I am not sure that I fully understand your question, but regarding the charts I simply make them by taking data from Merit Dashboard and ninjastic.space.

Now, what happened in Greece? The people there got tired of handing out merits. It was amazing.

I guess they are just not that active and often they don't even have a single merit sent so it was a big surprise to see 30 being sent last month, and all for 1 post.

Here is yet another (not so) brief monthly overview of the local boards activity, this time for March 2025. all charts and table are made using data from @DdmrDdmr Merit Dashboard and @TryNinja Ninjastic.space while images are uploaded via TalkImg.com - Image hosting for BitcoinTalk made by @joker_josue.

Communities marked with * (Pakistan, Bangladesh) don't have their own local boards yet and that's something that I hope will change eventually.


Post activity per local board during March 2025

During March, 14279 posts were made across local boards which is an increase compared to February's numbers (13466). The increase is not that big, but its surely a positive thing.

Once again Russian board has been the most active one but it wasn't so much ahead of the others, mainly Nigerian board whose activity has been increasing in the recent months and if they continue like this I can see them finally overtaking the Russians.

Active members per local board during March 2025

In the above mentioned period, 1338 forum members wrote at least 1 post on one of the local boards and that makes it a slight drop compared to month before (1383 members) which is a surprise given the increase in the number of posts.

Once again Russian board is at the top, while Nigerians are still far ahead at the 2nd spot and then once again there is a big drop between them and Indonesian/German local boards at 3rd and 4th spot.

When it comes to the percentage of members who wrote only 1 post in their board during March, leader of course is Greek local board where all of their active members (7 of them) wrote only 1 post each while at the same time Croatian local board had only 12% of such members.

In the 2-9 posts bracket leader is Polish local board with 63% while beside already mentioned Greek local board where no one wrote more than 1 post, 2nd lowest was Romanian local with 14%.

Regarding the 10+ posts bracket, Croatian board is the leader with 62% of such members while at the same time (beside Greeks), 2nd lowest was Polish local with 12%.

Merit shared per local board during March 2025

During March 2025, 6758 merit was shared across the local boards which is a solid increase compared to February (6182 merit). Majority of the local boards have more or less similar amount of merit shared as in previous month, with Turkish board sticking out due pretty big increase (from 305 to 719).

Speaking about the most merited local boards, German remained at the top despite the decrease (down from 1585) while Russians (who are usually at the top) are 2nd and Nigerians not that far behind them at 3rd spot with a potential to reach the top.

Merit/Post ratio per local board during March 2025

Due similar increase of merit shared and posts written, an average merit per post ratio for March remained similar to the one in February (0.47 March-0.46 in February) but this time Romanian has the highest merit per post ratio, overtaking Germans who are now at the 2nd spot. Tbh, their (talking about German local) very high merit/post ratio is even more impressive considering their activity as its much easier to keep the ratio high if you only write few dozens of posts.

During March, 538 members sent merit on one of the local boards while 559 received which is an increase compared to February (480 senders, 530 receivers)

Percentage of merited posts across local boards during March 2025

Once again Romanian board is at the top and this time with even higher percentage of merited posts than during February (47.17), while at the same time Pilipinas local is again at the bottom with only 7% of merited posts but French and Indonesian are not much better either.

No surprises on this chart - local boards with higher merit/post ratio generally tend to send higher amount of merit per each transaction.

The most active members per local board during March 2025

Last but not the least, the list of the most active members per local board.

After few months we have a change at the top: during March jokers10  from Russian local board was the most active one with 169 posts, 2nd was joker_josue from portuguese boatrd who wrote only 3 posts fewer while another member from Russian local (klarki) was at the 3rd spot with 141 posts written during March in his local board. And Yes,  we shall definitely achieve the milestone of surpassing the Russia local board very soon, because to be frankly speaking, I must confess that I'm actually happy to see my local board (i.e Nigeria) progress positively in both activity and number of dedicated active users mpnthly. Because it is indeed a privilege to have my local board top the list of the local boards with  the highest number of users to make at least above 10 posts monthly. As if the number of users who makes lesser than 10 post monthly could double their post counts next month, we stand a greater chance of getting close to the Russians, or simply surpassing them, which I will be very much happy if we can achieve this my Nigerian people.

Will see. Once before you were on the track to surpass them eventually but then for whatever reason your numbers went down so let's see if you can keep the momentum this time. Just having high numbers is not the most important thing though, as its much better to have quality discussions and low amount of spam than just having bunch of nonsense written there (not saying that you do though).

