Also found this, you can add his friends  Grin
http://profileengine.com/people/73860042/tana.bias#/people/100121524/yannik.bindo

If i dont get my coins back, just want to shame him!

You are going to harass the friends of someone who *might have* scammed you?  I think what will happen:
"your friend conned me out of money"
"yeah, how?"
"bitcoin"
"lollllz"  *blocked*

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461
No longer a wannabe - now an ASIC owner!

Don't do the harass friends thing..

But I was thinking he uploaded some photo's on here he would have taken with his phone (possibly)
If we can track down those pictures on the internet (man I wish i remember where he uploaded them to) they may contain the geotag data of where he took them

If he took them with a device with location data on it will tell us pretty much exactly where his house was..

Now to get the archives on this post somehow and get the links to the pictures..

The thread has been archived here... with all the pictures and videos intact

https://bitcointa.lk/threads/open-2-65th-s-hosting-shares-for-sale-using-15-antminers-starting-31-03.284835/

Now to try and extract the data

Ugh...
pictures shot with an iPhone 3GS and rotated in Windows 7, no gps info

How a guy with an iphone 3gs and that have such profile pictures (= poor man that wanna show off his wealth but can't afford it), can own 15 antminers is beyond my comprehension
Probably he bought the antminers on a loan and the work in electric company is bullshit

Another interesting development

He bought units in a group buy on the forums from an active member
Might be able to shed some light on his location

Look here

It would seem it's lost in the system Sad

The PM with his address has been deleted and there would also be concerns about personal information

Don't know the T&C's of the forum but if a moderator could restore btcminor01's PM's the information would be right there for the taking!

Also go's by the handle "luccehh"

I'm getting closer by the day, really hope he is watching this, return all our coins and I'll stop.

Also spoke to a lady in the Netherlands from the group he was playing games with, she put the phone down when I mentioned his name.

To be honest I don't even care about the coins

If in the unlikely event that the coins get returned I will donate them all to charity Smiley

Would be happy just to see a scammer brought to justice

It's quite likely that's the guy
I went through all his posts on the cloned forum and I don't think he intended initially to do any scamming otherwise he wouldn't have divulged so much information

Just took advantage of the situation when it arose...

I can in all honesty say that it was not me..
I was investigating it through the mirrored bitcointalk forums.. I have no idea who runs them but you think it might have had something to do with that?

No one else here knew about the purchases he made from you other than me before I went searching because all his posts were deleted

VERY VERY.... strange and suspicious

No? What did it say?

Didn't think to take a screen shot.

Something along the lines of...

I don't have the message with his address as I declutter my inbox. Plus as a reseller I wouldn't be able to provide the info. Your best asking a mod if they can find the messages.

Not bogus,
it might be completely unrelated to this to be honest,
it was just a coincidence on the timing as to when crashoverirde  contacted me,
they guessed my secret question right, i was then sent an email saying

Hi,

your question was unsecure. Please consider this as a wake-up call.

To unlock your account please send 0.05 Bitcoins to 1DcFX8h2jDcLnaSyz7RzuqPj86URJjwR1z. I will send you the password then.
Take this as a allowance or "ticket" for your inattention.

You can also send a message to the administrator of Bitcointalk. But the administrator is very slow and it can take weeks until your account is
unlocked.
However, I promise you that your account is safe but only "locked". I will not log-in again.

Sincerly,
Wh1tehat

I ended up contacting theymos, and have had my account restored,
TBH whatever
i am just waiting for the moderator gmaxwell to remove the warning on my trust settings,  as I told him my a account was compromised

edit- gmaxwell has removed the negative trust, account fully restored, lesson learnt - don't have an obvious answer to the secret question

did you delete your post in this topic saying that you don't have his address anymore, or the hacker did it?

Looks like this guy is now scamming people on Ebay

A concerned user was googling his name and found our thread

We have some more information and I think we should create a bounty to track this person down and bring him to justice

Here is the new information that we have

This is his Ebay profile
http://www.ebay.nl/usr/2013papatango

This is his address

Milembo Bindo
Kroonstraat 1
1750, Sint-Qwintens-Lennik
BE
phone +3222303654

I've been told as well someone actually bought and picked up a Macintosh from him
He is an African male about 40 years old

Which matches the pics that we posted in the thread earlier
