For now maybe some altcoins that have a large market capitalization such as eth and ltc is a good investment because since the corona virus is spreading, both altcoins have experienced a fairly low price drop so if we invest money in eth and ltc altcoins of course we can benefit when the price of eth and ltc has increased after the corona virus disappeared, and the main reason you should choose investment in eth and ltc is that both altcoin has a large enough capitalization and community, so, it is very unlikely that eth and ltc will become shit coin in the future.

You really correctly said about ETH as a profitable choice, especially in the current circumstances in the cryptocurrency market, when it is best to pay attention only to those moments that have a large capitalization, which means that there is constant demand among cryptocurrency users and have good prospects in the future.  Today, almost the majority of all my assets I have is Ethereum, and not other altcoin.

That's not a lot of money for you to diversify your investment in altcoins. I think the best way is that you should invest 0.1BTC and BNB and the remaining 0.1BTC invest in XLM or altcoins outside the top 100 to bet your profit. And remember that you should invest in new and low altcoins, they have a chance to be pumped if the market uptrend.

   I fell a lot of negativity in your comment! Risk exist, nobody can't deny that, but I doubt that any of the top coins, with many other
alt-coins, will go to zero just like that.
   I believe that every person involved with crypto-currencies more than a year have more than one coin! We start with one coin, but
soon we start to discover crypto-world and we get in other coins too. Who start for the first time should start with Bitcoin or Ethereum,

Investing in the top altcoin is always the best choice for investing because we already know once the price of Bitcoin is recovering, there is a huge chance for altcoins to recover their prices. I myself researching more to invest more in top altcoin during this downtrend.

You are right, people should focus on the top altcoins because the price of best altcoins has decreased. This is a very good opportunity for the investors to grab the higher volume coins. Instead of focusing on other low valued coins, better focus on investing top 50 altcoins.

OP is just looking for one altcoin to invest, he maybe is trying to go aggressive with investing and go all in.
Yes, top altcoins are good but it does limit your profitability too same with limiting the risk because you diversified, but if one person focus on one coin and they hit the jackpot, they'll likely enjoy a big profit because of their action, with that, I would choose to invest either ETH or BNB, but BNB is more valuable to me now.

You are right, people already know what was the other coin we should choose after Bitcoin, is the only Ethereum. Of course, there are some other potential companies like BNB, EOS, ALGO, LTC, ICX etc., which these companies have active developments and they are actively generating some good volumes in the market.

before choosing you can first see a list of projects that will update in the period that you like. that information can be found on the internet. because when the project undergoes renewal of course it will show a market movement because of the support of the community and interested investors.

I would recommend you to watch on coinmarketcap and see there the top20 altcoins . The most important thing when you want to invest in a altcoin is that  the volume must be high and also the age must be more than few years.
