Hello, late to all this doom & gloom news, had my head stuck in the sand for a while been busy. Just got out of it and hear this corona virus thing causing markets worldwide to crash even oil markets. Questions:

Covid-19 virus recently caused the crash of btc over a week ago?

Government saying this virus hype can last till next year, meaning Btc crash will be sustained to new lows this year similar to a virus bear market till next year when the virus fear hype is over?

Will Btc halving this May coming will get us out of this virus bear market?

Whats covid-19 virus got to do with Bitcoin? Its not a computer or blockchain virus that attacks btc so why Btc crash?

In global recessions/depressions/global economic meltdowns people turn to gold/silver and digital gold such as bitcoin so why bitcoin crash and gold market not crashing in times like these?

If the whole economy goes down , people starts to loose their jobs how do you think they will be able to sustain their investments?
At the time of Quarantine when people are packed inside their houses and price of something normal is overshooting , cryptocurrencies halving will be the least to worry about .
I do not think that the halving will change anything , maybe a slight push and that's it.
Until and unless all the investors are back on the track expect the price to be low.

Gold just had its own share of red days earlier. Silver had a worse one. The same with Bitcoin. They were all falling earlier. I guess those were the panic days, the phase of initial impact of the realization that this current crisis is a very serious one and it could last longer than imagined at first.

But then we are now looking at the value of these metals and Bitcoin starting to grow. I guess investors are now shifting their money toward them, treating them as safer options. And I assume some of them include Bitcoin as one of their hedges in the face of this pandemic.

I don't think the upcoming halving will have a very significant influence on Bitcoin's price in the next several weeks. This is especially because there are bigger factors coming into play right now.

Virus is the responsible for current bear market. You accept or not that's the only true. Instead of invest on bitcoin users are selling for real cash. Almost workplace are closing now, so earning source is reducing. In that situation we can't imagine new investment on bitcoin. In a result bitcoin prices dumping. Although gold markets hadn't dumped huge but market also getting red. Gold not dumping much because much people not selling it. Gold, silver or bitcoin isn't mandatory for our daily life. That's why basically people aren't interested to invest now. Honestly I believe to we can't overcome from this situation if we can't overcome from COVID-19.

Covid-19 virus recently caused the crash of btc over a week ago?

I'm sure the panic around the corona virus played a role. There were a couple additional factors that intensified the crash:

Will Btc halving this May coming will get us out of this virus bear market?

If the stock market keeps bleeding 5-10% a day, then look out below. The halving won't mean shit and the panic will eventually spread to BTC again.

BTCUSD has already made an amazing recovery, bouncing 81% from the bottom. To keep that recovery intact, we need global markets to not capitulate like 2008.

Whats covid-19 virus got to do with Bitcoin? Its not a computer or blockchain virus that attacks btc so why Btc crash?

Why did stocks crash? Why gold, oil? Everything crashed or at least lost considerable value.

In global recessions/depressions/global economic meltdowns people turn to gold/silver and digital gold such as bitcoin so why bitcoin crash and gold market not crashing in times like these?

What makes you think they turn to "digital gold?" They are most likely to turn to cash.

Bitcoin 30% drop was not due to corana virus but in correlation with the stock market that has been in a parabolic rise since 2008, corana virus was only the trigger and it can never be the fundamental cause of both stocks and cryptocurrency markets.
After weeks, the stock is still dumping while on the other hand Bitcoin is doing well i guess it has already decoupled from stock after Institutional pulled out and came back seeking safe haven to store their wealth.

Panic created from this virus spread caused the crash of btc.

Possibly we may see new lows or new high on crypto prices so it all depends on how investors react to this.

Bitcoin is not related to virus but it related to people and people are getting affected with corona so bitcoin is also getting affected.

Gold market still faced red path but not as others because it is existing here for centuries but bitcoin is only over a decade.

Covid-19 virus recently caused the crash of btc over a week ago?

It is said that Covid can't really affect the Bitcoin price

There might be some that panicked because of it but as far as I know, the PLusToken scam majorly affected the fall and coincidentally, it went together when the pandemic is getting worse.

Government saying this virus hype can last till next year, meaning Btc crash will be sustained to new lows this year similar to a virus bear market till next year when the virus fear hype is over?

I don't think that it will last that long.

From the drop to $5K, now we are looking at the price of $6K. Ever since it reached that price, it is not going down and not that going up either so maybe before the halving, we will be starting at the price of $6K.

Will Btc halving this May coming will get us out of this virus bear market?

We don't know.

But the thing about the halving is that it will obviously affect the price of Bitcoin positively.

Whats covid-19 virus got to do with Bitcoin? Its not a computer or blockchain virus that attacks btc so why Btc crash?

The stock market is majorly affected by it.

I think investors thought that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will also be affected that is why some investors already sold some of their BTCs for the dump, and it happened and thought it was all because of the virus.

In global recessions/depressions/global economic meltdowns people turn to gold/silver and digital gold such as bitcoin so why bitcoin crash and gold market not crashing in times like these?

It did crash but it is affected.

The stock market is affected and I don't think Gold be an exemption to that. It is a debate in the past whether Bitcoin is a safe-haven investment or not and I think it is not a safe-haven. Might not be even a store of value.

Covid-19 virus recently caused the crash of btc over a week ago?

It could be consider as one of the biggest contributory factors to the massive declined we have seen  last week.

Government saying this virus hype can last till next year, meaning Btc crash will be sustained to new lows this year similar to a virus bear market till next year when the virus fear hype is over?

On the contrary, I think every government in the world is doing their best to stop the spread and control it. I'm sure a vaccine could be found, just a matter of time.

Will Btc halving this May coming will get us out of this virus bear market?

Not really sure about it, but if you have to take a look at the previous historical logs, halving is the main catalyst for an eventual bullrun.

Because every market is connected, that's why all them have crashed because of the covid-19 pandemic. However, bitcoin is making a stand and it is still trading way better than traditional markets.

Gold crashed as well mate. Not a single market was spared with the impact of the recent panic virus attacks. As for why BTC was hit, well, instead of the virus, it would be more apt to say that the panic hit BTC instead. As you know, before the BTC market crash, stock market crashed. This was then followed by continuous negative news regarding the spread of the virus, and imo, probably caused a chain reaction of panic towards the traders of BTC, which then lead us to the current situation. You could even say that the entire economy crashed because of the virus, whether it be a direct or indirect cause.

Government saying this virus hype can last till next year, meaning Btc crash will be sustained to new lows this year similar to a virus bear market till next year when the virus fear hype is over?
When ten thousand of people are dead globally within a few month you think it is a hype or a real thing to take precaution and that is exactly many governments are trying to do at the moment.

Will Btc halving this May coming will get us out of this virus bear market?
You cannot expect the market to recover all of a sudden after the halving, just have the patience to hold for a few months and the market will recover.

Whats covid-19 virus got to do with Bitcoin? Its not a computer or blockchain virus that attacks btc so why Btc crash?
The market depends upon the economic situation and we have financial institution investing in the market and if they foresee that the rest of the market is going down they might book their profit to reduce the loss and i think that is what happened here.

In global recessions/depressions/global economic meltdowns people turn to gold/silver and digital gold such as bitcoin so why bitcoin crash and gold market not crashing in times like these?
During the times of recession people will turn to gold but there is no concrete evidence that people will invest in BTCitcoin.

The virus spreading does not help a lot to the market for over the world because today they are avoiding to have transportation because we are now avoiding having physical contact with the things we can touch. Also, the world of crypto currency falls down because there are some people converted their money into fiat currency just to avoid having the lack of sources to survive the outbreak still we are looking forward to make more earning while the virus is spreading because some of the people today accept the use of crypto or the digital currency as payment because it is faster and secured also they don't need to go outside because some of the places today made a lockdown to avoid people being infected.

Covid-19 virus recently caused the crash of btc over a week ago?

Some say that nothing in the world happens by accident, so one should not think that a BTC drop of 50% happened just like that. COVID-19 launched a chain reaction in which all markets are hit, some less, some more - BTC was no exception.

Government saying this virus hype can last till next year, meaning Btc crash will be sustained to new lows this year similar to a virus bear market till next year when the virus fear hype is over?

Which government says that? Realistically speaking, they have no idea - if they had listened to the scientists the virus would have done far less damage than it does now, and instead they pushed the thing under the rug in an effort to protect profits.

Will Btc halving this May coming will get us out of this virus bear market?
Whats covid-19 virus got to do with Bitcoin? Its not a computer or blockchain virus that attacks btc so why Btc crash?

I have to look in my crystal ball and I'll get back to you about halving - and in the meantime, try not to mix viruses that spread through the Internet and those that attack people.

Whats covid-19 virus got to do with Bitcoin? Its not a computer or blockchain virus that attacks btc so why Btc crash?

If you are asking for why bitcoin dropped during this corona virus time , IMO I think panic is part of it and also when hodlers think price is dropping and they want to sell and get back their money. This is unfortunate but I think this is what could be the reason.
Yeah the panic from the people is the very reason why the bitcoin price dumped last week, maybe some of people in here withdrew their cash when the virus spreading gets severe and other countries are situated in lockdown and quarantine. I hope $6K is the lowest we could go down this year and the halving event will give us something huge. I also firmly believe on our strong hodlers and believers, I salute them for frontlining the price resistance.

You just need to read what you wrote and you would realise you answered your questions.

It's not a virus bear market ...it's just the effect of the coronavirus that went world wide so there are no exceptions. Every economy has go down a lot and it looks like it will continue to go down as the number of cases are still increases...stay safe guys, forget a while about cryptocurrencies, stay with your families , love them and we can all celebrate in some months. For now cash is king so don't waste them on things that won't bring you food and water. Bitcoin can't bring you this goods right now.

