Pornhub launches payments in stablecoin Tether

They decided to use stablecoin Tether because they want to avoid the market volatility it seems. Well, that makes sense because both parties doesn't have to worry about the price decrease/increase or things. The others have been saying that it won't have any affect on cryptocurrency in general, that might be true.

Well, we could take this as a good news, right? I mean, more platforms or stores now accepting cryptocurrency as a payment options.

I think this development is quite interesting, by using USDT as a payment medium on the adult site I think it can indeed attract the use of crypto and also promote this crypto industry. although currently its use is on adult sites like this, I think crypto transactions will be able to be used in other industries.

Most likely these kinds of websites are in the frontline when it comes to adopting, justs like this. Surely this is a great help in the community having a lot of websites accepting cryptocurrency could influence a lot of people that use it. I think this is a great asset in their websites as cryptocurrency is becoming popular on the internet even in these adult websites for sure a lot of people could use this payment method on the website so for sure promotion and as a payment method.

What's wrong with this? Cryptocurrency adoption not only restricted to fields we do want to be included. Yes Government can react on this, but the fact that they dont have laws so far to govern crypto, this kind of thing will continue. Pornhub is a famous site as know it and they can't easily pull up a restrain order for this achievement of tether.

It does not increase the social trust in cryptocurrencies as you think. The reason for the new means of payment in USDT is because they were punished by Paypal and they could not find a better credit company than Tron wallet. Besides, they also know that there are many people now trading with cryptocurrencies so the payment will also be easier and no identity will be revealed. anyway, I find that crypto is pretty great at paying for sensitive services like this one.

they are a big industry and their achievement is the use of crypto in their platforms. I think it's good, and governments in each country have different regulations in the implementation of adult sites like this. so so far there won't be a big problem, I rather think this is the development of this industry especially at the beginning of this year.

This is an indication of a growing community and development of their platform, basically, having to pay all the people they need to pay is quite hard if they don't adapt ways on easier payment system and method. With the growing number of people, the task is getting harder and harder, and that is when they see the opportunity that cryptocurrency could bring, and to help them solve it easily. Why stable coin? Because they don't bother using volatile crypto because it is pure business transactions.

When Verge announced that they have been partnered with Pornhub, the coin pumped and then dumped immediately after the announcement has been broadcast online. I still remember this event because this is also the time that I lost half of my funds in trading because I got FOMO'ed with it. STUPID VERGE COIN.

Now they are accepting Tether which is I think better compare to that shitcoin Verge at least they are showing signs that they are accepting cryptocurrencies in their site. Although this is a good news, the market isn't affected by this news for some reasons but still I don't care about it because I'm not paying a single penny just to watch this videos as I can watch it for free .

if they are already aware with usdt , they already used a crypto   but i dont think that most pornhub users are crypto related because pornhub wasnt a new site and its a general site with no relation to crypto whatsoever  . sites like this usually use comon payment methods (not crypto ) but if the crypto grows more , the chance of crypto being used on many online sites is also higher . but why usdt ? why not btc or eth ? arent these cryptos already accepted before usdt ?

That team was from the previous year struggling to adopt cryptocurrencies for their platform when they announced to adopt verge coin for some of their websites and after that a few months ago I heard that they are in partnership with ROC coin and now they announced the tether coin for their platform. They know the importance of cryptocurrencies that is why they are working hard to adopt a coin which will support their community.

Their support will really increase the adoption stage at least starting with their own users even though the company is in a certain segment, and this time they are testing the user's interest in coins that are relatively stable, I think this is a good progress.

Very nice! It's small things like that, that increase adoption and bring every day folks to the crypto sphere. Hopefully they will start adding other coins too cause thether is a meh option. But I guess the average joe will feel more comfortable with it! And I bet some won't resist the temptation and turn some into btc or other alts.

I really agree if Pornhub uses tether (stable coin) as a means of payment in the Pronhub. This would be a more enjoyable thing, because using the stable coin is structurally the crypto we can more freely when compared to PayPal. And it will automatically lift the performance of TRON too. The actual reason of them to adopt a stablecoin along with other variable coin is that many users of the pornhub are unaware with the cryptocurrencies so they are also not familiar with the fluctuating price of the coins and they worry about their money when they see their coins changing the price and are not able to adopt such a coin so pornhub is adopting even a stable coin along with other coins to satisfy these users.
