time.

Yep, the biggest opportunity was at the end of last year when the price was still in the range of 6k-7k usd and I don't know why many missed that opportunity and are just discussing buy now. it's okay to buy now because bitcoin currently is down, so this is an opportunity too. if still in doubt, try to buy even a little is still good. so agree, it's still very recommended to buy bitcoin.

Having a good trust to this industry, you can keep buying while there's no big pumped that's happening inside the market. This current level still gives a good chance for those who are willing to take the risk and will be aiming for long term investment. Buying and holding your assets till the bull show strongly.

ATH happened in 2017 and now 2020 is the year where Bitcoin will do something big, yes its halving, bitcoin dominance is also high, it shows that people are holding bitcoin, so buying now has the potential to achieve profits.

Yes maybe this is a good opportunity to buy Bitcoin. I buy some Bitcoin every month, if I have extra money. I think 2020 could be a golden year for Bitcoin. However, no one can say with 100% guarantee here. Whether that will actually be it. Each deep one is a chance to buy some more Bitcoin. Who buys at the right time gets a good profit. For those who buy bitcoin for the sort term, they should do market analysis first. I was weak in market analysis! so I bought for long term.

But for those like me who buy Bitcoin for the long term, there is a good chance of buying Bitcoin until the new ATH.

We can't argue more on bitcoin as recommended, but it should include some of the promising altcoins. They're not less valuable unless it totally goes down of its price, which eventually became one of those shitcoins. What the op tried to say here was Bitcoin opportunity of buying while we're in the dip, because every opportunity to comes after price declination.

Yeah bitcoin is moving up and down but instead of waiting for more we should buy right now, time tells us what to do and today's time saying to make remarkable purchasing. I think in the coming two years we are going to see a pump in price and then holders will celebrate earning profit from bitcoin while waiters are going to wait so long for buying again at a lowest price like today.

In my opinion, this little dump will not stay for a long period and it may last up to a week or possibly two. Plus, it is certain that this period is kinda appropriate for buying and holding some cryptocurrencies like, Bitcoin, XRP, Bitcoin cash, Ethereum especially Bitcoin SV because that coin is in a massive progress especially in this, you can make a significant profit in a short period.
Finally, you should remember the profit in Bitcoin is guaranteed in all the time, so try to HOLD most of your budget into BTC and the same thing for ETH due to they are basically linked. Don't be afraid and start buying now.

It will not be a genius to say that smart investors were buying during 2018 and early 2019 when BTC was only worth $3000. While I consider any price below $10000 to be a good investment, there were still plenty of opportunities to buy cheaper. Just a month ago (a week before Christmas), the price was around $6500, so when I see someone starting buying now I wonder what he has been doing over the past months or maybe years. I know the tactics of those who buy every month, regardless of the price - but this is something else entirely.

I also heard people saying that other people could buy when the price was at $8800 because they believed the price would reach $ 11500 ... But the price dropped from $9200 to $8300 and that is a very big loss for people who bought at $9100.

I bought in every low. I just registered in this forum. So actually this is one of my firsts topics. & many agree that at THIS TIME, buying that dip was a good move. It will be difficult seeing low 8k or 7k again.

I'm buying the dip since a long time ago and I will keep buying Bitcoin as long as I have money to spare. This dip under 10k$ is pure awesomeness for investors and those who are looking to hold Bitcoin for long term or just until the next bull run.

Also don't buy if you can't afford to hold Bitcoin for a while instead of looking for a quick opportunity to get rich quick ...this is not the way so stop searching for it here.

my money are all on ethereum , but once it is hits the all time high and bitcoin undervalued i usually switch them all at once to bitcoin so i have much more bitcoin collected than ever before , why? i play with ethereum undervalued first and move on bitcoin later hehe.

No, I have not. And I'm glad I made that choice.

I know some people have made lots of money with ethereum, but the problem I see is that ethereum is to weird for the normal investor. Just think about BTC, it's been really complicated to explain it to normal people. Now imagine explaining ethereum. People like to invest in things they understand. BTC is in the eyes of some big investors. Ethereum is not, unless that investor is geek, which is a very low percentage. Another problem I see with ethereum is that it doesn't have a max supply. The amount of coins that can be created every year is 18 million vs less than 1 million in BTC.

Now is time for BTC. Not for ethereum.

for now you can look at ethereum price , where are they now? they are still in the bottom where any other altcoins such as bitcoin cash , bitcoin sv, ethereum classic, dash and many more has made their moves to double up from the bottom.

now it is a time for ethereum to make a move , $400 is my price target next.

We havec two dips of 500$. But I m still waiting for more decline in price. 8400$ is still not an advisable price for bitcoin to buy. I will buy until I see price coming around $6000. Good luck.

After just a week the price of bitcoin has gone up even more and it is at a very important level, if it can break from this there will be a confirmation that the bull run is on, but there is a big resistance here and if it is incapable of doing it maybe we could see the price going back to 8k but I am not so sure we are going to see the price reaching 6k again but if we do then people need to get ready and buy all the bitcoin they can since most likely that will be the last time we see such an opportunity.

I knew that bitcoin would fall back in December 2017. I understood that the price will gradually decrease, then there will be a phase of uncertainty. And after that again the price increase.

Think of buying is really a good idea if we are willing to take the risk in crypto and even not get bothered if we hear some negative news around. 
Because in some cases is that some investors are just easily getting FOMO'ed when they hear like this. And if we go into this kind of investment, we need also to learn to become proactive and to be patient, there is no instant ROI in crypto that is why if we don't have these things, better not to try otherewise you are just compromising yourselves.

I do not acquiring bitcoin just because the halving is near, I accumulating nowadays because the market is bull. I'm a trend follower and holding at bullish market is one of the best strategy to use because the market is continuing to increase. There are many strategies that we can use when we are going to buy bitcoin. I often buy bitcoin when its price surpass the resistance because the previous resistance will become support and a new resistance will form and it is a characteristic of a healthy market.