So you saying investors selling their bitcoins for cash because they need cash to buy overpriced out of stock panic buying groceries to survive because jobs are lost and companies shutting down?

What about central banks printing more money? Wont that de-value cash further?

So if people can pay for things like groceries with bitcoin with central banks printing more money inflation then would bitcoin crash like it did with the virus?

2018 to mid 2019 the last bear market lasted. So this Virus bear market will end when governments announce vaccine?

Governments saying this virus hype can last till next year, meaning bear market will end till next year or when vaccine is announced, whichever comes first?

It will devalue cash over the long term. Inflation is up 20% since the last QE party began in 2008. That will continue.

You can already pay for groceries with BTC. It's easy to buy gift cards to Amazon (Primenow, Prime Pantry), Whole Foods, other supermarkets. You can also use apps like Spedn at physical stores.

The problem is the market doesn't trust BTC to hold its value. It's considered a high risk asset. Merchants and vendors don't want to hold it. In bear markets, investors don't want to hold it.

If BTC were the global medium of exchange everyone used, it wouldn't crash like it did, but that entails a lot more than being able to buy groceries with it.

So this Virus bear market will end when governments announce vaccine?

No idea, but it would sure be a start!

First tof all its not only crypto world it's the entire market which has been crashes as you can see daily drip im hold rates as well and right now survival is the key concern as people are least bothered about future as they just wants to survive the present as future looks uncertain due to corona virus. We should stop worrying about the crypto market for a while until things settled down and even if the halving takes place now it will be a flop due to present circumstances.

I don't think people lost trust in bitcoin, some holders simply decided to cash to buy things for the virus while others rode the global economy going recession due to production and commerce worldwide shutting down.

Now China is starting back up, and they will find themselves in a world where nobody else is producing anything (but can't buy either) until every country either controls the virus or waits until everyone gets infected, a process that could easily take 3 months if we take China itself as example.

very_452001: It IS doom & gloom, consider returning back to sands for the next months or half a year? If far away from humans, even better!
Indeed once the World Health Organization officially recognized the global Pandemic, and the outbreak getting out of hand in Europe and the US, things took a turn for the worse. At first the naysayers were laughing at it like "just another conspiracy, yadda" but the numbers didn't lie and most countries did not anticipate or assessed the danger properly. Now its obvious, but its too late, exactly the way a hyperinflation hits.

Unfortunately vaccines and cures are taking longer than the virus to spread around, even with countries bypassing normal medical trials and rushing; its still taking too long. If you survive, by next year there probably will be a vaccine. Survivors will probably develop defenses in their bodies for the slight mutations of the virus and probably won't need them except for the usual risk group (just like the flu).

PlusToken is a altcoin? Whats it gotta do with btc?

What about food commodities agriculture markets? Where panic buying increased grocery prices. These markets are in the green yeah?

Bitcoin 30% drop was not due to corana virus but in correlation with the stock market that has been in a parabolic rise since 2008, corana virus was only the trigger and it can never be the fundamental cause of both stocks and cryptocurrency markets.
After weeks, the stock is still dumping while on the other hand Bitcoin is doing well i guess it has already decoupled from stock after Institutional pulled out and came back seeking safe haven to store their wealth.

Does it really take a virus trigger to bring the stock market to correction after its been over inflated? I thought in markets when something goes up it must come down like a roller coaster naturally like gravity without a need for the virus to do this.

PlusToken is a altcoin? Whats it gotta do with btc?

It was a Ponzi scheme. They collected money from investors in the form of BTC and ETH. When they exit scammed last year, they started selling off their BTC holdings. This increased market supply and has been pressuring the price down. Read this article: PlusToken Scammers Didn’t Just Steal $2+ Billion Worth of Cryptocurrency. They May Also Be Driving Down the Price of Bitcoin.

Does it really take a virus trigger to bring the stock market to correction after its been over inflated? I thought in markets when something goes up it must come down like a roller coaster naturally like gravity without a need for the virus to do this.

Bad news can trigger crashes. It's not required but it certainly helps things along. The pandemic has ushered in grim economic numbers (GDP contraction estimates, unemployment estimates).....what would you expect to happen?

but the decline and increase of course there is a reason, and because of this virus outbreak, it makes negative news that brings the market down sharply. almost all sectors experienced a decline, until some shares were temporarily closed so as not to get worse.

Where the hell could you have been that you didn't know about the virus and the bear market. I mean I can understand why people may not know there is a crisis going on if they are rich enough, or maybe live in a rural place and all. However, nations are closing borders and giving orders to stay at home, what the hell have you been doing all this time that you didn't hear a single news?

All newspapers, all articles online, all online chat channels, all televisions, all basically even games that you play online have talks about corona, you need to be stuck in a room with absolutely no connection to outside world, you have to be in a coma to not know this.

In the end there is a big crisis going on and it is almost recovered in bitcoin because we are amazing, but you should check the news now and learn a lot more about it and not just read here.

Wew . That was a lot of questions you got there but I try to answer a few based on what I think of . Gold isnt dropping because it was a stable asset but I don't think that gold aren't affected with the situation that is happenings right now .

Not just gold but all asset and that include digital assets are all affected even if you say that the virus isn't digital but once people got affected it affects thier ability to invest . I was praying for the speed up recovery of all  .

The drill is that when there are pandemic diseases or anything that affects the globe, it creates fear which results in panic sell. Also, this is not something that affects bitcoin alone but other traditional assets and resources. Gold, Silver, Diamond everything is affected. Look at the stock market, all is affected. even the global market for crude oil is affected. Hopefully, before MAY, there might have been substantial vaccines that proved effective for this disease and probably the market will recover

But still, gold from all the listed assets has lost less, which once again confirms its status as the main asset in the event of various similar situations. But cryptocurrencies, unfortunately, showed themselves rather poorly. I counted on their greater stability.

You ask the right questions, but I doubt that anyone here can answer you with the degree of objectivity with which you would like.
The crypto market is being manipulated by whales. they will never lose their own gain.

So, when there is any movement in the market, you need to take into account that one of the whales can seize the moment and somehow benefit by playing their cards.
I do not think that the virus is a full-fledged reason, but it gave them a good opportunity to earn money and create panic in the crypto market.

Not sure also in May about halving will make the bull run market because a situation like this will certainly make things more complicated and also, the correlation of every event that occurs will at least always be there directly or not because indeed, at first all prices collapsed but as time goes by the price begins to recover slowly so that the correlation does indeed exist, because with the correlation there is at least the price can recover along with the situation which will slowly improve as expected.

Are there an information that gold was fall as well?

A few days ago, I took my saving gold to gold shop I have intention to sold them and I will buy a land.

But you know what, the gold price was fall as well and I decided to discouraged to sold them, which is mean the recession will heat every economic instrument.

Other than that, this situation has made me aware that bitcoin is not a safe haven place, we have considered it before this crash came and we were considering that bitcoin is safe haven place. Bitcoin is more like stock, that you still have a fretfulness when holding it.

People who mostly hold bitcoin got panic which made them sold at the same time and that made the market of bitcoin to crash. If the chart says about new lows, I think we've met the all-time low for this year.

And if it's likely to stay for another year, we're safe from it and you only have to do is either buy or hold.

Whats the absolute bottom BTC will hit this year that you guys predict and when you guys think WHO will announce a vaccine?

Wasn't Bitcoin born from the 2008 recession economic crash invented by the Japanese mathematician Satoshi to save us from economic crashes like these so why you think BTC is not a safe haven place?

Gold will always be a winner in any economic calamity?

It may have been a response to the 2008 bailouts, but that doesn't automatically make it a safe haven. It's still mostly a niche currency.

Gold will always be a winner in any economic calamity?

In 2008 gold crashed 34% vs. 58% in the S&P 500 index. It recovered sooner and didn't fall as hard, but it was still brutal.

Interesting happenings in the gold market lately. COMEX is unable to fulfill physical gold obligations and there is a considerable premium developing in the physical spot market over futures. I suspect this is a temporary condition, but gold bugs are foaming at the mouth, thinking this is the apocalyptic event that renders paper gold worthless and physical gold invaluable.

Hello, late to all this doom & gloom news, had my head stuck in the sand for a while been busy. Just got out of it and hear this corona virus thing causing markets worldwide to crash even oil markets. Questions:
first where have you been?when people are dying but you are busy for something?sad that you are not aware of the sudden market collapse.
Covid-19 virus recently caused the crash of btc over a week ago?
almost like that because peopel are afraid of the continues drop so they sell our and the effect?this bear market.
Government saying this virus hype can last till next year, meaning Btc crash will be sustained to new lows this year similar to a virus bear market till next year when the virus fear hype is over?
nothing is certain,Governments are just giving estimated time but the truth nothing knows when are how this will be beaten.
Will Btc halving this May coming will get us out of this virus bear market?
again nothing is certain so lets wait till it happens just continue holding.
Whats covid-19 virus got to do with Bitcoin? Its not a computer or blockchain virus that attacks btc so why Btc crash?

because the whole world economy is crashing so what can you expect?like you when the country you residing dont accept bitcoin for transaction wouldn't you withdraw your Crypto converting to fiat?so there are money to spend in this crisis?

