Its time for yet another brief monthly overview of local boards activity, this time for October 2025.

Thank you for another montthly report, and thanks to our local king Slacko for setting the new records  
Correct me if I am wrong, but I think that our local board is one of the most active boards in form considering number of active users we currently have, except maybe Portuguiese board.

Impressed by Nigerian numbers. They are basically the double as the second one, the Russian local!

Yep. Russian activity went down a lot, while Nigerian keep increasing. It will be inetersting to see how much more they gonna continue to grow.

It is interesting to note how the merit ratio continues to rise on almost all local boards.

It was expected ever since theymos approved new local board merit sources.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think that our local board is one of the most active boards in form considering number of active users we currently have, except maybe Portuguiese board.

We have the 2nd average posts per member ratio, after Portuguese board.

The only thing a bit worrying is that the number of active members has dropped. A shame.

This number will fluctuate because all that is needed is 1 post written in the month to be included, so I wouldn't be so worried.

I have a suggestion to add to your analysis.

Could you create a graph analyzing the number of active users versus the merits awarded? Giving a measure of how many merits each active user has received (an overall average, of course).

That's actually a not a bad idea and since this month I made one chart less (I removed percentage of merited posts chart because I realized the way its been calculated) I might include that one.

I will make it either today or tomorrow and share it here so will see how it goes from there.

The rate of Bitcoin adoption has increased since last year a lot despite the Govemment unfair restrictions on crypto transactions ( accounts frozen, arrest and persecution of traders) - so far it's been net positive and I won't be surprised if we hit 1000+ active users or something close by this time next year.

Time has come for yet another brief monthly overview of local boards activity, this time a little bit later than in previous months. All charts and table are made using data from @DdmrDdmr Merit Dashboard and BitList.

Communities marked with * (Pakistan, Bengali) don't have their own local boards yet.


Post activity per local board during November 2025

After the last month's increase this time we have a drop of activity; from October's 14463 posts we dropped down to 13826 posts in November. Majority of this drop happened due decreased activity in two of the most active boards, Nigerian and Russian. Drop is not huge, therefore not concerning and I am confident that it was just a little bit weaker month.

Active members per local board during November 2025

During the last month, 1445 members wrote at least one post in one of the local boards that are part of this overview, which is almost exactly the same as in October (1446). To be honest, I expected bigger drop than that considering the drop of the number of posts, but I guess people just wrote less, nothing else.

No changes at the top; Nigerian board far ahead the other, and Russia behind on the 2nd, after many years of dominating this, and majority of the other charts.

Local board members per amount of posts during November 2025

When it comes to the percentage of members who wrote only 1 post in their board during November, leader is Polish local board with 58%, while at the same time  Pilipinas board had only 12% of such members.

At the 2-9 posts bracket leader is French board with 67%, while Arabic board had the lowest percentage, only 25%.

Regarding the 10+ posts bracket, Portuguese and Pilipinas share the first spot, each having 53% of such members, while Romanian board had no members who wrote 10+ posts.

Merit shared per local board during November 2025

During November, 7414 merit was shared across local board, which is a big drop compared to October's 8427 merit. The main cause of this major drop can be found in Nigerian board, whose number of merit shared went from 2241 to 1565. Other boards contributed to this drop as well, but majority of this is decreased happened there. Drop would be much bigger if German board didn't have a big increase in the same period.

Merit/Post ratio per local board during November 2025

In November, an average merit per post across local boards was 0.54, which is an expected decrease compared to October's 0.56 and is continuation of the trend for several months now.

After losing the first spot for a couple of months, German local board is back at the top with a very high 1.66 ratio, but few others like Spanish, Italian, Arabic and Italian also have over 1+ merit per post which is an excellent ratio.

During November, 536 members sent while 610 received merit, which is an expected drop compared to October (654 senders and 685 receivers) due fewer merit shared.

And for the end, the chart that shows us merit habits of each board. Arabic remained at the top, while German local board is not that far behind with also a very high merit per tx ratio, which is not surprise given their high merit per post ratio.

The most active members per local board during November 2025

Last but not the least, the list of the most active local board members. This time the most active member was Julien_Olynpic from Russian local with 137 posts, close 2nd was joker_josue from Portuguese localwho wrote 135 posts while 3rd was the most active member of Turkish board, mandown, who wrote 127 posts. Keep it up guys!

With holidays, public holidays, and festive periods occurring around the world, perhaps we can expect some further declines in December. We'll see.

Logically, there should be a drop as people will spend less time on the computer, they travel more during this period etc but we will see.

What I did notice though is that my local board is a little bit less active this month, but nothing alarming though.

November was a really weak month for me, and I managed to fall out of the top 10 on the Croatian local board. I must say that I’m a bit disappointed in myself, but it was a complicated couple of weeks for me.

How long have you been doing this? I'm glad that some things on this forum haven't changed since my return and are still here.
I'm a bit surprised by the statistics about the drop in activity in November; usually, that happens during the holidays, in December and January. Another constant over all these years is that 'slackovic' remains the uncrowned king of the Croatian part of the forum all these years.

It's nothing strange to have drop of activity in this period and December is probably going to be similar.
I am happy with condition of our local board, but we can always do better for sure.

Their numbers are indeed impressive, but just a few years ago, russians were writing 4x more. Forum was generally much more activbe then though.

How long have you been doing this? I'm glad that some things on this forum haven't changed since my return and are still here.

In a few months its going to be six 6 years since I started this, and no plans to stopping as long as I am active here.

Thank you Rikafip for this fine presentation. November was really a slow month as the excitement of holders was not there due to the sluggish market but there was no much decline in posts like I expected. It seems the Nigerian local board have come to stay at the top, taking over from the Russian board. This is encouraging and shows how fast the knowledge of this forum and Bitcoin is growing in the country.