Out of curiosity, are those brand new members who joined the forum and decided to stick around, or old, previously inactive members who returned to the forum (perhaps motivated by the current Bitcoin cycle).
In the Polish board, we very rarely see any new joiners who would stay active for longer. Pretty much all activity comes from old accounts. Any newbies would usually post a quick question asking for advice, maybe engage a little bit with responses, and then disappear. I guess the low general activity doesn't help in attracting new members (a bit of a chicken-and-egg problem).

One of them registered few months ago while other one is an old member who reactivated recently.

In the Polish board, we very rarely see any new joiners who would stay active for longer. Pretty much all activity comes from old accounts. Any newbies would usually post a quick question asking for advice, maybe engage a little bit with responses, and then disappear. I guess the low general activity doesn't help in attracting new members (a bit of a chicken-and-egg problem).

Its pretty much the same thing on Croatian board, with almost only exception being this situation know thga we have, and I think it's pretty much the same thing across forum in general. Unfortunately, very few new members come and stick around for longer period of time.

Not exactly brand new.
One of the members I was talking about registered in 2018 but he was not active since than.
If we look at last few months and back in 2024 we had several new members that made significant impact in our local board.
Some of them are have periodic breaks in activity because they are busy in personal life.

Post activity per local board during April 2025

During April, 12356 posts were written across local boards which is a noticeable decrease compared to March (14279 posts).

Majority of this decrease goes to 2 most active local boards, Russian and Nigerian while rest is shared across the other local boards. Also, while Russian board remained the most active one, Nigerian is coming dangerously close to them and I can see them overtaking the Russians in the near future if this trend continues.

Active members per local board during April 2025

During the last month, 1235 members wrote at least 1 post in one of the local boards, which is an expected decrease compared to month before (1338) and explains why there was feweer posts in April.

Once again the majorify of the drop goes to the 2 most active boards, with Russian having 100 fewer members active less which is a pretty huge decrease in such a small time period.

When it comes to the members who wrote only 1 post, leader is Indian board with 67% of such members, while on the other side Nigerian local board had only 11%.

In the 2-9 posts bracket leader is the Greek local with 57% while Portuguese local board had only 17% of those members.

Regarding the 10+ posts bracket, Croatian is the leader with 57% while Greek local board is at the bottom with no members that wrote 10+ posts during April.

Merit shared per local board during April 2025

The amount of merit shared drop as well; from 6758 in March to 5873 in April. Russian and Nigerian local boards are not resposnible this time for such a big drop, and instead it was due big decrease in German board ( from 1393 down to 662). Let's hope it was just a temporary setback and they recover in the next monthly overview.

Merit/Post ratio per local board during April 2025

During April, the average merit per post ratio for local board was 0.47. meaning exactly the same as month before.

Once again Romanian board remained at the top, but this time with even higher ratio than during March, followed by two suprising names: Pakistan and Polish local boards who I don't remember seeing so high on this chart, but kudos to them. Unfortunately, Pilipinas board remins far behind the others and I don't think their situation will hcnage until they get few more merit sources appointed. (if they have any in the first place.

During April, 519 members sent while 579 received merit which is not that off compared to month before (538/559). To be honest, I expected that number or those who receive recieved merit will be lower than month before due overall decrease of merit shared, but for some reason that didn't happen which is a good thing.

No changes at the top here as once again Romanian board is in the lead and this time with 68.75 % of merited posts which is a solid increase compared to already high 60% from March. Then on the other side of the chart we have Pilipinas board with only 5% of posts that got merited. Something has to change there, imho these guys need merit source asap.

Once again jokers10 form the Russian board has been the most active one with 161 post, joker_josue from Portuguese local has been not so far behind at the 2nd spot with 152 posts while klarki from Russian board has been 3rd with 132 posts written during April. I find it incredible how merits circulate on the Romanian board.

They don't make many posts, but all the posts deserve merits. The content must be very good. I have to go there for a visit.

No changes at the top here as once again Romanian board is in the lead and this time with 68.75 % of merited posts which is a solid increase compared to already high 60% from March. I remember some time ago someone was faking to be a native Italian speaker in order to farm merit there. Maybe you should try the same thing, but in Romanian board.

I don't even have to pretend much. My wife has a Romanian course, I just have to ask if I'm writing well.