Not sure also in May about halving will make the bull run market because a situation like this will certainly make things more complicated and also, the correlation of every event that occurs will at least always be there directly or not because indeed, at first all prices collapsed but as time goes by the price begins to recover slowly so that the correlation does indeed exist, because with the correlation there is at least the price can recover along with the situation which will slowly improve as expected.
That can not be determined at the time of this pandemic happening all over the world whether this halving in May will bring real bullrun? There are still many who doubt it because of poor economic conditions so many do not believe that bitcoin will experience recovery in May.
But I see that bitcoin is rising slightly, meaning that it is not in the opposite direction because bitcoin will continue to advance according to what is requested in the market.
Some crypto was used at the time of this pandemic.

IMO, markets-wise, this is purely an emotional response, which resulted in complete over-selling. Yes, there is most definitely a market impact with this (especially considering how many businesses are shut down). The economy will definitely be impacted. But stocks are >40% down, + Bitcoin took a huge hit.

I honestly don't think that the damage is enough to substantiate the losses. I think that once some good news comes along; and once recoveries are being made / the curve begins to flatten, you're going to see Bitcoin and the stock market recover.

It is true that the cause of the decline in the price of bitcoin last week to under $ 4000 was due to the corona virus. So is the cause of
the economic crisis experienced by all countries in the world due to corona virus too. Because the whole world is panicking with panic with
the spread of the corona virus so quickly. But bitcoin has now begun to recover, seen prices rise. And for halving that will happen in May
I don't think it will give too much effect on the price of bitcoin, the possibility of bitcoin prices will be pushed a little. Because all  people
are still focused on corona virus.

Is the western governments planning to hype this virus pandemic for 3 months or 6 months or even into 2021 or when do you think the vaccine will be announced or will vaccine announcement will be too late now for the dying economy?

During those time periods above, what do you guys will predict the absolute support lows btc will hit this year and the resistance lines btc will need to break through to get out of this virus bear market?

Lastly the BTC halving in may 2020 means nothing now right?

Finally the chinese government reported 0 new cases for covid-19 and their economy has gotten out of the bear market and their country returning back to normal now, are the chinese still buying bitcoin now?

trump is hoping to get back to normal by easter. good luck to him!

re a vaccine:

Quote
“Like most vaccinologists, I don’t think this vaccine will be ready before 18 months,” says Annelies Wilder-Smith, professor of emerging infectious diseases at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. That’s already extremely fast, and it assumes there will be no hitches.

In the meantime, there is another potential problem. As soon as a vaccine is approved, it’s going to be needed in vast quantities – and many of the organisations in the Covid-19 vaccine race simply don’t have the necessary production capacity.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/mar/26/coronavirus-vaccine-when-will-it-be-ready

translation: we better hope for highly effective antiviral treatments in the meantime because it's gonna take 1.5-2 years.

Finally the chinese government reported 0 new cases for covid-19 and their economy has gotten out of the bear market and their country returning back to normal now, are the chinese still buying bitcoin now?

about that:

to be fair, china probably has way more cases than the USA. it's pretty well accepted that china's propaganda apparatus can't be trusted. preliminary evidence suggests china is actively suppressing reporting of new cases. wechat, weibo, and other platforms are also actively censoring public discussion of the pandemic and medical supply shortages.

People have been paying 50-70% premiums for physical silver: https://realmoney.thestreet.com/investing/there-s-another-interesting-situation-playing-out-in-the-silver-markets-15275139

I have not seen any "force majeure" threats in silver futures like we are seeing in COMEX gold futures but I wouldn't rule it out in the future. The production shutdowns are affecting physical gold and silver supplies the same exact way. If this continues for months on end, the markets could diverge and price discovery could break down.

Like I said, I think this is temporary and things will return to normal, but it's good to keep these possibilities in mind.

I really wonder if this complete shut downs in nations could actually work out for the better for some reason. I know that it makes no sense, economy has to keep moving forward at all times in order to improve, however people are left with money in their hands and nothing to spend on but crucial stuff in their homes without spending much, which means sure the companies will get worse and worse but the people wouldn't be spending excess useless amounts so they might actually end up saving money?

Most people started to work from home, so the business world is not going to stop completely, they will keep on paying staff, so that staff who stays at home, only buys food and needed stuff, will maybe save some money while companies go down? That way we could basically close the gap?

So this virus bear market will last 18 months at the earliest?

Countries around the world are shutting down everything and locking down everyone resulting in economies shutting down except basic markets that are needed for survival such as food and medicine markets as well minimalist key services like for example hospitals to keep the country running in minimalist mode, similar to windows safe mode I guess.

When exiting safe mode in windows and rebooting everything is back to normal however this minimalist mode imposed on countries will not bring countries worldwide back to normal when this is over because there will be permanent damage such as huge unemployment figures, all businesses shutting down as they cant recover from this except mega rich corporations that can easily recover from this. So this is depression and might take years or a decade?

What I dont understand is governments saying they going to cover wages by borrowing $trillions in cash from the treasuries and central banks. When the government send these monthly wage cheques to the masses then what will the masses buy with that cheque handout? Just food and medicine and bills? Will the masses buy bitcoin with those cheque handouts?

Also when theres unemployment then theres no income tax going to governments so how governments will still run minimalist services with no taxpayers money? More borrowing and wont that result in hyper inflation? Also what happens if governments cant pay back the loans to private treasuries and central banks?

Lastly what if there is a Covid-20 new strain of the virus coming back next year season? That means vaccines means are useless as they are outdated right?

Finally the chineses markets look like they are recovering, Okay lets say chinese are not revealing true figures and let the country go back to running normal then people are mixing with each other that should result huge spikes in new cases in the millions I guess but chinese economy and markets look normal? How does this work?

I don’t believe that this virus is going to stay till next year if we do the right thing that we are supposed to do. It will only stay for long if we don’t do the right things that we are meant to do, like quarantining those that are infected and staying indoors to protect ourselves ; we are doing these things already and I believe that soon this covid-19 will be over. I strongly believe that bitcoin is not going to fall again.

But in a situation where this continues, it might affect bitcoin and every other cryptocurrency – reason being that a lot of people will be selling their assets and converting to fiat to be able to handle their responsibilities and other things that they are meant to be.

If it does get ugly then are we looking to break the 4K floor or will the 4K floor hold like the last crash couple of weeks ago? If the worse then whats the absolute bottom btc will crash to? 3K or even below that?

Can a virus bear market be more worse than a normal bull run pump and bear dump markets?

The pump to 20k then crash to 3K bear market then slowly recover after couple of years to 13k then stability at 8k then crash to 4K virus bear market.

What patterns can we learn from this? Will a vaccine announcement get us out of this virus bear market? Or is it too late for a vaccine announcement and hence the permanent economic damage has already been done that can take years to recover meaning this virus bear market can last years even though lets say theres a vaccine out and no more people will get the virus.

BTC will always Sync to to the Stock Market? That means BTC can only un-sync from stock market if the masses buy BTC to hedge their fiat wealth?

Economists are saying Stock Markets are due for the crash this year anyway even with or without the Virus as stocks are inflated then entering another economic recession/depression similar to the 2008 crash.

Anyone disagree?

Economists are saying Stock Markets are due for the crash this year anyway even with or without the Virus as stocks are inflated then entering another economic recession/depression similar to the 2008 crash.

So the question is:

This virus bear market crash does the same job and replaces the inevitable upcoming inflated stock market crash meaning there wont be 2 separate crashes?

BTC was designed by a Japanese mathematician Satoshi as a tool to protect us from crashes like this so the question is why a tool like BTC is Syncing to the stock market and how do we Stop syncing with the stock market and become a independent asset like a asset it meant to be like Satoshi has originally intended it to be in the beginning? Btc is decentralised so whats up with BTC syncing to other markets worldwide like a chain where fiat paper money is at the top of the chain?

Even Altcoins Sync to BTC which is understandable because most trading pairs in BTC but BTC syncing to the stock market is crazy.

When do you guys think the bleeding will stop in the stock markets?

Government saying this virus hype can last till next year, meaning Btc crash will be sustained to new lows this year similar to a virus bear market till next year when the virus fear hype is over?
Whatever government is saying that might be correct, but that doesn't necessarily mean bitcoin is going to keep dropping.  There was an obvious correlation between the outbreak and the slump (in the stock market as well), but I don't think it's going to be prolonged.  In fact bitcoin seems to have stabilized around $6200 for the moment, and the way I see it the "crash" could have been much worse than it actually was.

People are selling all sorts of assets to free up cash, and that's all being done out of fear, but smart investors see times like these as good buying opportunities.  And obviously some folks have indeed been buying bitcoin--if they weren't, I'm pretty sure the price would have dropped much lower.

bitcoin is still down much more than stocks. the dow jones is down 29% vs 40% in bitcoin.

i'm sure this is a buying opportunity but this is the age old problem of dip buying---where is the bottom? the stock markets lost 50-60% in the 2008 crash. it's possible we won't reach the "blood in the streets" stage for another 6+ months, which means current prices may not be a bargain at all.

People are dying in thousands and economy of nations are shutting down, people been laid off their job. It's only those who are not hungry that will inject good money into the cryptocurreny market. I don't yet know where the fund is coming from to push up the market since the world are in turmoil, I hope this virus should have die down by mid-April.

It depends how strong the panic is. Nobody can predict that. Nobody could have predicted the market would stop at $3,850 either. That's more a matter of market psychology and liquidity than TA or fundamentals.

My personal opinion is we've already reached peak panic in BTC and won't see prices below the $4K-$5K range again. I think we will keep trading within this contracting range:

BTC will always Sync to to the Stock Market? That means BTC can only un-sync from stock market if the masses buy BTC to hedge their fiat wealth?

