I don't think so, if google owns a cryptocurrency, it's certainly a centralized currency, and people won't like it. I think that is the common weakness of the giants in the world of cryptocurrencies.

Absolutely agree with you, If they overcome legal issues and create a cryptocurrency for themselves, it certainly will be a centralized cryptocurrency. And many people will not like and use it in this market so I think they will never create cryptocurrency for themselves

I don't think it's possible for Google to start a crypto currency project because of US government terms and condition. And the valueable question is why should google need that..? They already have a payment system "Google Pay" (which is not crypto currency though). So starting another currency is really silly thought.

First of all google do not control everything. They are just giant company in digital world. If some how google start a crypto project (if) there is no way i can see that it'll beat Bitcoin. May be it'll hive like Libra (which is own by social media giant Facebook) but end of the story it'll never gonna beat Bitcoin. Because they are not gonna decentralized their project (if they start) like Bitcoin.

Google coin will still fall under altcoin like any future coin like Libra. Well google coin won't be compared with bitcoin because will design a stable coin and not something that is unregulated and open to any form of analysis or big traders manipulating the market to cause market FOMO/FUD. I rather trade bitcoin and use google coin for services.

I don't think so, if google owns a cryptocurrency, it's certainly a centralized currency, and people won't like it. I think that is the common weakness of the giants in the world of cryptocurrencies.

Nowadays, cryptocurrencies are still centralised, still not 100% decentralized, that's because there are still influences from the project that control the price and can be manipulated

I disagree with your point of view, i think there are many dynamics and factors for the success of a coin, coming from a renowned company or brand is just one factor, for crypto coins the ingredients to success are basically decentralization and open ledger which i do not think all these private owned coins can bring fully just see libra, so i think btc will remain the king even if all companies launch their own coins.

I don't think so. It will not easy to beat bitcoin because bitcoin already has big fans, and they still use bitcoin as the leader in the crypto world. Google coin itself needs to compete with the other altcoin and not bitcoin, which I am afraid it is not easy to do that because every strong altcoin at the market will not let Google takes their position at the market. Google can have its own digital currency, and I think Google is already doing this. However, they are not yet telling people about that because they still research more about cryptocurrency. We can wait for more news from Google.

This reminds me the case of Facebook coin which no one knows about it again, if it will see the light of the day later on or not. Yes, Google have a very large user base and can easily make its users to adopt it, but yet again the case scenario of Facebook might come to play again. Also, on the other hand, talking about privacy, I don't think it will be adhered to because there will likely be a way to control the privacy of users and this is where bitcoin will beat it straight away. Since privacy is becoming a trending issue in the world today, it will be hard for Bitcoin to be overlooked.

In my own opinion, google would never think that they will make their own cryptocurrency because i assume that they don't have any interest about cryptocurrency, that is why they are some issues in YouTube that they deleted a huge numbers of crypto videos that they stated it was just a bug or a mistake, but i think it was on purpose because why only crypto videos?

bitclave is actually a dead project and as you can see that the developer has rarely updated the project and investors have been loosing all of their money in this crap coin. I can say if this is a scam coin because i have been getting trapped too. google has so many options and compared with bitclave and that's a non sense thing.

Well, it will be a big and great news if ever Google will also join the trend of creating and launching its own cryptocurrency just like what Facebook will be on launching its Libra coin. Even if such thing would happen, we still cannot say if the coin that will be launch by Google can beat up the Bitcoin hype because yes, indeed that Google is a very well-known or popular site where we can access the whole internet, that could gather a lot of potential investors, still Bitcoin is the most trusted and well-known cryptocurrency of all time. Well, it depends on the features that the cryptocurrency coin of Google can provide which is something new to the public. It will be hard for any coin to beat Bitcoin because bitcoin is so decentralized unlike most coins we see today. Now we all know that Google is in charge of many online services today, which if they should have their own token will have a large amount of users but can we really trust them with our data or can our privacy really be respected? Google has a number of dApps including various payment methods, entertainment media, and much more. By any chance if ever google launch their own utility token than I am sure that they would have a number of users who would buy their coin which would be used for internal payments. Google would make huge benefits by launching any such coin and also the price for such coin would drastically rise in greater amount. But yet, comparing it with bitcoins might not be reliable.

Bitcoins would still be mother coin for even that coin launched by google. Bitcoins would have a huge demand in the coming future which would surely boost the price and it would never be possible for any new launched coin to even cross 50% of the valuation for bitcoins.

Almost all of the people is a user of the google platform which means they are subscribers of it si if you will ask us if the google will be able to have it's own digital currency and if it may beat bitcoin my answer is absurd. There is a chance that digital currency of google will be able to beat bitcoin because when it comes to the number of users of bitcoin and if they will be able to support the digital currency that may produced by the google then it will be a boom for the currency of google because I am pretty sure that a massive number of people will support it.
