I undertand your license limitation about serving other countries not listed on your guidelines but you are missing a lot of good profit from gamblers that located on the forbidden country especially UK. This is my first time to see that Philippines is forbidden from gambling license Korea and China is allowed.
Each license has its own coverage area and the company determines which license to choose in this case btb88 has made a choice and there must be a reason They may lose users from UK and Philippines but gain users from China and Korea, we know UK users are quite active in gambling but there are a lot of competitors there Btw using a vpn is not strictly prohibited if you have a good reason to use a VPN while the support team keeps verifying your login area to ensure that the account is not hacked Hey Beparanf -- I know what you mean! I think it's important to us that we're building something that's very trusted, and that means that operating only in countries where we hold a license that protects our players. Maybe we'll expand into some of those countries in the future! It's certainly on my wishlist! BitcoinHunt3r, I'd really advise against using a VPN. Using one to get around the country block wouldn't allow someone to create an account and bet if they're in a country we're not open to right now. ^Anna

Just not worth the risk. @OP, if someone were able to do a workaround and sign up under a forbidden region, what happens to their winnings? Are you still committed to paying them out just like any other user?

Yes I know about that that's why I use a country VPN that is still allowed. so at that time my friend and I were at the office using the same IP because at the office there was only one computer network so I use VPN only once.

There is almost no way to access this site if you are in a prohibited country, after all, there is no need to force yourself because problems will await you better avoid

So even if someone used a workaround VPN, they still shouldn't be able to bet and play. It's really important to me that we never end up in a situation where a player feels like they were cheated, so we ask for that KYC before it's even possible to deposit. Someone should never play, win, and then feel like there are hoops to jump through! ^Anna

Yes I know about that that's why I use a country VPN that is still allowed. My question is directed not to BitcoinHunt3r (but of course you can also answer ), but to btb88.com support. Is it really the case that using a VPN to change a country is not allowed, and using a VPN to change an address in a country is allowed? If so, can you really recognize which is which? When it comes to KYC, I believe that if a casino has to require it (which I don't think anyone likes) then it should be required, like here, before making a deposit, not when we want withdraw money. This is the most fair.

That rule mostly exists to prevent people from changing their location to a country that isn't allowed. I'd guess from what BitcoinHunt3r said that he's used one to circumnavigate a rule for one of our promotions that two people in the same household or location can't both claim the bonus or promotion, which wouldn't be allowed either. Hope that helps to clarify! ^Anna

But what then if two people at work or at home use the same IP. After passing the KYC verification, will they be able to separately use, for example, the welcome bonus, or will it be a violation of the rules?

We actually just had a hearing last week as part of the requirements for our license, and I realized that probably most people don't know what the requirements are, or how much oversight there is with a license from the Isle of Man.
It's definitely wildly different than licenses from Curacao or Costa Rica.

We don't limit the number of registrations from one IP. We do limit the number of people from the same IP that can claim the same promotion, which is pretty normal. Hope this helps to clarify Anna

I don't know why there are restrictions for registration for individual countries. For example, Sbobet 188bet are practically available for almost all countries.

I suspect that we probably accept a pretty similar country list, but if there's a specific country you're interested in, I'd be happy to look into it Anna

This is the first time to hear the gambling license from Isle of Man because typically most of the Casino acquired license from Curacao or Costa Rica which is much easier and crypto friendly. I don't exactly what's there regulatory requirements but is that involved KYC? Because that will be a major turn off for players here because most user here wants privacy unless they have a minimum amount required for players to undergo KYC. Can I elaborate the difference if you don't mind? This topic will be very interesting and new here. Thank you Anna.

Because that will be a major turn off for players here because most user here wants privacy unless they have a minimum amount required for players to undergo KYC. Can I elaborate the difference if you don't mind? This topic will be very interesting and new here. Thank you Anna. Absolutely! There are some major differences in the kind of requirements that the government puts on gambling sites, and in the amount of oversight that they do. Unlike licences from Curacao and Costa Rica, the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission requires: - Checks on business procedures -- We have regular checks from a gaming inspector to ensure our processes are fair, and we also have to submit a yearly audit to the government.
- Player fund protection -- Our player funds must be kept separate from operating funds at all times, and we must always have enough funds in reserve to cover the settlement of all open bets.
- Software inspection -- All the games on our site must be independently tested by an approved testing house, and our processes are reviewed and audited yearly.
- Strong vetting -- Each of our board members and a designated official are interviewed and approved in a government hearing. We also have to provide regular reports.
- Investigate disputes -- If you complain to the Commission, they'll give us a call to see what's up.
- Data protection -- We have to adhere to strict UK requirements on the protection and control of your data. You have the right to know what's collected and how we use it. It will never be sold and there are industry best practices protecting against hacking.
- No rented sublicence -- Our licence can't be "rented" or sublicenced to another company -- you know that it's actually our business that's required to meet all of the above.
So yes, we do ask for KYC as part of our onboarding process. That's because one of the mandates of the Commission is to help protect against underage gaming. We know it's a trade off, but what you're getting in return, we think, is a level of safety that makes it worth consideration. I hope that helps clarify! Please let me know if you have any more questions. I actually love talking about this, because I think there are some misconceptions that all licences are the same. ^Anna