BTC (and everything else pretty much) correlates to stocks during global liquidity crises. Once we exit the crisis phase (and definitely once we enter the recovery phase like Q2 2009 on) I expect them to diverge.

many active traders are failed to access their position to bear market due to covid-19 which are impacted too many countries, to protecting the economy the minimum wage volume of supply for the delivery of some particular goods which is coming from the other countries are eventually minimized, for the protection of people away from the virus because buying and selling products to all particular sector of the bear markets are decrease and many traders are suffering major losses in their portfolios.

The crashing of bitcoin is because people panic on the current situations, and makes them sell bitcoin to have money to buy their needs. I don't think that will give more impact to the market except for the virus still attacking people, and many of them are dead. If that happens, then people will sell more to have money to survive, and that will impact the bitcoin price too. But every possibility can happen.

We can hope that with the halving of bitcoin, it will help us to get out of this bear position and the bull will come again to us. For the truth, I don't know what a correlation between covid-19 with bitcoin is, but I only see the market is down too deep but gladly, right now, the market still trying to break the high price.

I think many people out there don't understand about bitcoin, so they prefer to have gold as the safest investment right now. But if people can read more and study about bitcoin, they will see that bitcoin can be a new type of investment besides gold.

I agree! We must overcome Covid19 to recover the market and it will not be an easy task because the pandemic will leave a bleak environment. We must work hard to recover everything we have accomplished in the crypto market. Sadly, we are seeing humanity threatened by a very dangerous pandemic.

You are right on this. I hope the humanity will be strong and fortunate enough so we'll have to care about such things as cryptocurrencies, not our survival.
Because if we won't overcome a virus fast enough - we'll meet a very very rought times my friend

It's a threat to humanity okay but we can certainly get rid of the beer market. If we increase the market demand by investing then it is possible to recover The market is not controlled by anyone. The market is likely to rise on demand. Due to the virus many people have gone to market and demand has decreased.

I don't think it is easy to increase demand, with uncertain conditions, I think many investors have chosen to wait and see to monitor market behavior, and see the development of the corona virus outbreak. almost every sector of the economy was disrupted by this outbreak

Right. I think they still wait for a while. They see the market can increase significantly this time, and that makes them watch closely of the market. But soon, after the price can down for a moment, they will use that time to buy bitcoin. I am sure that the increase in demand will happen in the market, and it's all about time that will answer. Meanwhile, we need to stay calm at this moment so we can prevent the virus outbreak in our environment.

Some analysts believe the curve is flattening in Italy, Spain, and France: https://twitter.com/carlquintanilla/status/1246034563509477376/photo/1

If that theory is confirmed over the next week or so, it could be fuel for further relief rallying in stocks, real estate, commodities, and so on. It could help usher in a new narrative that we are in the "recovery phase" rather than a crisis.

On the other end of the spectrum is Sweden. No closings of schools or businesses, and the government only issued social distancing measures yesterday for the first time. It'll be interesting to see how the situation progresses there. I hope it doesn't become the next place where cases surge. https://www.insider.com/sweden-a-scandinavian-hold-out-finally-set-distancing-guidelines-2020-4

You really have very interesting observations on the performance of these countries and a rather optimistic mood, but it seems to me that we can only hope for an improvement in the economic situation if the spread of the virus decreases.  Namely, quarantine is a very effective way, but this method adversely affects the economy or impedes its development completely.  We have to admit the fact that only a few weeks have passed since the virus began to spread in Europe, and economic problems have already reached large scale, while in the United States of America the problems are growing almost every 24 hours and the government expects very bad consequences already in  the next two weeks.  Based on this, I believe that we can hope for certain results only by looking through the prism of the fight against the virus in a certain country.  Although taking into account the cryptocurrency market, this sector will only develop, even in conditions of complete isolation.

I'm not sure of a bull run this year after the halving on May. Before we were all hoping that the next halving will get us out from the low range, but now we are not sure about that. We are already in the month of April, so the halving will be taking place in a month and few days.

It will be better that we all have patience and wait till then to know where the price will go to after that. Then as for whether the covid-19 situation around the world caused the decrease in Bitcoin? That's what I'm not really sure about, though I have believed that it was the reason, but some people here have doubted that it caused it. Some fanatics are saying that covid-19 can never affect Bitcoin lol. This is a pandemic and it affects everything.

I'm not sure of a bull run this year after the halving on May. Before we were all hoping that the next halving will get us out from the low range, but now we are not sure about that. We are already in the month of April, so the halving will be taking place in a month and few days.
The halving event comes near and near every day, I'm not worried about the price if it goes up, down or not, whatever happens, happens. Just stick at what the past halvings did to the price of bitcoin well even it just last for a week or two then dump again. If bull run does not come off after the halving then we might wait again for a very long time. Just curious, every time we can start the bull run so why do we need  to wait for the halving to come? haha.

Yeah, patience, might give you the reward that you are waiting or the thing that fool your eyes for a very long time. Upgrade your instinct and analysis that will be the stair to another floor.

I love days like this, many bear people will go away to hiding in these days and they will not talk about "how bad bitcoin is and how it is dying" because its an awesome day, watch them go out of hiding when price goes down once again, whenever price goes down they go into hiding and can't answer the awesome increase in the price but whenever it falls they start talking about how bitcoin is dead once again.

Right now price looks to be around 6.9k levels, a bit higher than that but not 7k just yet, when the year started we were around 7.1k to 7.2k which means we are literally 200 dollars behind what the year to date price would be. There is corona, there is 50k+ death, there is economic scare, everyone is afraid, all markets collapse, yet bitcoin is literally less than 2% behind what it would need to be profitable.

I agree! We must overcome Covid19 to recover the market and it will not be an easy task because the pandemic will leave a bleak environment. We must work hard to recover everything we have accomplished in the crypto market. Sadly, we are seeing humanity threatened by a very dangerous pandemic.

And that will start by us following the quarantine policies of the government and our community. The pandemic is not directly affecting the price but it does on those people and selling some of the crypto currency investments so they would have some money they can use to buy foods and other kinds of stuff. I hope everyone is safe and keeps on looking at the price.

Whats this I'm hearing about Tether USDT printing a lot of tokens not backed by real cash? Is it Tether keeping BTC on a life support machine during this virus pandemic keeping BTC above 6K?

Whats the implications for BTC if there is no audit for Tether USDT?

There hasn't been evidence Tether has ever printed unbacked tokens.

This is what happened: Bitfinex and Tether are related. Same directors, same everything. Bitfinex's banking partner (Crypto Capital) had accounts worth $850 million seized by regulators. To fix the USD liquidity problem, they borrowed money from Tether, thereby making USDT no longer 1:1 backed by USD. When this came to light and people started freaking out, they launched a private token sale raising $1 billion to cover the shortfall.

I don't think Tether is "keeping BTC on life support." I think the March crash wiped out an insane amount of liquidity. There just aren't many sellers left right now.

Whats the implications for BTC if there is no audit for Tether USDT?

Nobody cares about a Tether audit. Everybody knows it's not coming.

The virus did not crash the market. The panic caused by countermeasures did.

How many people died from this virus? How many of those dead people did not have any serious health problems before catching the virus? Not many.

The virus killed only 64000 people in 3 months. Lung cancer kills almost 2 million people every year! You have at least 20 times greater probability od dying from cancer but there's no panic and countries are not shutting down because of cancer.

The real threat is the death of tourism and a possible bankruptcy of airlines, hotels, cinemas and restaurants all around the world.

Indeed, it is not the virus itself that causes the market to crash but the actions of people who are experiencing panic. Actually the virus have no serious effect to the crypto market, our economy is the real thing that is in danger here just what you have said. Companies that have no relation about foods or goods that needed right now will be facing huge loss because of this virus, there are the ones in danger and it will have huge visible effect ones we get out of this crisis.

I would like to answer the questions you ask based on my own experience and knowledge. I warn you at the very beginning of my comment, I am not a professional economist and my answers are based on my own thoughts and experiences.

1) Covid-19 virus recently caused the crash of btc over a week ago?

The virus caused a great shock not only in the cryptocurrency markets, but in all world markets. Yes, Bitcoin and alternative cryptocurrencies have also had a major impact, but this was true for all markets, not just the cryptocurrency markets. So, it's not just something that has affected Bitcoin price or crypto markets.

2) Government saying this virus hype can last till next year, meaning Btc crash will be sustained to new lows this year similar to a virus bear market till next year when the virus fear hype is over?

Unless the virus loses its effect, it will have a bad effect on all economic markets. That is why if this virus spreads over a long period of time, the crypto markets will also be affected.

3) Will Btc halving this May coming will get us out of this virus bear market?

Although it is certain that the halfway process will have a positive effect on the price, I do not think it will end bad market conditions. If the virus loses its effect until the halfway process, it may be reasonable to expect serious increases in price with the half-effect.

4) Whats covid-19 virus got to do with Bitcoin? Its not a computer or blockchain virus that attacks btc so why Btc crash?

Actually, I wrote the answer to this question in the answer of the first question. The virus affected the cryptocurrency markets badly as it affected the world markets in general. For this reason, there have been serious decreases in the prices of Bitcoin and alternative cryptocurrencies.

5) In global recessions/depressions/global economic meltdowns people turn to gold/silver and digital gold such as bitcoin so why bitcoin crash and gold market not crashing in times like these?

Due to the bad market conditions, many people actually sold instead of buying Bitcoin. For this reason, Bitcoin price declined and could not keep up with the gold / silver price.

Whats covid-19 virus got to do with Bitcoin? Its not a computer or blockchain virus that attacks btc so why Btc crash?

The corona virus ultimately affected a lot of people around the globe, with the quarantine, a lot of people are losing jobs or income to pay for their needs especially those who have already responsibilities or family with them. Losing income leads people and possible holders or investors of Bitcoin to sell, thus, making the price of and demand for the coin to go down.

But, these days have shown a significant increase in the price of Bitcoin, wherein, we could conclude that it is gradually recovering and people starting to adopt in the crisis.

I feel that during this crisis a majority of countries will be emitting more of their national currencies, resulting in a growth of main cryptocurrencies.
I believe that it will be wise to hold BTC for next 2 months or so.

What you mean emitting their national currencies?

Are markets in a dead cat bounce now? and do we expect to see a lot of volatility in the Dow Jones and BTC markets in the coming weeks while this lock-down is still in place?
Bitcoin is over 7k now. Whos buying it to keep it above 7k as google trends does not correlate to this?

These are the conditions I see:

- Dow Jones and BTC will go up and stabilise back to normal figures before the pandemic if we either get out of lock-down or Vaccine is announced or people have to spend their govt bail out cheques on BTC and the stock market to keep the markets stabilised. Gold will come down in price. Which one is it or what you think it is?

Or

- Dow Jones and BTC will be volatile during lock-down and these lock-downs can be extended by govt for months or even into next year meaning we will see a volatile virus bear markets with a lot of bull traps and bear traps during this period? Possible for newer market crashes in lock-down period? Gold can reach all new ATH's.

If you disagree then whats your long term analysis you like to share with us?

Google trends doesn't matter. It doesn't meaningfully correlate with price.

Trapped shorts and sellers from below $6K have provided a lot of buy pressure up until this point.

Dow Jones and BTC will go up and stabilise back to normal figures before the pandemic if we either get out of lock-down or Vaccine is announced or people have to spend their govt bail out cheques on BTC and the stock market to keep the markets stabilised. I don't think price can return to pre-pandemic levels so soon. There's been a massive economic contraction that is still ongoing. This needs to be priced in.

Emitting means printing? Is that correct? because it's truly that they are doing that to produce more money so that everyone can survive the crisis and that's the solution to provide more budget to supply things.

Specially in medical gears, there's a lot of countries that's facing the shortage.

And to the wise people who are taking advantage of the scenario, not afraid of investing and chose to buy bitcoin. They are in good hands and time will tell for this decision that they have made and it will make them proud.

The market is already in a good position now. After falling to $3k, the bulls were able to pull the price back up and after circling $5k and $4k price range, the price was able to move up to $6k price and stayed stable for a time and then moved to the current $7k price.

So I wouldn’t say that it’s bearish, it’s progressing smoothly. You also need to have it in mind that Bitcoin is a volatile asset, so at anytime, anything can happen. That the price is going up now doesn’t mean it’s not going to drop down to a low price, that can still happen, but for now the price has been increasing and I’m happy with that.

Interestingly I would agree that price couldn't go back to pre-pandemic times but it looks like it is in recovery, there is absolutely nothing that should make it in recovery, by all accounts it should be going down even further but looking at what is going on right now I would say it is widely ignoring all of that and everywhere around the world economy is "recovering" somehow.

Not the pockets of people who needs to buy stuff, like you and me, but stuff like gold, stock markets and crypto all look like they are recovering which normally should be indicator of how people are doing but right now it is not, its literally the reverse. So, they are actually going up despite of all the potential bad stuff going around right now and how the future is looking.

All people are affected on this pandemic this includes cryptocurrency investors. Most had sell their crypto to be able to survive since the pandemic had caused the ecomy to fall. This totally affected crypto market as a whole. If the economic effect of the will last for a year,  the crypto market as we expect it to grow when the halving occurs might not take it's course.

I think there will be a small effect to the price of the bitcoin after the halving or maybe there will no effect at all. This crisis will be recorded in the history because of the collapsing of the economy. It is true that there are now investors who are selling their cryptocurrencies and other speculative assets because they need cash to survive while the lockdown is still occurring. I don't know on how many days it will take before our economy to recover.

I can still feel that this year's halving will provide a significant increase on the price. However, I admit that the chances are getting low as the situation is getting worse. So we must move fast right after the after the halving because we might miss the boat Grin.
This crisis will be recorded in the history because of the collapsing of the economy.
Of course, whether when it comes to the virus or crypto world, it will be recorded. But I think the Bitcoin's worst halving (if ever happen) will be more memorable for us compare to the damage done by the pandemic. Because if we compare this Covid 19 to previous pandemics happen like the Black Plague or Spanish Flu, it was nothing. Nevertheless, I hope this pandemic will end soon.

This is the problem because small holders now need to release their long time holding funds just to sustain foods in their tables because of this pandemic.
Some of my friends in Group are now accepting the fact that after long term holding they have no choice but to sell out the precious holdings.
This same reason why now most of the holders are affecting the market value because of dumping.
But we need to be strong specially we that can still mange to hold even there are some shortage happening because of limited fundings we can find this time of Virus.

Gold dont crush because the value of fiat is made considering the national gold reserves, this could be a explanation.

Not only bitcoin, altcoin has also been negatively affected by this virus. only Usdt remains stable ... is this a sign that we are better off switching to Usdt? but it's just the same as we save dollars. I suggest besides Cryptocurrency is gold.

There is no doubt that the ongoing COVID 19 outbreak is definitely one of the major reasons for the bearish movements in the cryptocurrency market. But at the same time, there are a lot of other events which are taking place in the background and they don't get much media attention. During the past 2-3 weeks, we had two major dumps by PlusToken scammers, which tanked the exchange rates by close to $1,000 each on both occasions.

now I think crypto is more stable with support at 6500$ but everyday COVID19 becoming more and more dangerous I am worried because of that in 1-2 months maybe crypto will fall bellow 2500$. but good thinks that many countries trying to find a cure so if this works crypto might pick from here and touch 10000$.

Nice theory but you will never be able to back it up by evidence. Please read how much plus token has scammed and how much of that was sold last year.
If there are any corections they are 100% not the result of plus token.
Also, all those $1000 predictions lack substance. I'll repeat after a number of smart people in the scene: the bottom is in. You can accept it or try to fight it and argue. Either way, you will never be able to buy a $1000 bitcoin again, sorry.

So it looks like Bitcoin is correlated to the stock markets.

But Gold market however is looking to reach a new ATH now.

So shall we assume if Gold comes down in price then BTC will go up?

Why cant BTC be a independent market like Gold?

There isn't a strong negative correlation, so probably not. Stocks, BTC, and gold have all recovered together since the crash. Gold is just outperforming them both by an impressive margin.

Why cant BTC be a independent market like Gold?

Gold has been valued throughout the world for many thousands of years. Bitcoin has existed for ~11 years. What did you expect to happen? Financial and economic crises aren't usually kind to risky assets.

Gold production is way down right now, as the world's biggest producers have shut down. That's been a huge boon for price. Less supply means higher prices.

All people are affected on this pandemic this includes cryptocurrency investors. Most had sell their crypto to be able to survive since the pandemic had caused the ecomy to fall.
The decision of the investors to sell is reflecting on the market thats why it crash drastically few weeks ago. Even we like to hold our assets for long period there are times we are put in emergency situation just like this and we have no choice but to sell especially if we are not prepared and dont have cash to spend.

Nevertheless the market is way better now compared to its state before so if we overcome this problem about the virus I think thats the time for us to expect another bullish market in the future.

Even we like to hold our assets for long period there are times we are put in emergency situation just like this and we have no choice but to sell especially if we are not prepared and dont have cash to spend.
and the main reason why most of us sold part of what he are holding is because of fear, as a matured man this is my first time living with this kind of situation where you cannot go outside, there will be no income and the only thing we need is our necessities but it does not come for free so we need the money. If it happens that crypto is spendable during these then we could have spent it before the price crashes.
We cannot avoid the emergency situations like this, even if one in your family gets hospitalized you will need a money to support them and it goes same as our situation right now.

Nevertheless the market is way better now compared to its state before so if we overcome this problem about the virus I think thats the time for us to expect another bullish market in the future.
The market is pretty well right now, in my opinion, prices are not that high so we can invest as much as we want until the price starts to run upwards.

Bitcoin is below $7k, maybe there are people selling for cash because of the extend lock down.

Doesn't matter though, as long as people are in fear of the Covid-19 and the infection is not yet control globally, we might see the price just swinging in the range of $6k-$9k even after the halving. So there's a lot of uncertainty for now and it's really hard to predict the market, regardless if it is traditional market like Dow Jones or as volatile market as cryptocurrency.

if governments say that virus will last until next year , will also believe on that ?well for me id say no . virus is not predictable . it can be cured and pandemic will stop next month or two but i dont believe it will last over a year .  and why call it it virus bear ?  there is no such thing as virus bear afaik but i only hear bear ( the opposite of bull or bull run ) virus normally cant cause bear but its only a co incident i guess that the virus that we experience is spreadable , causes people to panic and changed thier lifestyle .

It depends, if there's a cure already then it wont last that long. We are waiting for the vaccines that can address this virus and I think a big pharmaceutical company has made an antibody medicine for the virus but didnt disclose it and will be available on May in the market base on the reports here.

On the other side investors need cash to by necessities so some of us sell their assets resulting for the market to turn bearish. Its not because of the virus but because of the investors who sell for different reasons.

The world is experiencing a very difficult crisis, the coronavirus, this virus are already spreads throughout the world and it affects a lot of people nationwide so that many business are also affected on it. The market price also affects because it go downs rapidly in just a simple day.
In the situation nowadays the bear market is not really impossible because of the pandemic virus, many crypto users nowadays are just focusing on their on lives so that the market price are just stable as we all know, the market price will remains as a low price. If the pandemic coronavirus will end everything will be fine, because if the coronavirus will not long last many businesses will get back to normal and as expected the market price will be fine.

I am sure after the Covid-19 pandemic we will face a huge recession, comparable to the last financial crisis or even worse. It might get ugly for some people, but the regular person will get through this and we will see new all-time highs in a few years again. This is how economic cycles work, it can't go up all the time. From time to time we face difficult situations but there is one thing we learned from all the crisis before: It might take some time, but we overcome them and we will face a new bull cycle afterwards.

It must be admitted that this corona virus has a huge impact on the world economy, causing the market to crash. Indeed there is no technical
relation corona virus with bitcoin, but how come the price of bitcoin is affected by corona virus. We see the situation now that makes a lot
of people lost his job. Surely the holders of bitcoin panicked and sold the bitcoin they had to buy their daily needs. This is why the price
of bitcoin has fallen, and what scares us all is that no one knows when this crisis will end.

At a time when many people sit at home and do not receive a salary, income from cryptocurrency remains the only earnings. Therefore, many people instead of expecting a high price for bitcoin are forced to sell it now at the current price. But the good news is that we don't have to sit around in quarantine.

I think you have a point that the covid19 is the reason or cause the crash of bitcoins value because of this pandemic everyone is worried and others get panic ,so if they have bitcoin ,they surely sold it just to buy foods and other important needs during this time. But on the other side ,most people that have bitcoin will surely do trading and investing while stay at home and can't work outside to make money. Whatever the effect of covid19 in crypto space, bitcoin will remain valuable.

So this summarise; Bitcoin price went down because Long Term Investors Hodlers sold their bitcoins because they lost their jobs and needed to sell btc for paper fiat because they needed cash to pay for rent and pay for food to survive on? So the original capital cash these investors used to buy btc before the pandemic wasnt risk free capital to begin with?

Secondly this Coronavirus pandemic is a Black Swan Event for the markets. Do you guys see this black swan event as bullish or bearish and reasons why?

Thirdly there was a post earlier saying even if the virus goes away, markets wont make a V or U or W shape recovery resulting in recession or great depression? Why is that? Because of Irreversible economic damage that has been done?

What indicator confirms that bitcoin is stop correlated to the stock market or gold market?

Oil market reporting oil barrel costing -$37 meaning if I fill my truck or car with a barrel of oil the fuel station owes me $37. What is your take on this?

Also millions of Americans are unemployed meaning will they use their govt bailout cheques to buy btc or use it to pay for debt and bills? If paying for debts then who will be the buyers be for btc to push btc into a new bull market to $10k? The chinese, south korea or even Swedish buyers? These countries are not in lockdown.

Lastly I hear the vaccine is new revolutionary, a new design invention of vaccine designed by Bill Gates that contain a nano microchip inside the vaccine that takes a long time to Patent and a long time to mass produce the vaccine for the billions of people worldwide. Only profitable companies/organisation patent a product so other companies cannot copy their product or steal their idea. So I assume Bill Gates will make a lot of money from this Vaccine as he will have a monopoly on this vaccine like he did with computer microsoft windows operating systems. Whether its a vaccine or a E-Tattoo waiting for Patent approval I bet Bill Gates will say the Vaccine will require such technologies because they can track infections/viruses and report data back in real time and also report which people avoided the vaccine by scanning people.

Finally the governments are saying theres gonna be a wave 2 or several waves of the virus e.g. Covid-20 later this year or next year so of course governments worldwide will buy what Bill Gates is selling so governments and health departments can track the virus in real time and let people know exactly when to go into future lockdowns or what periods are safe to leave the house after vaccine has been injected into the masses.

All this makes sense that the revolutionary new type vaccine will take 12-18 months like the Governments said. The question is what will BTC market look like during the next 12-18 months?

Also when everybody takes the vaccine and theres no guarantee that the vaccine wont be outdated for the new strain covid-20 or futures waves of pandemics, similar to the flu vaccine that is outdated as the flu virus strain evolves every year to a new strain then how will the markets respond to future lockdowns and future exit lockdowns? This new nano particle vaccines and E-Tattoos just provides real time statistics to the governments and no guarantee of curing the infection or curing evolved new strains of covid-19, indicating governments will make the vaccine mandatory requiring injections every year to stay up to date against the virus so they will say future lockdowns will be avoided and everything will be back to normal if everyone get their regular yearly injections but for the people who refuse to take the vaccine as I bet half of you here on these forums will refuse it for your personal reasons, the government will blame the anti-vaxxers for future lockdowns or put anti-vaxxers only into lockdown.

Okay I can see markets are recovering on the bases of hoping lock-down restrictions are lifted and everything is back to normal by June.

However... Governments are saying there might be a 2nd wave of the virus later this year or next year. Will we experience another crash like we had in march when 2nd wave hits?

Some countries have eased lock-down but eased doesn't mean back to normal. Eased means there are still some restrictions in place. How will this affect markets and economy, is it in a volatile way? Also eased down lock-downs mean more people will get together and governments will say virus cases have gone back up relating to the 1st wave of the virus and proper lockdown will be re-introduced. Will markets and economy have a crash from this?

Also does shutting down businesses in lockdown and businesses re-opening in ease lockdown and shutting down again in 2nd lockdown on 2nd wave of the virus. What kind of damage this can do to a business or company where its open and closed for long durations during the year? Will companies increases prices to make up losses during the shutdown periods?

Government will say the only way to end these type of disruptions is a vaccine. Only after a vaccine then we will see a proper recovery of the markets right?

Whats your take on this? I have a feeling it wont be simply a U or V shape recovery. Its gonna be volatile like M or W until a vaccine right? If theres no vaccine and theres a 2nd wave then it will be L game over for the markets, but where does bitcoin stands?

When the pandemic virus outbreak starts rapidly spreading there are a lot of transactions getting canceled because they scared got to be infected by this kind of virus so what is more important life or money. As a good decision, it is better to make stay safe than dies into this kind of virus by that many establishments got closed because they avoid getting attached to different people who came from infected places. Also one of the problems we face from the previous month is the market price of fiat currency and the oil those source of income have problematic outcome because both of these are rapidly drop in just a single week and after that, the cryptocurrency follows which is not good to the investors hoping that the market price of the coin becomes profitable to them.

...On the other side investors need cash to by necessities so some of us sell their assets resulting for the market to turn bearish. Its not because of the virus but because of the investors who sell for different reasons.

At a time when many people sit at home and do not receive a salary, income from cryptocurrency remains the only earnings. Therefore, many people instead of expecting a high price for bitcoin are forced to sell it now at the current price. But the good news is that we don't have to sit around in quarantine.

Those people who made the last option which is selling their funds even they lose a lot this is their choice because you can earn it again the bitcoins but life isn't so it is a good thing to save your self and your family to this virus than your money.

In global recessions/depressions/global economic meltdowns people turn to gold/silver and digital gold such as bitcoin so why bitcoin crash and gold market not crashing in times like these?

I think BTC not crashing at this moment because of fiat money crisis. Many government already printing money to save their people as well as. At the same time people who are in home trying to earn alternative way and cryptocurrency is the best way they are seeing. In this virus time if they invest or gain money from home that may be best one and that may be main reason to btc high market.

thanks.

During the early days of the pandemic and then follows the lockdowns I think its normal for Btc to crash due to people panicking that they need cash for this uncertain situation. But as we look at the market now, its truly an independent asset that regardless of the crisis is still making big surge in price specially that halving is coming in next few days.

If this is the case then I assume if the previous decline is not related to anxiety or panic due to the Covid-19 pandemic, if the collapse of the crypto market yesterday was due to this pandemic then surely the decline or its lowest value would be greatly destroyed might be lower than 3k, who know, because the situation is very worrying. I just assumed the market collapse yesterday was probably just a normal situation because of a big correction before the halving bitcoin happened, with the current spike there is at least nothing more to worry about in this chaotic situation due to this pandemic.

The planet of crypto currency cascade down as at hand are more or less individuals converted their money into fiat currency, honorable to sidestep having the need of sources to endure the outbreak. Still we are looking send to generate additional earning little the virus is spreading. for the reason that around of the relatives at the moment admit the utilize of crypto or the digital currency as payment. as it is nearer and protected furthermore they don't want to pass on outside as roughly of the seats at the moment finished a lockdown to let alone fill consciousness infected.

Okay I can see markets are recovering on the bases of hoping lock-down restrictions are lifted and everything is back to normal by June.

However... Governments are saying there might be a 2nd wave of the virus later this year or next year. Will we experience another crash like we had in march when 2nd wave hits?

That's the million dollar question. I would say so, yes. The market seems to be running in broad sentiment cycles. Right now, nothing can stop the exuberance behind the promised economic recovery, not even unprecedented contractions and Depression-level unemployment.

All that optimism is based on a robust reopening of the economy. A second wave (especially if it's a much stronger wave as with the Spanish Flu), combined with the regular flu season is very likely to overwhelm health care systems again. That will in turn call for economic shutdowns. That will reverse all the previous optimism and likely cause another crisis in the markets.

What kind of damage this can do to a business or company where its open and closed for long durations during the year? Will companies increases prices to make up losses during the shutdown periods?

These shutdowns are extremely costly for businesses. Big damage to cashflow and supply chains, wasted overheads.

I don't know that companies can increase prices in this atmosphere. They already have excess productive capacity and inventory and consumers have way less money than before. I think we're going to see a cycle of layoffs and bankruptcies.

I don't think that we will be back normal soon. This pandemic has somewhat reset everyone's outlook in life.

However... Governments are saying there might be a 2nd wave of the virus later this year or next year. Will we experience another crash like we had in march when 2nd wave hits?

If I'm not mistaken, countries that eases up, like South Korea and China was this kind fo 2nd wave already.

Whats your take on this? I have a feeling it wont be simply a U or V shape recovery. Its gonna be volatile like M or W until a vaccine right? If theres no vaccine and theres a 2nd wave then it will be L game over for the markets, but where does bitcoin stands?

Even without this pandemic, It won't be very easy to see the price goes on a parabola. It will still be very volatile, sideways market, few break outs here and there. But I don't think it will be a L game, we might see some corrections, but it doesn't mean we can't bounce back.

It rebounded we have all the whales and the believers to thank, for not dumping their shares those who dump their shares are small holders who invest without confidence in the market, now that we are days before the halving the market will become more stable, it's hard to predict how high it could get we can only predict after the pandemic is over.

Whales could dump their bitcoin but that doesn't mean they will not buy back,

They are different from those who panic because they will dump and will continues their action as a loss, while these whales are smart enough to take advantage of the wrong decision by the weak hands, now that the market is bullish, let's thank of the upcoming halving but this bullish market does not guarantee that it will continue so we also have to be cautious, get out and sell if you are in profit, and just start to accumulate again if the price will dip, that's what I learn from my experience in the past.

Or maybe just because of the halving coming up. I think a lot of people thought that before halving the price of bitcoin will go down or they are finding a good price to buy to be ready for it but as the date is closing, the price is rising so people have no choice but to buy at that price; the price is slowly falling now, maybe it is just the time for the correction or for that time to buy.

Many lost their way due to the low price of Bitcoin nobody could have imagined that the worth of Bitcoin would rise such a lot at a time when the Fiat currency crisis is looming thanks to the virus the very fact that the Fiat currency has stabilized has also reduced its price. Everyone thought an equivalent was the case with Bitcoin But Bitcoin doesn't depend upon the economy of any country It depends on market conditions You're immediately it is time to repair it and buy Gradually its price is increasing more.

If we consider most of the reports for whales wallet transaction, they are still holding to there coin till now, over 2½ years . Most trades are very minimal for whales, this ones are very rich and may never consider trading those small pump and dump. we always believe we understand the process of dump and pump of bitcoin especially, it is more than the technical analysis. Am very happy the pandemic came this year not 2021 which could delay the bullrun more than we expect. I believe we are still in the 4 year cycle.

Do you think the btc halving has already been priced in at near 10k?

What year are we in that 4 year cycle?

if the 4 year cycle is real (and i'm not convinced it is) then 2020 = 2016. 2013 and 2017 were bubble years, which suggests that 2021 is the next one. there are two alternate possibilities to consider though.

1. the pattern is becoming too obvious so the next bubble will happen sooner (2020)
2. the 4 year cycle is a bunch of BS

there are probably still people buying based on the halving, and also people selling because they expect a post-halving dump, so i wouldn't call it priced in yet.

If people would follow of what is obvious then it will happen sooner or later than what it should be, coz man speculation these days are pretty massive.
2. the 4 year cycle is a bunch of BS
I don't know man, it seems like people look at the market in a very technical way when it should be not simply because it is decentralized, people should not be relying on the technical side as it is just a past data hoping to happen again.
there are probably still people buying based on the halving, and also people selling because they expect a post-halving dump, so i wouldn't call it priced in yet.
Of course we all do, we made the halving event an opening for gullible people, look where are they now, looking for the 24hour price changes.

The cryptocurrency market is similar to the stock market, not the gold market. The stock market collapsed, respectively, the price of cryptocurrencies collapsed too. Bitcoin is only conditionally called digital gold. The bearish trend may indeed resume after halving. If there is a second wave of coronavirus in the fall, the economic crisis will be even more devastating for the economy. The stock market, cryptocurrencies and commodities may show new price lows.

For me, it isn't. The stock market are not similar to the market that we have. As the stock market having a rough time this pandemic, the price of bitcoin and other crypto currencies are having a good performance outperforming the stock market and even Gold. It is true though that the pandemic is affecting the crypto market but I don't think it is that bad as stock market.

I can't believe there is such cycle either.
However there is a certain tendency and it is somehow tied up with timeline. I'm not sure it is sctrictly year-to-year cycle, I think there is a possibility for previous four year's path to be done in 3 years (for example) now.

Did the price of cryptocurrency collapse? I think you are not seeing the right market.
I've witness bitcoin dip this year but I never loss my trust to it, and now it has pump to $10,000 before it drop, when it reach at $10,000, I have already made some good profit on that, and if bitcoin will dump again, I don't call it a bad market because once again it gives us an opportunity to dump.

Stocks does not dump most of the time, but bitcoin can dump and bounce back, they are different IMO as when we are seeing bitcoin will dump, we use to think it's normal because it will just recover soon, but in stocks we will have doubt as stocks are suppose to be stable. s

Ideally we should be in the 20K range, with a new ATH. Now the question is why that is not happening? Contrary to what the experts say, there is limited liquidity available in the market. As a result when some whale dumps his coins all of a sudden, the prices drop by 10% or 15% all of a sudden (just like what happened today). Unfortunately, this situation is going to persist for a few more years.

Honestly $10k price is a psychological barrier that we are having trouble breaking over easily for years now, no matter how many times we moved over $10k we have managed to go down so I really do not know if we can do it right now or it will be like all other times and drop down.

In the end I feel like bitcoin was already around $9.9k and it has dropped like hell, that is ~1400 bucks lower than the recent peak. I have said the same thing last time we were over $10k 3-4 months ago, I said that $10k is just a psychological barrier, technically speaking there is literally zero difference between $9k and $11k, they are all the same however for some reason people see $10k price and start to sell. That 5 digit must have some sort of psychological thing in people's minds I suppose.

Okay so the btc halving looks like it has been priced in already last week right?

Typically after each halving how much on average does btc dump by in % before resuming a bull market?

Last year btc had a mini bull market that reached $13k with no virus pandemic then. Afterwards it dumped 50% of its value to $7k then went back up to $10k before the virus dump to under $4k. With no economic pandemic doom last year why the price went from 13k to 7k then 10k? Who were the buyers and sellers then? Why the price moves up or down in £3000 range price swing patterns?

Do we expect to see mini bull markets and mini bear markets continuing with each price swing up or down with a price range of $3k meaning there are longer no more long years 4 cycle phases of a market? It will just be hard to predict random mini bull markets and random mini bear markets lasting just a few months until the virus uncertainty is gone? But then again why last year 2019 BTC didnt reach new ATH of $20001 in 2019?

Lastly will bitcoin halving make mining unprofitable and if miners leave then what will happen to the btc network?

Bitcoin is already deflationary at limited at just 21 million bitcoins available. The halving makes btc more rarer but how will this play in the markets that is mining profitability vs btc rarity?

Finally has energy electricity prices have come down like oil in the markets to determine miners profitability?

Btc needs to break the psychological pre-pandemic high of $10400 last Feb setting up higher highs if we know for sure btc will have a long bull market right.

In both 2012 and 2016, the market rallied in the months preceding the halving, then dumped before the actual halving took place. It looks like history is repeating again.

After the August 2012 rally, BTC crashed 57% from $16.41 to $7.10.

After the June 2016 rally, BTC crashed 40% from $779 to $465.

While I don't necessarily expect a 40%+ crash, it's a very real possibility. I'm slightly disturbed at the number of OGs who think only shallow (sub-20%) corrections are possible, and who seem to be sure we are entering a parabolic bubble. I think it's more likely we are in a mid-term accumulation phase like 2015.

I do not think BTC will collapse due to the COVID-19 epidemic. It is true that this epidemic has caused the global economic recession. There are many bankrupt businesses and unemployed workers. Governments such as the United States and the EU have had to print huge amounts of money off the market to revive their economies. As a result, stock prices, gold prices and BTC prices have increased significantly after a severe decline. BTC from $ 3800 has risen sharply to $ 10k in the last few days. I think that by the time of havling, the price of BTC will rise even more.

The market is already growing, and the halving has already taken place. Before halving the price did go up and then declined to $8.3k and now it has been moving up, around $9,100 when I last checked. This is not going to be the end, it's going to keep on growing and that's it. We are all not very sure where it's going to reach, but there has been a lot of wild speculations before now and some have been predicting that it will reach $50,000 or even above that, and some have kept it at $30,000. I really don't have anything to say of where it's heading, but I hope it goes for a better position, because the halving is something that we all have been looking forward to.

But doesn't the halving affect Miners and has the energy electricity markets have come down in price to make mining profitable?

This virus took the world by sudden and I believe that's why a lot of things were ruined like this, because if they knew about it (if China let them know about it) they would have been more prepared about it and even if it does spread it wouldn't be as serious as it is now, and they will be able to contain it as quickly and as easily as possible.

So, it's because it came all of a sudden that's why everything was affected heavily. As for now, things are getting back to the top. A lot of stocks that were affected by the pandemic are now recovering and their price going back up. Even cryptocurrencies that crashed earlier have been increasing in price again.

I'm not a chinese or something that is related to China in any way but what do you mean by " If China let them know about it, they would have been more prepared" lol as of 2019 China is reporting a new case of coronavirus, the world did not just take it seriously especially the America. The fact that the virus can live to surface for days is the reason why it spreads quickly.

The world is not ready for pandemic, that's all. If we could have just built more hospitals, schools, medical facility of this kind we could have won this battle easily but instead countries are busy for researching a destructive weapon in case of war. Look at the world now with the silent war.

The corona virus did a big part why crypto industry is down and started the bear market mode up until now. Even the halving hype did not create so much to push the price upwards and sustain in for a long time, instead it dumped again. Our economy will only recover if vaccine will be manufactured in due time then everything will be back to normal and see the silver lining of this pandemic we are into.

It will take a long time to recover the economy but the vaccine for this disease has not been discovered yet I don't think it's possible to get a vaccine for this disease anymore. Many countries have already come under control. The impact of the virus on the market is much less now The market is getting worse and worse because of the bears They are managing the market as they wish. The situation is going to be worse in the world but the virus is not affecting the beer market Everything is going back to the way it was before the bull's influence was gone.

COVID 19 has had major blow to many sectors of live including financial and economic sectors. Comparing the impact on the economy of some countries, one can say the cryptocurrency market has be resilient and showed great resistance. There has not been a major decline in the market due to the COVID 19.

We all have to go a long way from here because it will take years for now to economy to be back on the track as we had in 2019 or 2018. This is not going to be easy and now once the lockdown of the countries is lifted the real problem will begin and in next quarter we will come of with many small and big problems of many workers, companies, demand, money supply etc int h world. BTC hopefully during all this time will continue to outperform the other markets.

Hello,

Will Btc halving this May coming will get us out of this virus bear market?

You have already got your answer and Nope nothing helps from Halving as we are still in lower capitalization and you can just check the market for that.

I think we will stay in this situation until middle of next year and that is the hard time we must face but after that?i believe that  Bull will come to rescue us and at least double out money from this fall.

Okay what about the miners with their limited rewards now cut in half. Are they still profiting in the most mined countries and hows the energy electricity prices there now? Cheap?

It looks like the only way out of this uncertainty is a global coordinated vaccine then proper bull markets will follow right? Meaning no bull market this year?

Can governments worldwide sustain this money printing injecting trillions every 2-3 months stimulus till global vaccine is released?

The question is will government bailed out companies and government bailed out employees use their stimulus cheques to buy bitcoins and will we experience a temporary stimulus cheque bull market this year (market artificially inflated by stimulus cheques) till the ink in the money printer finishes?

Lastly does free stimulus cheque money devalues bitcoin in anyway? For example if USDT token decides to print out a trillion USDT tokens out of thin air and bitcoins have been bought for free because of this then wont this affect the true value of bitcoin?

Is there a way to make bitcoins only purchasable with true hard earned money instead of free money? Possible to create such market?

The market is already growing, and the halving has already taken place. Before halving the price did go up and then declined to $8.3k and now it has been moving up, around $9,100 when I last checked. This is not going to be the end, it's going to keep on growing and that's it. We are all not very sure where it's going to reach, but there has been a lot of wild speculations before now and some have been predicting that it will reach $50,000 or even above that, and some have kept it at $30,000. I really don't have anything to say of where it's heading, but I hope it goes for a better position, because the halving is something that we all have been looking forward to.
What made you think that the Coronavirus has nothing to do with cryptos? This is a pandemic and it has lots of ways that it can affect Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Although the cryptocurrency market has managed to recover recently, at first there was a panic and a lot of people were afraid that Bitcoin will fall, and not just Bitcoin, including the stock market. And things started to get worse when it got to the extent that there was a lockdown and so many companies were losing money to the extent they had sack their staffs.

People were losing their jobs, and cryptocurrency doesn’t seem like a good option for them at that moment. I’m happy that Bitcoin has been able to recover, and it’s likely to keep the growth steady.

An economic crisis or a major recession is also likely due to the fact that major European countries are constantly affected by the corona virus. Russia is one of the countries where the number of infected people has increased and the US has not been able to control the disease well. If this continues for another 5 months then I suspect that investors will run away once again and the market will be bloody, especially not except for crypto. Be prepared for this.

When China government/bank are officially releasing their centralised national crypto cashless society coin?

Will china see bitcoin as a threat to its centralised national crypto cashless society coin or both can co-exist in the market?

Can the public buy or invest in this china coin or is it the matter of the public swapping their cash for this china coin?

This China coin will be just like stable USDT but centralised right?

Can the public buy btc with china coin? Will exchanges open up new trading pairs with btc and china coin?

China buying a lot of gold and stocking up on its gold reserves. Will china mislead its people and say their china coin is backed by gold? And if USA dollar fails as a world reserve currency in these gloomy economic times then will the new chinese crypto coin become the new world reserve currency cause china will claim its backed by gold showing its huge gold reserves to the world to prove it?

Okay main question is if China see btc as a threat to its centralised coin then can china raid all the mining pools in its country and have like overall control like 80% of the btc network hash power? If so then chinese government can launch 51% attack on bitcoin right because 80% is more than enough compared to 51%. Correct me if im wrong.

Why electricity is cheap in china?

If electricity in china wont increase in price soon in china then what can we do stop centralised mining pools/farms in China and diversify that 80% mining monopoly from china to world wide in other countries? Will a new btc hard fork required for this or soft fork?

Will changing btc to POS from POW fix this?

I think that the bear market will start later, because this virus is only the beginning.

We may know the real effect once the economic starts opening up after the lockdown how the situation turns ugly or is it stable. Because demand certainly going to fall as unemployment rates are rising and this would mean that production will fall and have the adverse effect as well in the economy. Hope country’s can take care of this in this uncertain times.

All these btc mining pools in china or any of them in hong kong?:

- Poolin

- F2Pool

- BTC.com

- Antpool

- ViaBTC

This is what I think will happen within the next year or two, give or take global economy wise:

- Chinese Cashless Crypto Curreny Yuan, will be claimed by chinese govt. to be backed by gold because china has been buying and hoarding a lot of gold recently and the world will be more interested in this Yuan as a world reserve currency replacing the losing $dollar as world reserve currency but truth is not really backed by gold.

- UK Brexit will happen end of this year, the Euro currency is currently the 2nd most popular world currency after current world reserve currency $dollar but when brexit happens the EU will struggle and the Euro currency will collapse starting in Germany sending shockwaves across europe. This will definitely promote the Chinese Yuan as new winner World reserve currency after failing Euro and $Dollar.

-  Currently Hong Kong Riots are happening because china wants to claim Hong Kong back as main mainland of china but the British saying China cant claim it until 2047. China wont wait till 2047 and want hong kong back now. China will be global no.1 super power once Yuan becomes world reserve currency and so will by force take hong kong before 2047. Once that happens Hong Kong dollars will be replaced by chinese Yuan. This will more likely get Britain and USA agitated that can lead to World War 3.

- Have you guys noticed Terrorism that flooded the news daily has suddenly vanished from tv news. Its like the terrorists are on this virus lockdown too that doesnt make sense. This indicates that the virus have made terrorism redundant and the virus will be the new long term fear tool on the tv news replacing terrorism. This indicates this Virus will be long term lasting years or even decades like terrorism did. So things wont get back to normal soon.

The question is how Bitcoin market will cope under long term virus lockdowns and long term social distancing or even worse under world war 3 Huh

Remember Pre-Pandemic Feb 2020 Normal and the New so called current Normal are 2 totally different things. Can global markets reach new ATH's without bailouts and under this 'New Normal'?

I agree. Place for some horror stories come others. The only question is how long will people believe in these stories about the virus?
In my country, almost no one believes in him. But the authorities persistently impose masks and restrictions on the work of many types of business

I don't think that virus is fake news. It was there and many people went sick because of it but I can agree that the whole situation was a bit exaggerated.
When it comes to terrorism and other negative stuff that hasn't disappeared, of course, but COVID-19 was the top news and everybody in the world was occupied with that.
It's well known that media like sensations and to spread the drama.
Now when the pandemic is over or has weakened many other issues in our societies come to surface and this is usual situation.

Yes, no one knows when the virus will stop spreading. A lot of people thought that it would have been over by now, but despite the lockdown everywhere the virus still continue to spread. Now people can’t continue with the lockdown and the government has no other option than to ease the lockdown and let people go back to doing their business, with a little bit of restrictions.

I’m really happy about Bitcoin, the pandemic was not able to hold it down. After it decreased it didn’t take long before it started to increase in price again. The price has already gotten to $9,500+ today and might be heading to $10,000 very soon as per all of our speculation. I do not know some people still call this a bear market even the virus chaos are not settled down.

Copy cat Riots gonna happen in main cities around the world soon in non-wealthy areas. Police brutality happens everyday in usa where blacks are killed by cops. The media is twisting this Floyd George murder by cops narrative into another narrative that covers up the overall truth that is people are losing their jobs, global economies collapsing due to virus and people realise its bs so they taking to the streets to riot.

Social media are twisting the narrative and using the 'I Cant breath' trend as a psychological tool as most people wear masks and cant breath properly so people gonna gather for riots and there will be copy cat riots across the globe to stand up to the top 1% elite that control the 99% of us so be ready guys. Social media and other tv media news want trump out of office so they are playing this psyche infowar as well as fooling the masses into believing riots is caused by a cop killing a black man when in fact global riots is caused by this virus handling by world governments. So everyone be ready, theres gonna be looting and violence in your non-wealthy neighbourhoods soon.

This will be bearish for btc or bullish?

All they are doing is to just guess when the virus will end, but nobody knows when it’s going to be. The lockdown that was initiated in every country didn’t even work and now people are still going around and there even those that are protesting in so many countries for the Black Lives Matter stuff, which means that there is the probability for it to keep spreading from there, which I don’t really wish for.

As for Bitcoin, these things can only affect it at the earlier time, but after some time it starts going back up. That’s what happened with this Covid-19 situation, it dropped for a short time.

BTC does not fail because it needs much more serious reasons to fall lower than a couple of coughing old people and pneumonia.
Gold does not fall because it is almost a tradition and classic of long-term investment, and for the fall of gold, you also need more weighty reasons than some virus. Gold is traditional save haven.
Both examples about assets whose collapse would mean a total collapse in their market.
